Amazing food experience of real Turkish food. We had a feast and thoroughly enjoyed our time here…read morerelaxing after a long week. The owner was our host and he was so friendly while juggling multiple tables and training new staff. We started with Baba Ganoush and Coban Salad, adventured into the unusual with the Kelle Paca and feasted on the Chicken Shawarma and Beyti Kebab. Quantity is generous with each dish and we ended up packing up the equivalent of one full meal between all the dishes to take home. I love that they have a coal grill right in the restaurant, grilling up delicious meats fresh to order but there was no smoke in the dining area. Also, there is a cafe area and a bar area when not eating, as their were patrons hanging out and relaxing in the spacious area. My personal favorite for the night was the Kelle Paca as I've never seen it in any restaurant. It is a hearty tomato based soup made of head meat. It sound crazy but is absolutely delicious! I like the different chunks of meat, all slightly different in texture and taste. End the meal with some traditional tea!

It was not very busy, only two tables of customers, probably because it is the only restaurant in a very small mall. The store was small, but decorated nicely with the right vibe for family gathering. The waiters were nice and service was attentive. Updated review March 6…read more I brought my coworkers here to try out some Turkish food. We chose the Mixed kebab platter for 4. We were a party of 6 and we were able finish the platter. The server was brand new to job so I will give him a pass this time. Some constructive feedback here. 1. Please do not clear the plates and our platter when we are still eating. 2. Please refill the bread, dipping sauce and water. My water was never refilled for the whole meal and my mouth was dry after eating all the food. Overall the food was excellent and kebabs were juicy and delicious. We were able to divide the bill in 6. Thank you Mabelle for the delicious food and my coworkers were impressed with the quality of the food and presentation of the kebab platter.

We also ordered "Kunefe" for dessert and enjoyed it.

We picked out the beet dip appetizer, pomegranate salad, lamb stew and the doniar pide. Everything was absolutely delicious and I really liked all the different flavors and textures. Will be back!

This place opened almost a year ago and as a first timer here it was an enjoyable experience…read more Sigara Boregi/Spring Roll Karisik Pide Adana Kebab Beyti Prior to our orders we were welcomed with in-house fresh bread with sampler dips. The pancar ezme is my fave - roasted beetroot cream with herbs and olive oil. The spring roll is so crispy, cheesy but light. For our mains, the mixed pide is packed with different flavours and is perfect for sharing. Adana Kebab and Beyti stands out for me. The adana has a slightly smoky, mild spice on it and very juicy (its so, so good! ), while the Beyti was served on bed of yogurt and tomato sauce was so flavourful. You can tell all the ingredients of the food are so fresh. The friendly service from the staff makes it more welcoming for us. Zilan was very attentive and Manolya was very nice giving details of our orders. Beautiful designed interior, nice plates and lovely cutleries stood out that adds positivity to our overall experience. Friday and saturday nights is their live music nights have to come back and see that one! Situated in Dufferin and Finch area its just right beside Mandarin Restaurant.

Antos Restaurant is the very best Middle Eastern cuisine you can find here or anywhere else…read more The restaurant itself is unassuming from the outside, but do yourself a huge favour - grab some people you love, pack them in a car, and surprise them with the most soul-feeding meal you'll ever enjoy together. Anto - who manages, serves, and cooks - is a powerhouse of a chef. We got the Anto selection, a large plate of varied skewers which comes with hummus, garlic paste, salad, rice, Middle Eastern pickles, and a tomato based flatbread to scoop it all into. Easily enough for 4 people. It only takes a bite of the sliced cucumber pickle to know you're in excellent hands. Everything Anto puts on his tables are the highest quality, best prepared, most lovingly made versions of what they are. The skewers are succulent, all grilled to perfection so that you can taste what makes each one uniquely delicious while making it hard to choose a favourite. The rice is powerfully flavourful. The garlic paste is light and fluffy with a deep garlic flavour that makes everything it touches pop. The hummus is smooth, without losing any of the freshness of the chickpeas. And the bread - with it's tomato spread and parsley - is the perfect bow to bind it all together, a thin carb with just the right note of acidity to keep you eating until the massive amount of food you thought you could never fish is all gone. Anto himself is loving, generous, and passionate. He's a good soul with an unbeatable talent, and I look forward to enjoying more of his food and company. I wasn't wise enough to take a picture before I ate, but let the empty plates in the picture tell their own story. Come here. Thank you, Anto, for sharing your exquisite food with us.

I didn't expect much pulling into the horribly maintained parking lot and realizing the restaurant…read morewas sandwiched between an adult video store and an eviction notice but once you walk in you knew this place was going to be special. From the decor on the walls to the high quality tiles there was some legit funding put into this small place. Walking in we were greeted by Anto, who was sitting by himself browsing channels on his television. He quickly sat us down and went over the menu with us, which has no descriptions or pictures. We picked the chicken dishes and ordered some coffee, which turned out to be authentic Turkish style served in beautiful cups and saucers. Packs a punch, too. Anto explained he has two restaurants back home in Armenia and he's also an actor and singer. He reminded me of Peter Stormare from Prison Break. Anyway, he explains how he prepares everything so it pleases the eyes, nose, and tastebuds and he wasn't kidding. The dish was beautiful. From the arrangement to the small details in the food itself (I could eat the roasted jalapeño on its own and be satisfied). Each aspect of the dish was special on its own so eating each part of it was like having several culinary journeys. Anto was also kind enough to give us complimentary hummus and babaganoush. Both were amazing in their presentation and subtle but on point flavour profiles. I wanted to try the tabouli but unfortunately he was out of parsley and it would be a 45 minute wait for the delivery. I will be going back just to try it, to be honest. The meal was so good we ended up ordering two different dishes to go to share with family. The beef cube dish is prepared to perfection and I'd recommend that if you're not into chicken. Everything he prepares is done with fresh ingredients, years of experience, and careful consideration. I absolutely can not recommend this restaurant enough.
