My wife and I received only one marriage counseling session and then he split us up into individual sessions for the remaining 4 months, likely to double up on payments. To make matters worse, he was obviously unhappy I was far more financially successful than he was and its a pitiful to pay a "professsional" for this behavior. He didn't have the self awareness to remain impartial about details of my life. Furthermore, he demonstrated poor emotional intelligence and a lack of mature values which expectantly dictated his unprofessional behavior. As I should have seen before here on Yelp, that experience wasn't unique and he has clearly built a reputation for for it. Like others have stated here, stay away.

After having only one session with us as an introduction, she asked that we each see her separately so that she could get a better understanding from each of our perspectives. After an explanation of the fact that she did not accept any insurance, we reluctantly agreed to pay out of pocket because we wanted to try and work on our relationship. At $225 a pop she saw us separately every week even though we were supposedly doing couples therapy. The entire time we were her patients we saw her together 3 times in which she encouraged us to have no conversation whatsoever. At $450 a week, she was making a killing. While seeing me, she advised me to hire an attorney so that I could be prepared to fight my boyfriend for custody. When seeing my boyfriend, she advised him that he could very easily get full custody of our child and that she would be more that happy to write a letter that would prove me unfit to care for my own child. No wonder she didn't want us to speak and work on our problems, if we did we might figure out that she was pitting us against each other and her meal ticket might disappear. That is exactly what happened. If you value your relationship, dont see this woman. If you want honest help, dont see this woman. If you want to pay someone a mortgage to ruin your life... have at it.
