From the initial phone call to the procedure itself, everything went well. My daughter is an anxious patient, but after reading reviews about Dr. McGann's experience with nervous patients, I felt better about choosing this office. During the consultation Dr. McGann patiently answered all of our questions and the wisdom teeth extractions went better than expected. The aftercare instructions were explained, and her prescriptions were sent to our pharmacy of choice and ready for pickup before we even left the office. Brandy walked my daughter to the car and made sure she was safely in her seat, which I thought was very thoughtful and compassionate. The office itself is contemporary, calm, and welcoming, with beautiful wood accents and two comfortable seating areas. There's a waiting area inside and outside. I really liked the vertical wood partitions. It gave the office a clean, Scandinavian design vibe. The building is on a corner lot with a small parking area in the back, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's also metered street parking directly across the street. The personal touches in the post care bag like chapstick, extra gauze and the syringe for flushing the medicine, meant so much. As a college student, she loves the new sweatshirt! She wore it inside at home today saying how comfortable it is! Wisdom teeth removal is a rite of passage for many teens and I'm so happy that my daughter had a pleasant experience. She's feeling better since the teeth have been removed. So grateful for this office. Dr. McGann's bedside manner and attentiveness are truly top-tier. We live 2.5 to 3 hours away (depending on traffic) so when I realized I had a missed call from the oral surgery office, I panicked a little thinking we had forgotten something! Imagine my relief and surprise when I listened to the voicemail and it was Dr. McGann personally calling the same evening to check on my daughter's healing and progress. A+++ This office treats its patients with respect and care. It operates like a well-oiled machine. Every staff member is efficient, competent, and a skilled communicator. This kind of care is rare. Dr Machado performed a double jaw surgery on me in 2012 - thirteen years ago. I really haven't been able to put into words that he completely changed my entire life. I cannot express enough gratitude and thanks for being able to live the last 13 years happy with my face, after hating looking in the mirror for my entire life prior. Dr Machado is the single most pivotal person in my life after my family. No longer having my appearance be a daily negative factor in my life is best gift I could have ever received. Dr. Machado and his office fought hard for my parents to get the surgery approved through insurance, made a critical last minute decision to go for double jaw surgery instead of having to do two as originally planned, which was so amazing. He was available during my after care and I always felt like I was in good hands and that he was available should I ever need him... which I did a couple years later. My favorite experience was a year or so later when I came back in to get a screw removed - Dr Machado looked at my face and said something to the effect of "I could lowered the top teeth slightly more" - which is something I had considered in passing. I am more than thrilled with my face, its an absolute success by every measure and by any other doctor would be considered 'perfect' - but I am even more appreciative that Dr. Machado cares down the millimeters and scrutinizes your face just as much or more as you do. He is a true artist and a perfectionist. When you undergo this type of surgery you need to have someone you can trust with your appearance, especially in the trying times when you have to wait months to a year for the final result. Absolutely incredible patient care !…read more My 93 year old mother had resisted extraction of an infected tooth for almost 2 years....as fortunately it was draining and amazingly didn't cause her any discomfort or sickness. But at last week's periodic dental appointment her luck ran out and immediate removal was ordered. However her regular dental office could not give her a Periodontist consultation until almost TWO months.....and after that ( in middle of the holidays) who knows when they'd schedule the actual extraction?? In this case of a really senior citizen I saw a possible matter of Life and death if infection spread to her sinuses or eventual septicemia. Fortunately her clinic gave me phone references of some oral surgery clinics. The first one I called didn't treat patients over 85. BUT we were SO fortunate that the Center for Oral and Facial Surgery offered her an immediate appointment !! Literally I called about 1 pm Friday and they offered mom a spot at 930 the following Monday!!!!! And this wasn't just a pre- operative consultation...but the actual extraction. Her luck continued getting DR. TAYLOR.... young, sharp and current with modern dental practices. He also handled mom really well psychologically to adjust his technique when she refused sedation at the last minute to only want local lidocaine numbing. In total the procedure took about 20 minutes! And I felt the pricing was very reasonable for the HIGH QUALITY of Dr Taylor's EXCELLENT care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this excellent practice!

Despite repeatedly confirming that we wanted to proceed and pay for the appointment, we were continually asked if we wanted to reschedule instead. We were also repeatedly reminded about the card processing fee even after acknowledging it and agreeing to pay. Over that time, Dr. Brian Mananquil and the entire Bella Vita Dental team have consistently gone above and beyond to make sure every concern I've had was addressed with patience, transparency, and genuine care. My treatment has been pretty extensive, to say the least. Dr. Brian has handled everything from implants and sinus lifts to numerous rounds of Invisalign and refinements, along with all of my general fillings, crowns, and other dental work. You name it--I've probably had to get it done; my teeth needed the whole kitchen sink. Throughout the entire process, he has always taken the time to clearly explain my options, answer every question I had, and make adjustments whenever I wanted to explore different approaches. TL;DR: The billing service that Bella Vita employs filed 2 insurance claims with incorrect billing…read moreinformation, which were denied by my insurance, and are refusing to update that info and resubmit the claim (as recommended by my insurance) and are leaving me with an outstanding $1167 bill. I was a patient with Bella Vita for about 5 years until I moved away last October. I decided to start Invisalign with them in May 2025 and paid my quoted amount ($2411) in full the day treatment started. To my surprise, in April 2026 I received a call that my claim had been denied by my insurance but they would help me out and file another claim that would hopefully be approved by Delta Dental but if that claim was denied, they would file an appeal for me. I got a text on May 11, 2026 that I had an outstanding balance that amounted to ~50% ($1167) of what I originally paid at the start of my treatment so I called to ask what happened and Emily at the front desk told that they filed an appeal for my denied claim but couldn't answer any insurance or billing questions due to the fact that their billing department is not done "in house" so they would have to relay all my questions to a separate service. The office also refused to give me any contact information for their billing department so I'm forced to play telephone with the office and their billing department but also said they could not tell me why my claims had been denied. I was, however, told that my benefits for ortho had been maxed out. I called my insurance immediately after that initial call and they told me that, no, my claim was not denied due to my coverage being maxxed out (it has not been at that point) but because there were errors with the billing information on the claims that were submitted. The insurance rep also notified me that they had no appeal on file, so either there is some technical issue on the insurance side or the office lied about filing an appeal for that 2nd denied claim. The insurance rep told me it was an easy fix and that the office's billing department just need to update that billing info, resubmit, and it should be approved. From May until August of this year, I've called 6 times asking for updates and relaying the message that all they have to do is update their incorrect billing info and resubmit the claim and it should be approved. Everytime I call, I'm met with "The claim was already filed and denied twice so there's not much we can do, but we'll ask the billing department again." I've tried asking for the practice manager and have been told "she's not at her desk but she will call you later" and I never receive that call. All in all, be wary of this place. Since their billing is not done in house, no one at the office can answer specific billing questions and refuse to give contact info for that billing office so you're forced to play telephone with them and their billing department if you ever have an insurance issue.
