I completely owned up and accepted responsibility for this fact. I haven't been in for treatment in 10 months. I asked if it was possible to just be refunded for this ONE month since the payment hadn't cleared yet. She went on to tell me how it's not her responsibility to manage my bills, which I never said. Also how she has too many clients to have to reach out to everyone. These companies bank on people not remembering to cancel so they just keep getting charged. I suggested that as a business owner she might set up a CRM that would send out an automated message as a reminder that the service is still active. She then told me I was yelling at her and she wasn't going to listen to it and hung up on me. As I stated to her, I wasn't yelling at all, she was just upset that I said it was bad practice to not have some kind of system in place to reach out to her customers as a courtesy reminder. If you really care about your customers you would've taken it as constructive criticism and not been so offended that I even suggested it. Furthermore you would've been more than happy to refund ONE month after I've paid for TEN with no services rendered.

This practice was recommended to me by a current patient who's whole family comes here and I can see why. I started to see Dr. Kevin Brown, but I met Dr. Scott Samson and they are both outstanding, super friendly and personable and they know their stuff. The office staff is also outstanding. I had several phone calls with them before my first appointment. In the office they are just as nice and helpful as when I called in initially to inquire about scheduling an appointment. Their website provides tons of information. I've gone to three appointments thus far and am happy. It will take time for the doctor to get to know me and what works and doesn't for my chronic pain. If you need chiropractic care in the area, give this wonderful practice a try as you won't regret it.

I moved so the last place I went wasn't convenient anymore. Picked this one because it's the closest to my home. Came in for my initial consultation. The chiropractor was very thorough in going over everything with me to develop a proper treatment plan. I had x-rays done and it showed I had a curve to my spine. Just did my first treatment. So far no change but I will be coming several days a week. I am hopeful and will give another review later. I was told it could take 8-12 visits to get back to normal.

I went to my appoint 3 hours later, gave the receptionist my license and insurance card to which she gave me all the papers to fill out. Then someone comes to me and says they don't take Cigna anymore. So now I am in pain with no appointment where I could have gotten in with someone else. Unfortunately he is not able to physically meet all of my needs due to his own injuries. My second appointment went much better and he was able to really manipulate me using his tools and I left feeling like we were heading in the right direction. I also love that he's not trying to sell you any ancillary products and just stays within the scope of his practice. That's less and less common in the chiropractors I have seen over the years. I had consulted with medical doctors, visited an ER, attempted physical therapy exercises and taken a host of medications yet nothing had made a dent in the pain. Relatively naive and apprehensive about chiropractic care, I had become willing to try anything. And I am so grateful that I did-- after the first session, I had noticeable relief, could walk better and fell asleep immediately. My experience on…read more8.18.2010 left me damn near immobilized so I haven't been back since, and will NEVER be their customer again. I will also NEVER use a mall or airport "masseuse" either- that is how traumatic this experience was. I spent the next year in excruciating pain, going to PT and to a chiropractor because they damaged my sacroiliac joint. The only reason I didn't sue them was because there was an unexpected twist (pun intended) from this disaster: all of the physical therapy and chiropractic manipulations to address the damage this place did corrected the chronic issue that made me agree to have the massage in the first place. I waited a long time before posting this because I was conflicted. But for this catastrophe I would not have found the chiropractor (Kevin English in Santa Barbara, CA) who was able to resolve the issues they caused AND the other chronic problem.
