I very much appreciated Dr. Samuels at my initial evaluation. I like the fact he uses a great deal of health records technology which makes things easy to communicate and document for all future sessions. Unfortunately he is not able to physically meet all of my needs due to his own injuries. My second appointment went much better and he was able to really manipulate me using his tools and I left feeling like we were heading in the right direction. I also love that he's not trying to sell you any ancillary products and just stays within the scope of his practice. That's less and less common in the chiropractors I have seen over the years. I arrived at Dr. Samuels' office hunched over and sleep-deprived as a result of excruciating sciatica that had gone on for more than two weeks. I had consulted with medical doctors, visited an ER, attempted physical therapy exercises and taken a host of medications yet nothing had made a dent in the pain. Dr Samuels has definitely increased mobility in my spine and eliminated pain in the lumbar area. He has done this with technology, rather than manual correction, as I have osteoporosis and osteoarthritis and am wary of manual correction. I saw Dr Samuels when he was part of a larger practice, and now he's opened his own clinic in Pikesville. He spends a lot of time with you figuring out what's wrong and the best way to proceed with treatment. The clinic also has one of those amazing massage chairs! Overall, he's great. read more
