i have been working with Marble Law since May 2021. The first attorney did not file the correct paperwork for my case 2x! I was finally connected to Kenya, and she heard me out and helped get a new attorney... who still hasn't done anything. i had simple paperwork to file, and I was told excuse after excuse for months, or they just avoided responding to me at all. Kenya isn't responding anymore either, just keeps saying she's looking into it. My simple case was changed because the delay of filing, and now they want MORE money to assist me when they haven't done what I've paid for! i have trial in 2 weeks and my attorney won't help without Marble Law updating the contract, and Marble Law is not responding. Marble Law is by far the worst company I have ever worked with. I am currently in contact with BBB to report them. My lawyer was unprepared and unresponsive during my entire divorce. I spoke to her twice. Once in the beginning and then once the night before court at 10pm. The second call she ended because she said she had to go get ready for court and she wasn't ready. The judge called her out multiple times on not being prepared or having the correct documents. She and marble law are the reason I lost my kids. Please do not hire them you will regret it. I had to hire a new lawyer who I spoke with daily. Marble law has told me a manager would reach back out to me multiple times. I have still have not received a call. It has been a month. They are still trying to charge me and will not refund my money as they said the lawyer did the work. I fired marble law after my temp hearing. This company should be shut down. Uprofessional set of lawyers . They don't file documents or respond to them in a timely manner. You are better off going to a another attorney because they don't even have a phone number where you can contact customer service they only have a phone number where you can call and provide information to become a new client. That should've been the first red flag. If you are a current customer and you have a problem you have to submit a ticket and wait for a response within 24 to 48 hours. The attorneys seem to be contracted out and are only assigned to your case right before your hearing.\ we trusted them with a child support and paternity case and they received a response from the opposing party over three weeks ago and never reached out. If the opposing parties lawyer did not send us the letter in our own private mailbox we would've never known that there was a response. Now we only have a few days left to respond to the proposal and we are unable to get in contact with an attorney. This has been the most terrifying and stressful situation and I honestly do not recommend. Please do not look at the positive reviews and feel like you might be lucky you will not because I also saw the negative reviews and saw a few positive and said to myself that it must just be a coincidence. All the reviews and complains of having to run behind them are true. If you're looking for attorneys who are on top of their game and will win a case for you to stay very far away from this law firm! If you are considering using Marble Law, run the other direction. They prey on people looking for a more affordable way handle legal situations. The problem is that you are much better off paying larger retainer fees. In my case, I am trying to finalize a divorce that I filed for 2 years ago. No children involved, and very little to separate. Should have been a simple case. After my husband continued to ignore my attempts to settle on our own, I sought legal help. Not having thousands of dollars to put down on a retainer fee, I went this route. After MONTHS of my first attorney not giving my case any attention, I requested a new attorney. The next attorney was just as bad. I started working with Marble almost a year ago. Not one single thing has moved forward with my case. The second attorney finally filed a request for mediation, after I threw a fit. However, he did not even file that correctly, so the court date and money that went into that was wasted. I finally had enough, and requested to withdraw my case, so that I could find an attorney on my own who is willing to take care of my case. I was told today, that I would not receive a refund as them "settlement" portion of my case was completed at 100% and my "mediation" portion was completed at 75%. I sincerely hope that taking the time to warn others, I can save at least one other desperate person from falling victim to this company. read more

Earlier this year, I entered into a contract with you to assist me in filing for my divorce from my husband. I completed paperwork through Westlake Financial to cover the cost for the services. I was initially given one attorney who was nonresponsive after working with your customer service representative and I mean asked to change my review. I was assigned a different attorney to assist me with this transaction I was told that the transaction went up through filing the distribution of financials sometime in August. I received a letter below stating that your organization was withdrawing from New Jersey. This caused a huge hardship on me and my family as the current attorney that I was assigned became non-responsive to my inquiries and questions. I finally was able to get him on the phone he was at that point that he mentioned to me the marvel shared that they were no longer offering services in New Jersey and then I would have to come out of pocket additional funding for the transactions that I already paid for. I even contacted customer service representative Whitney on this matter and still have not heard from her as of the date of this email. This is not acceptable because I have not had the transaction completed and for the poor customer service that I've received over the last six months, I am asking for a billing adjustment. read more

I needed a lawyer so I called Marble Law but I was disappointed in doing so. They didn't even look into my case, just wanted $1500 to literally show up to a hearing of mine. I had to follow up with them multiple time, even after I was told they would check in with me weekly. I cancelled my services with them after I saw the writing on the wall. I cant even put stars for this law firm They caused nothing but stress and depression and now an over $2,000 charge for one thing they did! It was never explained throughly that all they would be doing was the starter paperwork for my custody case. I could hardly EVER get anyone on the phone from my lawyer or my team And when the lawyer says Are you sure you can win this? After the intital consultation I was worried but gave him a shot. I could only get ahold of one to two people and that was only after me constantly hounding them. When court was coming up and I was told there would be an additional charge for him showing up, I had a breakdown. I dont believe I should have to pay such an ungodly amount as a single mom trying to get her kids back and you did NOTHING but cause me more stress and anxiety to boot!! I hired Marble Law for my ongoing divorce to keep my stress level low and so far, it has been a nightmare. After the first consult in April 2023 the finance section was quick to reach out and charge me $4K for services which I gladly agreed upon. They assigned me a lawyer (Sydney Serrata) recently graduated from school (2 years), first red flag, who is completely unexperienced, lacks basic professional etiquette and horrible or nonexistent communications skills. I tried to work with her but no luck. As time pass and while receiving no consultation or services, I receive a call from the Finance department on 29 June 2023 informing me that I have a hearing the next day 30 June 2023, and If I wanted representation, I needed to pay an additional $6500. I quickly tried to contact my assigned lawyer with no luck...AGAIN...since she failed to inform me of the hearing. I called the Finance department and after looking at the lack of support I have been receiving they were so kind to discount the fee to $4,500. I was so upset that I decided not to have representation. On top of that I have send emails during this time to my assigned lawyer, maybe over 20, receiving answers or a one sentence email reply to maybe 3 of them, forced to call Marble Law Customer Service and as protocol dictates every time, they will provide an additional 72 hours to lawyer to respond and will consider a one liner email an official response. Fast forward to 31 August, were once again I called again to Marble Lay Customer Service, I finally was able to receive some help, from the customer service lady who put me in contact with the Paralegal Department who ultimately assist me with changing lawyers. Today 07 September 2023, I finally have a new lawyer but nevertheless the Finance team calls me quickly to charge me an additional $1500 for the new lawyer to be able to proceed with the Sworn Inventory and Appraisal form that my incompetent lawyer placed in the Agreement for Temporary Orders. In the meantime, I have been stuck in a place where I can't make personal decisions since the divorce is still pending and Marble Law continues to take my well-earned money for less than mediocre services. I'm a retired veteran with 22 years of service in the Army, I know how to endure bad service, hard times and stress, but this is at a whole different level of ineptitude and unprofessional behavior. I'm stuck here due to my own uninformed decision but will like to advise you reading this to just go get yourself a real lawyer firm who look after your benefits and not your savings account. my fiancé referred me to them. She said they had real good reviews. Unfortunately she didn't know where to look I was trying to bring my fiancé to United States her and her three children. They said they charge me a flat fee of $8250 I went ahead and paid it and then they sent me something to sign nowhere's on. It didn't say what they were going to do for me. It was all about family law and child disputes. The guy told me they're not attorneys, but an attorney would call me and tell me that everything was included. There were no hidden fees. and just go ahead and sign the paperwork I said no way there's no way I'm gonna sign something when I don't know what I'm getting and I gave them one week to give me proof on paper, but never did they do that finally they had an attorney called me from the East Coast a minute before their doors closed I picked up the phone they hung up I called back no answer I left a message all weekend no answer Monday comes which is today 2 May 2023. She says that I filed for my fiancé and her three children and there would be an additional $2000 filing Fee and this is what I'm talking about. They did nothing but lie $8250 was for what nobody could answer that. Luckily I never signed a thing so my bank will refund me all the money even if they try to steal from me which I'm sure they will. I'll give you guys an update soon. They never once sent it to me anything to say they sent it to my fiancé who is in Bucharest Romania she's not even a qualifier, nor was she on my credit card. They passed us around for a month to four different lawyers. Non of which actually called us about our case. We sent in all the paperwork before hand no one reviewed it! The day before the court date we finally get to talk to a lawyer who was assigned our case that day. He knew nothing about it! Showed up to court found out what it was really about and had his ex wife's lawyer take care of the paperwork instead of him. Turns out he didn't even need to be there. Stay away!!!!! Scam!!! They will take your money, with no service. Hired marble for a simple paternity test. when I spoke to the lawyer she assured me the process was fairly fast and they could get it done right away. Three months later the only thing they've done precisely is collect their funds. Impossible to reach out to your attorney(svapna trived) or paralegal. Everything goes through a ticket, and you have to wait to 5-7 days to get a an email with no real information. Called them multiple times, and I was never able to speak to my paralegal(erik. Paralegal stated on emails that my documents will be ready on the following week. Its been a Couple months and I haven't received a thing. I called to cancel my Case And get a refund, since no services were actually rendered. it's been a couple weeks now, i haven't received a refund, and aside of costumer service(which really doesn't do much aside of tell you that they will send an email to your paralegal and will have to wait 7-10 business days for a response.) you are really left in limbo to wander. Quick to take your money, that's about it. When collecting money you will have great communication with the accounting department, lawyer. Once hooked You will be left for dead. Never thought I would be scammed but there's always a first time, and you marble are great at it. Please read reviews prior to contracting them. An organization that appears to employ deceptive business practices and predatory sales tactics. Starting in June 2022, I had what I thought and assumed might be a promising initial experience with Marble Law organization. The beginning of the process was organized and professional, which looking back, makes a lot of sense because at that stage you're still being sold on the service itself. Just like any service, they give it the hard sell. I studied Entertainment Law, however, my personal situation had to do with Family Law, which is outside of my expertise, so I looked into Marble Law. I made it clear that I would only agree to seek services from Marble Law if it provided more than simply the standard filing of the paperwork since that was something I could do on my own. It would have been illogical for me to simply hire their organization on the basis of solely filing my documents when I was the one who filled out the bulk of the paperwork on my own and it was simply electronically filed by the Marble Law Counsel assigned to me, something I could have done on my own. My concern from the very beginning was having someone to handle the work that comes after the initial filing and seeing my case through to completion since I'm not familiar with Family Law in the Miami-Dade County court system and since I lacked the finances at the time to hire a local firm that works on retainer and billable hours. That is why Marble Law seemed appealing at the time. I was told at the time that the services provided via the flat rate fee, would cover everything and that it would include some court appearances if needed (or mediation between the two parties if it came to that in lieu of a court appearance), and that the process would include filing my counter as well as the process for alimony and seeking damages. I was provided legal advice and strategy by a Marble representative. I spoke with three individuals. The first individual outlined the process and the services and set up a call for speaking to the potential counsel. Prior to signing on with Marble Law, I only spoke with the potential counsel for my case once. The call took place on June 7th, 11:30 AM EST and it lasted 43 minutes and 38 seconds. I paid for that phone call separately and I have no issue with that charge since it was a separate fee that was explained to me in advance and I was provided a service, being the 43-minute consultation with the potential counsel. After that phone call, I spoke with a sales representative from Marble Law. The call took place on June 7th, 3:44 PM EST and lasted 19 minutes and 33 seconds. The representative answered my questions about the initial consultation call with the potential counsel and walked me through the steps of securing a loan through their affiliated vendor Wisetack. I took detailed notes of each interaction and thoroughly documented both correspondences on the off chance I would need it for future litigation. (I saw the earlier reviews here, which worried me) I was assured on both occasions that more than what was outlined in their later "Agreement" would be provided. I was pleased to hear that because that was my main concern. After signing the agreement on June 7th and taking out a loan via their recommended vendor Wisetack, I was never contacted via phone by the representing counsel again. I had to repeatedly reach out in the days before my filing deadline and after 6 emails and 2 calls, I finally received a response via email that my paperwork had been filed. Since then, I have not heard from or received any additional consultation or services from my counsel or Marble Law in any capacity. Essentially, the only action that has been taken was the initial consultation, which again I paid for separately, and the filing of my paperwork with the County court, which should have only totaled about $392.50, plus the $10 or $25 notarization fee and the $10 issuance of summons fee. Not only do I feel that I've been a victim of deceptive marketing practices and predatory sales tactics, but at the same time - no one has contacted me or provided me with any updates with regard to the filing or my case and in essence, I currently represent myself but have been charged and billed as though Marble Law is my representing counsel when according to the terms of the agreement, that is not the case. I signed the agreement on 06/07/22 and the other 2 parties just signed it today on 07/18/22, 41 days later and just a few hours prior to sending me an email that their services are "intended for general informational purposes only and that it does not constitute legal advice and is no substitute for consulting a licensed attorney." However this is not what was outlined or sold to me prior to our agreement and I was informed otherwise by representatives of their organization, which is why I chose them over a local firm or self-representation. I'm going to be seeking a refund or filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau. read more

Hired Marble Law to represent me for an emergency hearing and a final trial. Nothing but delays in getting me the correct services after clearly stating what was needed. Marble Law assigned me an attorney that was based out of HOUSTON, with the case in DENTON. I questioned that, but they claimed they would fly the attorney in from Houston and they do that all the time. Attorney was completely non-responsive to preparing for emergency hearing and CANCELLED MY EMERGENCY HEARING DUE TO ATTORNEY UNAVAILABILITY!!! Case manager Nakia failed to find me another attorney that represented in the Dallas area and asked me to give original attorney another chance, which I did, only to have same situation happen again, but this time they fired me. Completely unprofessional, unreliable, account mismanaged, nonresponsive and left my kids in a worse position that when I hired Marble Law. State Bar Complaint pending. read more

This is a long one but read this review and only use them if at your own risk. I hear this all the time "if i could rate it less than 1 star, i would". I cannot emphasize how poorly this organization is handled. My husband and I were looking for legal representation and after going back and forth with a representative for Marble, we were hopeful that during this stressful time everything would work out because we would be getting help. We paid 2100 upfront for this and then our case was transferred to a law firm. In order for them to even take a look at our case and paperwork, we had to fill out a detailed questionnaire (which we understood that ultimately would help us given that it would give us a chance to emphasize what we were looking for) and took us 2 hours to do. We received a call in which once again we were notified to submit the court paperwork and was done immediately. We don't hear back and finally reach out for an update. They reply with court documentation in which everything that was explained over the phone, via email and through the questionnaire was completely ignored. It was literally the exact opposite of what had been asked for. With the court deadline coming up to submit a response, we knew we did not have much time. My husband within an hour of receiving the paperwork to "approve", he replied and said the paperwork given was not at all what had been discussed we were looking for nor what we had spent time answering in detail in the questionnaire we had to do. Again, we tried to give them the time to at least get a response back and once again, we were not hearing back. My husband reached back out a couple of days later asking for another update. And to our surprise we were told we'd hear something back that same day given that our deadline was the next business day. And once again, we did not hear back from the law firm assigned. Then comes the day when we had to submit a response by, and nothing. My husband reaches out to Marble and the law firm that because there had not been a response that meant we had defaulted and therefore did not need their services anymore. We get a response that they can still submit an answer (we got this email 2 days after the deadline date). At this point, Marble lets us know they apologize for the lack of work the law firm assigned had done since they themselves could see nothing had been submitted. My husband is told they are very sorry that that was our experience with them and would be submitting a refund request. We are told to expect that refund within 7 to 10 business days. That came and went and got nothing. We called again and finally we are told it was "denied" because the law firm had done "50%" of the work. Not sure what the 50% stands for given that the paperwork submitted for approval was not at all what was asked for in any way shape or form. There are multiple emails and answers in the questionnaire in which they are informed exactly of what we are looking for and yet chose to do the completely opposite and then failed to get back to us in time for the deadline even though it was very clear the deadline was coming up. Now Marble is denying our refund. This is not pocket change for many nor is it for my husband and I, and even though there was lack of communication, lack of doing what they were hired for, lack of being able to submit the response by the court deadline, somehow it is US that have to deal with losing this money. We provided everything as soon as it was asked for. We paid. We tried being patient. I recommend you go somewhere else. This 2100 was not something we so easily had but had been saving up for months. And they dont care even though what we had paid to be done never was done. 06/28/2022 Update: I received a message from Kenya to reach out to her directly and we will do so. The initial phone call was great. After I paid them my money they completely ghosted me! NO COMMUNICATION. I spoke to a lawyer that I felt great about then after I sent the money I got an email saying someone else would be working on my case and they only gave me his email. I opened a divorce case in april 2022 paid 1800 dollars. No complexity to the divorce or kids involved both parties willing to sign, easy enough right. Marble files it once gets rejected I then don't hear from them again until August or so to find out that attempt failed and must be re filed once again. The case files one last time before it drags me in for a hearing. In November 2022, I go to the hearing and find out more information on my own about the incompetence of marble law in the states law practice. Awesome right now they should be able to finalize the divorce. Since everything is fixed from my end with the new information I gathered. Wrong marble then says "they're working out of their scope" and need an additional 3000 dollars for filing two forms to the court. They know at this point the divorce has all green lights to get finalized and will get finalized. Yet they had the audacity to request more money in one last final cash grab. In conclusion they wanted more money for their incompetence in getting the job done I originally paid them for. I'm in law school and this is a scam you pay for, worthless representation. read more

I signed on with Marble Law a while ago. My attorney Paisley Anderson was a complete failure, she made promise she did not keep. She did no research on my ex for the divorce at all. She did not respond for days or weeks after messaging unless I held payment. The Tennessee managing attorney Jeremy made promises and drug out a continuance that never got filed, even though he said how important it was to be filed with in 30 days. After they failed for almost 3 weeks to get my file corrected with the correct charges, then they wanted to hold me up for more money. In the end I have a trial date 6/6 and they have completely put me in a very bad situation. Jeremy sent a text saying they were going to file the continuance for free, of course after they drug it out and he could find a way out of it. This review will be all over the internet. This is so bad I am in the process of filing a bar association complaint and with the state attorney general. Do not use this company if you value your case or money. read more

I needed a family lawyer and decided to go with Marble Law. I was referred to a local lawyer and had a brief conversation about the issues I was having. I signed the contract with Marble back in August of 2022. I was informed that due to the nature of my request that filing the paperwork to the court would be put as a rush on their end. I went back and forth and back and forth for MONTHS with my case manager and all I kept hearing was "your documents are on your lawyers desk" or "I'll ask for a status and get back to you" but i wind up having to call every week to find anything out. As of December 27th there has been nothing filed with the courts on my behalf, all while Marble just keeps taking the fees for ZERO service I have been provided. I contacted Marble Law to terminate my services and I'm still waiting on January 18th as to that cancelation and how I'm getting a refund. Meanwhile I already obtained a lawyer and a week later filed my custody papers with the court. I DO NOT recommend Marble Law to anyone who is in need of a lawyer. read more

I had a bad experience with this company they charge you a lot for every little thing and they do not help the right way the customer really sucks they only call you to charge you but when you are calling them to do things that you need to get done for court you are alone they don't answer or give you a call back I almost lost my daughter because of them I was ruled out my evidence because of them and everything I asked to be told to the judge they ignored me they did whatever they wanted so because of them I kinda lost custody I shared custody but her dad has her most the time and my daughter just wants to come home I raised her for nine years her dad just popped in the picture that's that i had filled court papers forcing him to be a dad it took him nine years to come looking for her just because his child su is 28,000. she is alawys getting hurt while being under his supervision do not trust marvel law more like taking all ur money read more

Update. Kenya contacted me a couple of days after I left my review. She was very pleasant and seemed concerned about our issue. She had information on a proposed date of the mediation and let us know that instead of it being 3 days away like we were originally told, it was actually 10 days away. That was a little bit of a relief. There was no information on location or time of the mediation provided because she didn't know it. She was unsure of whether it had even actually been scheduled yet because no one has been able to reach my attorney. She gave us the number of a "lead paralegal" to contact that I guess was supposed to provide more information? That paralegal didn't know anything about the case and was unhelpful. The paralegal did say that we could send her the paperwork that we provided our lawyer with already and she could calculate the actual financial responsibility that my husband had for child support. She said she'd text us her email after we got off the phone. She didn't. After trying to contact her two additional times, no response. Then the day after the conversation with the paralegal we received a text to sign a new contract with a different lawyer because our current lawyer was no longer available. I don't think I've ever seen my husband so angry and hopeless! The mother of his child texted him the same day and told him that she never heard from the original lawyer about a day or time of the mediation. I'm in disbelief of how incredibly reckless with peoples lives that this company has been. I reached back out to Kenya yesterday to inform her of everything that transpired since our last conversation and that we were now in a worse situation now than when I first spoke to her. She returned my voicemail via text message and let me know that she would work on it and would call me with a solution by the end of the day. I didn't hear back from her. Keep in mind that our mediation that probably hasn't even been set up is on this coming Monday! I called her this morning and left a very irate voicemail because at this point my patience and professionalism has been completely depleted. We are being charged $10,000 for this atrocity that they call representation. That's in addition to $2,000 that I've already paid just for them to file paperwork. We loved Marble after finding it by chance due to needing a substitute lawyer for a child custody case ASAP after a very bad experience with Reidy Law. The process was simple and affordable which was a breath of fresh air after a nightmare experience. We immediately fell in love with the lawyer who fought so hard for us. He unfortunately was let go by Marble and we were given a replacement. She was very good at what she did and we had no complaints of her work in the court room but was very hard to get ahold of her and there were quite a few times of miscommunication that were just brushed under the rug. We didn't even get any correspondence from her the last court date and had to hear what happened from the other parent, which thankfully we were on better terms with to get the Information. After reviewing on a different spot we were contacted and told there would be some type if final closing overview email sent in 2-3 business days. Overall we are pleased. read more
