Thid law group, law firm, or whatever it is they call themselves, needs to work on better communication at the very least. It is no wonder they are poorly rated. Nobody seems to have any sense of urgency with getting back to potential clients. There is also a major lack of coverage in my area it seems. I initially spoke with someone by the name of Sareya, and they never called me back as promised, and didnt return my follow up calls. I then began dealing with a gentleman named Jeremiah, who also displayed poor responsiveness to follow up calls and text messages. After my initial call with Jeremiah on May 11th, he was unresponsive to follow up calls and text messages, and did not bother to get back to me until May 21st for my scheduled legal strategy sesssion. While he did send one brief message to follow up with me and confirm I spoke with the attorney as scheduled, he then called requesting to set up a time to discuss matters further, but never made contact to actually schedule said call. It was not until over a month later that he bothered to send a text asking if I still needed help with my case. When I requested an additional strategy session so I could get some legal questions answered, he stated that would be possible. I expected some sort of response to schedule, but Jeremiah never replied further to schedule the session. It was not until over another month had passed that I received a very generic email stating that they do not have an available attorney at this time and can not take my case. Im an educated woman, so I thought about filing myself but needed help with the law suit part. They are really quick to sell you but don't explain that you are ONLY paying to file. I sold my home my everything being told this would make the divorce easier having everything split I did my work and the court filing and dates never came. I was told my case was "lost" multiple times and was blamed on the courthouse...come to find out it's quit an easy thing to do myself. Finally got a court date for November, mind you hired her in March...father and I had split everything at this point, we had agreed on spousal and child support amounts, we're co-parenting in separate homes. Adriana never properly served the other party for our court appearance, it was called for a different date by the judge for Adriana to properly serve him the court date appearances...she sent them and then immediately after I was terminated as a client and expected to represent myself at my court hearing a week before Christmas! I initially contacted Marble Law because I liked the idea of their pay-as-you-go pricing structure. The idea of not needing to pay a large retainer sounded like a lifeline. Money is extremely tight for me, and I imagine most people who come to Marble Law are also facing some level of financial hardship. For a company like this to knowingly take advantage of people in that situation is appalling and completely unethical. They should not be in business. I paid the $50 consultation fee and was paired with an attorney who was said to have over 10 years of experience. During our call, he was kind and respectful and gave me more of his time than the 15 minutes I was originally scheduled for. I was genuinely thankful for that. However, I could immediately tell he wasn't the right fit for me or my case. This wasn't personal. He just lacked the level of assertiveness and aggressiveness that is absolutely necessary in my situation. I am up against a narcissist, and I cannot afford to work with someone who is passive or soft-spoken. I need an attorney who is fast-moving, detail-oriented, confident in court, and fully prepared to take immediate action without missing anything. My child's future and wellbeing are on the line, and there is no room for error. After that consultation, I reached out to Marble Law again and requested a new appointment with a different attorney. They agreed to set it up. I made that appointment and waited at the scheduled time for the new attorney to call. No one ever called me. I continued to wait for over two hours past the scheduled time, still nothing. Eventually, I was informed that the attorney I was supposed to speak with was currently in a courtroom handling a case. DO NOT USE THIS company. Very fraudulent in their actions. I set up with them to do a K1 visa and right from the beginning they were having communication issues and never set me up correctly. I had my initial meet with the lawyer a week later and had nothing prepared because they had never sent me anything. $2800 I paid up front and nothing. Then after the meet I spent 2 weeks with zero feedback or response from the lawyer. You are not given a number and have to email them through the service. If you call in they make you go through AI chat unless it's an emergency. You can never contact anyone on your team directly. If you do get someone on the phone they will tell you they are opening a ticket and someone will get back to you in 3 days. Unbelievable! I was finally able to speak to me paralegal assistance who was rude and then hung up on me. After this I requested to cancel service and get a refund. So far all they would do is refund $700 of my $2800 saying that was my deposit. I have had to file this as fraud with my bank. The representative handling the call mentioned that he could see in the notes that things "didn't work the first time," and from there his tone was dismissive and carried an attitude throughout the conversation. He ended the call by laughing and then abruptly hanging up. On my first call, another representative told me, "Well, if you don't trust our lawyers, then who are you going to trust?" I paid to go to final court which never happen because I resolved the issue outside of the courts myself, even typed of a document needed that me and the mother signed similar to what my lawyer would have done. When it was all said and done the total I paid for the (SERVICES) I was told they were completed but I have multiple emails explaining to marble things were not getting done by my lawyer. When i asked for a partial refund because we did not go to final court which would have been hours in the court room on top of other little services that I did because my lawyer was not doing her job I was denied and never notified neither phone or email, I had to call multiple times because no one could tell me anything smh on top of that I asked for a itemized list showing each (Service) they completed along with the cost beside it so if there were any kind of discrepancies it could be addressed, I was denied that right by Marble. It was a horrible experience and I would never refer them to anyone, go look at BBB and see all the complaints about people all saying the same thing, if 60 people are all telling the same story in same way shape or form that should speak volumes of this company.
