There are communication problems within this company, and it took Marble a long time to get things to my actual attorney who handled my case. That being said, they were willing to work with me to refund me for services not rendered, and also even contacted me to see what else they could to to rectify the situations. The Marble Law case managers do absolutely nothing, at least Paul Anzaldua did absolutely nothing towards my case yet probably still got paid for it. Update!!!! Whitney called and got things squared away with me in less than 24 hours!!! I got back on the plan and she is contacting the attorney to move forward! She is incredible!! Whitney thank you so so much. Her customer service I rate a 5 star!!! I was in desprate need of an adoption attorney and one that would work fast. I reached out to this company in hopes they would help me. I did get in touch with someone who explained how it worked and took a payment of $500.00 from me and the rest would be in monthly installments totalling a little over $6000.00. I was fine with this. this was August 17, 2022. I did not hear from anyone for a month so I reached out asking who my attorney was ( this was the same day that Marble attempted to process a payment from me). I could not understand why they wanted a payment when nothing had been done. I got a call from my case manager with Marble telling me my attorney would be in touch soon. I spoke to the attorney finally in September telling me she was going through some things and she would get back with me. NOTHING. I reached out to her paraglegal in DECEMBER. Who finally told me she was drafting my petition. All the while Marble still attempting to process their payment. Nothing was drafted, nothing was filed, no notice to the birth mom. Nothing. Then I get a call from the billing department asking for $1600.00. We get into the conversation that nothing has been done on my case in over 6 months.. I am told, someone will be getting in contact with me. I get an email that my new attorney will be getting in touch with me. Nothing for almost a week. Followed my another email from Marble that I now have a new attorney. This is the 3rd one. Great. I get an email from this attorney and loving that they have asked for intake information, etc. As soon as Marble finds out this attorney is ready to draft and finally file the petition they contact me wanting $1600.00 to proceed or they will have to advise the attorney not to proceed. I exlain that we do not have this much at one time and ask if now that something is being done can we please come to a new agreement of the $279.00 a month like initally agreed on. She asked me to give her a little bit and she will call me back. She does not call me back but instead Marble attempts a payment o $279.00, She calls me back a few days later to tell me no, the billing team needs 85 percent of the balance owed to continue. Yes I had the $279.00 but blocked them from taking it because I was waiting on a response. All I asked for was an agreement first that if the $279.00 was going to be drafted that a new contract will state that we will be proceeding with the new attorney. I did not want them to take my money only to tell me exactly what they did!!! Sorry cant proceed without 85% of the balance. Nothing was done on my case for almost 8 months!!! I just wanted a new agreement with this new attorney at a price I could afford. Now I have very little time to try to find someone to help me get this done before August of this year. The don't do anything when it comes to entering forms that pertain to your case, they tell you to do it yourself or they will call Marble Law to get you financed for thousands of dollars more. They charge more than it costs to pay a retainer fee. Don't be fooled by those monthly payments and they don't charge by the hour, because the debt is greater when they do not provide you with any legal help or proper representation. I am going to continue to give everyone an accurate review of this firm and I should have went with my better judgement and opted NOT to use them! This firm is a scam! They market themselves as a law firm but they are just a "firm" that sources you out to other attorneys and collect their fees. I asked SPECIFICALLY for assistance with a DIVORCE and CHILD CUSTODY matter when I initially called and mentioned divorce over and over during my call. I spoke with a fast talker (that should have been red flag #1) who was rushing me to sign up. When I spoke with an attorney after paying $50 for a consultation, I told the attorney specifically that I wanted to finalize my divorce and file for child custody mentioning multiple times I just want to wrap up the already filed divorced. She went back and told the representative what I needed, they gave me a price and paid it in CASH. After that attorney ghosted me for 3 weeks with NOTHING done, they gave me to another attorney who is now saying that my divorce was not included in the agreement just child custody. I've filed a BBB complaint and I will continue to file complaints with the CA Bar Association as well as a consumer complaint with the Attorney Generals office because this company should NOT be allowed to "practice" law in the state. Take my advice and seek counsel with a small firm not this attorney factory! All they will do is take your money. Thank GOD I have a Law Degree with Gould school of Law from USC and can handle things on my own, but I chose to pay for convenience so I didn't have to worry. Now all I am doing is chasing behind this firm for them to handle my case CORRECTLY so I can move on! When they gave me the price I ask them if what they charge is the complete money to finalize the case which is 2000 plus they responded yes. I had the worst experience. I started my process for a work visa in December, with the promise from my attorney that it will be a smooth process. From there, I got the worst treatment ever. From unanswered emails, to be begging someone to talk to me despite the prompt monthly payments I made. By the end, the attorney I was assigned hurriedly compiled my items and submitted with some documents missing. They then told me that they are done with their scope of work. Horrible Horrible Law Firm! Hired these people in August 2022 for a simple divorce with kids. After about a month I wanted an update so according to my initial over the phone meeting I'm supposed to download the Marble Law App?? Nothing!! Nobody contacted me for months after numerous and numerous times. So they drew money out of an account that wasn't on my profile. I called this 800 number and talked to an Alexis she was kind enough to put a hold on my account until someone reached out. Wendy my account manager reached out and I basically told her i thought they were very unprofessional because nobody contacted me about my case update on my divorce and I did no longer want them representing me, so of course my so called lawyer called me and of course said he could have my husband served by that Friday?? Mind you it was a week before the Christmas holidays. Fast forward to today , back and forth with Wendy, another payment out of an account and they still have not put in the paperwork to serve my husband! I went to my county office and guess what?? My name is still not in the system and I've been twice! Don't hire these people! I bette get all of my money! I have screened shot every text and every request for an update . I don't usually write reviews but I had to for Marble law because they are the most unhelpful, rude and dishonest group of people, from the lawyer assigned, all the way to customer service. After they get your money and get you to sign the contract, that's it! good luck with ever speaking to anyone again or getting honest answers or even them being responsive. It always took 3-4 days to get in contact with my lawyer and when I did she she was dishonest about the things that she did for my case. when I realized I was getting taken for a a ride, I terminated my contract, it's been 7 days and I still can't get an answer as to when I will be getting my refund. Searched her name in my inbox and here it is an automated generated email with no indication of the firm! It looks like a spam email with her first name and initial last! I don't usually open this kind of emails specially if I don't even know the name of the sender. Besides what to do with a custom generated email?! I was clearly told that a case manager will call me and initiate the case. So maybe call and introduce yourself first?! Then I received an email the same day from assigned attorney lol I can't trust that after 14 days that is promised to get my money back if unsatisfied, I would be able to get a hold of a single individual! I wasted 3 days and had 3 different meetings with reps/attorneys about my simple custody case. My case was scheduled a week out. At the consultation, I asked if this would be a problem with the limited timing. The rep promised that it would'nt present an issue. He stated that if it would present as a problem, they wouldnt even proceed with the next round of meetings. The second meeting with an attorney where she reviewed my case, confirmed the date and that someone would be able to take my case. Nobody up until this point was able to answer the questions I had, but promised I would get them answered with the next meeting. The third meeting (and all of which were during work hours) the rep explained that there would'nt be enough time to take on my case. (a 30 minute virtual case with no out of the ordinary things to investigate or ample preparation required. ) Needless to say Ive wasted time and money because of their miscommunication. Im back at square one with even less time to hire a lawyer. I will now have to represent myself due to their incompetence. If I could give zero stars I would they are a horrible misleading company who take advantage of people who need their help. There is hardly any communication and when there is it's always the same "I'll reach out and see what answers I can get" and then no reply, they do not live up to their promises and just push everything off until they deem they have done their "job". I would highly recommend you second guess using them for anything and just going to a local law office where you can sit with someone and have an actual person not 3 case managers who have no answers. They set me up for credit with a finance company and then gave me an attorney who was leaving for bereavement. I had to cancel services with them because my court date was approaching and I hadn't gotten any assistance from them. Once I communicated with Montana, my customer service rep, that I wanted to cancel services, she stopped communicating with me. I was charged for services that I never received. I have been asking them for proof of payment, a receipt or proof of services but they refuse to send it to me. Each time I put my request for a receipt in writing and I get a generic email back but never a receipt. I've about 5 emails and one reply had someone else's name on it!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM. YOUR CREDIT WILL TAKE A HIT!! My credit dropped over 100 points while I disputed with the credit bureaus. STAY AWAY FROM MARBLE AND CONCORD CREDIT!!
