I contacted a company called Marble Law on the internet and was put into contact with Chris Fordham out of Brandon. We had a conversation over the phone about doing a modification for alimony. Chris explained that Marble law does nickle dime me with hourly fees to handle my case, and that he would handle it from start to finish, he felt confident he could handle my case. He said that the office of Marble would contact me about the fee. The next day they called me and said it would cost $3000. I paid the $3000 and waited. I received a financial affidavit to fill out and I completed it the next day and sent it back. Then it was a long time (about 2 months)before I heard anything. I called and left messages. No response. I eventually left bad reviews on Facebook and questioned how to get a refund, and then received a call from a girl in the office that said the were ready to fill my case with the Court. Then I waited again about a month and did not receive any information. I called Marble laws number and was told that they were complete with my case. I was told the start to finish was for the paper filling and nothing else. Unless I wanted to give them more money. I was told it was covered in my contract. Of course they are legal expects and I am sure they are covered. But, I believe they took advantage of someone old and doesn't know the legal wording. I except that part of my failure, but as a legal office , this company is so deceptive and takes advantage of people that the know are basically helpless. Very bad representation of a honest company. Marble law in Arizona is a scam. DO NOT HIRE THEM! Their initial consultation, they will seem like the nicest, most professional firm, and they make you feel as if they are very invested in your case. They will make you believe that they will fight your case along side you, yet that is far from the truth. Once you are paired with an attorney, they are very hard to communicate with. They will not represent you in court. They charged $2,400 upfront fee which is significantly lower than most retainers but what you are paying for is nothing other than what you can do for free using the forms on court website. They literally used the court forms I downloaded for free out of the court website. If you want representation for trial there is a separate fee, even though in the initial consultation they made us believe that they would represent us. The same forms were sent three times via email to us for corrections and the fourth time it was sent still the same mistakes were on the form. They clearly did not even look at the corrections we sent them. We hired them in January and still today (March 16) they are working on the same forms that they sent us and with still the same mistakes. This is unbelievably unacceptable. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! DO NOT HIRE THEM. Either pay a bit more to retain a particular lawyer, go with a paralegal for lower fee or do it for free by using the forms in the courts website. read more

If Kenya was the overall service then I would rate Marble 6 stars. The only reason I updated my comment to 3 stars is because time, effort, investment, and lack of procedural preparation have critical effects on the real lives of real people. I believe in accountability and I hope Marble does improve this. I have absolutely no doubt that professionals like Kenya are a major step in the right direction. She promptly responded, completely investigated and resolved my grievances, with personal empathy and care. It's been almost a year and a half since I request their services. I keep making payment for a service that I am not receiving. I Went to court myself twice because they didn't assigned me an attorney. I also had to filed the paperwork to court by myself. Even getting $1,000 fee from court because no one showed up to a hearing date and no one notified me. No one answer my phone calls and last time I send an email it's been ignored and mark as spam . Thank god for virtual! The process in regards to getting started with Marble was fast and simple. I understand that some with divorces and some cases take longer than others. I did not know if my case was going to be one that would happen quickly. However, I got my updates when I asked for them, my team reached to me when they needed to. He was horrible and didn't do everything he was paid to do. I submitted my financial discloses in September 2021.Marble was also unresponsive.They said they would follow up with other attorneys until they finally issued me a new attorney in June 2023..They said they would do the paperwork and already had a agreement however my soft credit check was ok but charged me extra 20 -30 percent. Only because I cannot give 0 points. Marble Law, Aaron Smith, Esq handed off my case to Elizabeth Van Thiel, Esq. We had a good position to get legal guardianship of our niece. Instead, due to the WORST representation. The Declarations not properly prepared. Not only Is our neice in harms way today, but we are starting a far worse position than when we engaged with Marble Law. We paid full price upon signing. $4500. for Attny's that did not return our calls, and when they screwed up, quickly tried to charge us more, saying it was out of the scope. Don't waste your money OR your position. After they screwed up so badly, then they did not sign off in time for our new Attny to represent us and washed away the last piece of anything we had by not speaking up to let go of changing venue....... Worst experience EVER!!! I hope this helps you to not make the same mistake I did..... they will promise you to have your back, but you can't reach them by phone and the response time is the absolute worst. But Nothing compares to how they are in a courtroom, while they work 3 other cases and barely speak up for you. And oh yes, when they could have filed for an injunction, due to an interim judge poor decision. Instead they worked hard for the other side to remove a 2.5 year old from the only home she had ever known. I needed an attorney to reopen my child custody case and because I am a single mother, needed one to work with me on payment plans. I spoke to an intake person on the phone during my first conversation, who charged me $49 to speak with an attorney on the phone to consult with me. I was assigned to a lawyer and given an appointment, only to not hear from that lawyer ever. I was given an email stating they paired me with an attorney who doesn't represent my district and I would be referred to another one. A new lawyer was assigned and was given an appointment. When the new lawyer contacted me, I was immediately made to feel the smallest I have ever felt in my life, claiming I don't have a solid case or evidence that my child with special behavioral needs requires more stability because he is moving between counties every week and his teachers and doctors are agreeing with me that because he goes to school in my county, he should reside with me the majority of the time. I have requested my money back as I ended my phone call with Devin Mace because of how he treated me. I would have spent a great amount of money doing what is in the best interest of my child, this is not the lawyer or company to hire to handle your legal needs. read more

I had to hire a different attorney who was able to file the correct documents. After months of asking for a refund, I was told in writing that they would be refunded. 24 days ago I had contacted Marble to get a refund after realizing that no work had been done on my case. After some time I was able to get into contact with someone and they had promised me a full refund and to look out for it in 7-10 business days. Its well passed that and I came into contact with wisetack who says they have not received a ticket from marble and had no idea a refund was being issued. I have been yet again lied to by marble and no progress had been made on my refund. They promised ANOTHER 7-10 business days to get my refund instead yet a few days after I'm getting calls from wisetack again asking to continue paying my bill to marble yet again finding out to ticket is being made. Seems like a cycle that Marble falls into with lying and scamming. Instead of waiting for everything to fall into place I've decided to just report this company to the Better Business Bureau and looking for assistance with the local bar associates to file a claim. I've emailed marble at the line they give you with the bot replies on yelp, but there was no return. I have also emailed wisetack after they requested more info and a confirmation email of the refund that we gave them. Yet when I emailed them they denied any conversation whatsoever and said they can't help me. Seems like no one anywhere on both sides of these companies that are all ran by the same people it seems like have any idea whats going on what to do or why they are even trying. I initially contacted marble for two situations I signed up for their in house finance department Concordia that pretty much guarantees anyone even bad credit I was approved i signed the agreement because a marble representative told me in order to talk with a lawyer meaning just tell them my situation i have to sign.. i juggled around with different lawyers under their umbrella they assigned me to one but he was only going to represent me for one case so I told him to hold off while I talk to marble he was an outside lawyer at that.. that marble sometimes bring in so while im reaching out and they are giving me the run around having me call Concordia then marble.. the lawyer took upon himself to start the case and charged me 5900 dollars that i had no idea about..i decided to close my business with marble because of the run around they were putting me through and they told me ok well you owe 5900 dollars for basically nothing i did not get any service there was no consultation of my case nothing..but because i signed the agreement i guess they dont have to give me any service to charge me fees i guess me breathing air is what they are charging me for ..so there was an investigation by marble and found i owe over 700 dollars for no service this is their findings so now im disputing that situation hopefully this gets resolved i will never deal with marble lesson learned i wish i saw these reviews dont sign any agreement with them read more

After waiting time and time again and through two different attorneys of theirs nothing was every completed. After several explanations of what was needed still attempted to file the wrong items. Attorneys don't return calls and you constantly have to chase your tail with them. Quick to take your money but horrible at delivering any results. After 7 months deal waiting and waiting asked for a refund and still got the run around. Finally agreed to refund and they stated "someone " would call to finalize results and complete refund in 7-10 days. No one ever called just received an email stating the refund would process 7-10 days. 21 days later still no refund and impossible to get anyone on the phone. Incentive, horrible service, on a legal matter that was drug out over 7 months with no resolution. Would never recommend. read more
