They always have both authentic and replica military uniforms, helmets, gear, armor, and other items! They also have a great little museum type thing going on! I also love how friendly the staff are and how much they help me out! The staff are also able to help me figure what an item is if I don't recognize it. Overall a 10/10 experience every time I've went.

I think in the 12+ years I've been on Yelp that I have never once hit... maybe...until now. First time for everything haha. So, this store is interesting. I sadly compared it to the one in Idaho Falls...which honestly, I should never do because as far as I know, totally different owners and it's been years since I was last in I.F. So not even sure their army surplus store still exists. My roommate wanted new pants. I know how picky he is and exactly what he likes. So I suggested this store being that I had been in here a few times in the past. So the layout s great. It appears to be a huge store, but in actuality, it's not ALL that big. Still a great size, but it's narrow and goes straight back. They have a great selection of almost anything when it comes to military type clothing, outdoor clothing, tents, kayaks, etc. It's definitely a fun place to go through. However, it's super pricey! Like way pricier than I would have ever imagined especially seeing as so many of the clothes appear to be used. Not sure the ratio of clothes that are new vs used, but if you've been or plan on going, you'll see what I'm talking about. Also, the pants he was looking at is in this gigantic bin with shirts. Honestly, massive pain in the ass to sift through all of that just to never find a size or specific color. It was annoying to say the least. I get it, it's not a boutique on Rodeo Dr, but damn! The bin with the pants and shirts was overflowing to begin with and seemed like it was limited to what sizes were in there. Looking around at other things. Some things were priced decent, but overall, it's definitely on the pricier side of things. You think...army store! Ima find deals. Maybe one or two on small items. That's bout it. Maybe I'm crazy, who knows. I just expected something different. I know since 2020 prices on everything have skyrocketed (I won't mention any names lol) and over the past 4 years, I've been in there and have gradually watched prices jump. So at one time, it was that bad. Nowadays, just go somewhere else or at least check other options if price is a concern for you. The staff acted super weird with everyone. Not friendly at all. The cashiers seemed decent tho. However, dude walking around the store was... a tad too intense. Not sure if they have issues with theft, but I'm guessing.... Yes. Yes they do. They have signs on various bins around the store about being stupid and shoplifting. They need to realize tho, not all of us are in there to steal something. The majority of us normal, respectful, responsible people are there to shop and actually pay. So whoever the guy is who floats around the store, he should maybe take it down a notch or two. He made it almost incredibly uncomfortable to be in there. Even when I sat outside the dressing room, waiting for the roommate to show me the pants he was trying on, bro was walking around me and only me. I wanted to be like....legit sitting here in shorts, (what will I hide in them lol) and looking at my phone as I wait. Maybe shift your focus to the three guys that actually look like they definitely made it out of there with something. I was watching them more than he was. I legit thought or rather, believe they really made it out of there with something. Let's focus on the rando in shorts tho looking at his phone...while sitting in a chair lol Anyway, haha, it was an odd experience and one I'll never forget. I'll probably skip over this place from now on. I gave it the three stars because it really isn't THAT bad of a place. That guy and the prices are the complaints I have. I did enjoy their camping equipment and other outdoor items. Good selection there. But yeah, I guess go ahead and try it out, but if you're a dorky looking guy in shorts and a t-shirt..you just might be followed and then get a serious stare down lol. Thanks for reading, Yelpersquad! Cheers

Water shoes included were great. Our guide, Eli, was extraordinary. Professional, knowledgeable, funny, and warm, we all felt we were in good hands the entire time. Without being militant, he had us double-check our life vests, and reminded us while bull riding what to be mindful of. Wonderful way to spend the afternoon, we experienced the adventure of the rapids, the calm of the river when he let us know when and where it was safe to jump in, the beauty of the surrounding environment, good conversation about the history and nature of the river, and lots of laughs when winning splash battles with our family on a separate raft. It was our first time river rafting, and Eli was the perfect guide for us. So memorable, and our teen is already asking for the next trip. Cafe/store/grounds/changing areas/bathrooms/lockers were all clean, despite how busy it was and that there were so many people (and kids!) there. Breakfast burritos and ciabatta sandwiches were tasty, as were the cookies, muffins, and packaged ice cream. Complimentary coffee was a bonus. Staff were wonderful, especially in the cafe - accommodating, fun, and all-around solidly kind and wonderful people.

Ginger had to go out of her way to drive down river, beat us there, get into position, and take the pictures. Obviously that's a lot of effort, but the pictures came out great. Hunter, our guide, was just the coolest friendliest guy and made us all feel very welcome. Basically the vibes were just good and friendly and jokes were flying the whole time. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that's physically able to do it.

We've done many rafting trips over the years but this was the first time we've gotten suited up in a farmer john suit, water booties, and long sleeve waterproof shirt to combat the cold water. We have been in snow melt runs before so this was interesting but oh so great to be comfortable on the river. I was never cold and interestingly never too warm despite the layers. Sean follows the raft in a white water kayak to be a safety back up just in case and also snap some cool pics - also a first on a rafting trip and I thought it was awesome. Stephen did a great job navigating our raft and the collective group of us were all skilled enough to ensure we didn't tip over or fall out of the raft (except one person). We just loved it! We did the canyon stretch for 5 class 4 rapids in like 45 minutes. The trip felt like it went fast but it was so fun! Lunch was delicious, allergy sensitive which is always appreciated. It was nice to see this part of Idaho since we usually stay further south west due to where family lives when we visit. It was a treat to be on the rafting trip and catch some hot springs nearby and on the rafting trip. This river stretch includes Pine Flat hot springs but Kirkham is within a couple miles and part of a different run they offer as well. 100% recommend if you are looking for an awesome adventure with great people!

I emailed back and forth with Corey, the owner, and he was very accommodating and answered all my questions. The setup of the boat is ideal for hanging out with friends or family because of the circular layout and table in the center, plus having the big umbrella over the boat is really nice. It's like a really mellow party boat. We brought a cooler with drinks and food and made it a little dinner cruise. It was also effortless - they launched it for us and met us on the dock right as we brought it back so we didn't even have to tie it up, we just hopped off the boat and left.  Our kids absolutely loved it and one of them declared it in his top 3 experiences ever. They also liked that they could drive the boat themselves and make it do donuts. Our 10 year old wanted to leave his own review and wrote this: "This is a super fun and amazing activity for anyone to spend part of their day doing. Super comfortable and relaxing, doesn't get boring, and you're likely to get a lot of people complimenting the boat. You can also sit on the stairs and stick your feet in the water if you get hot. I would absolutely recommend this."
