I recently had my loved and cared for 1998 stern drive repaired at Prestige's service department…read more I had been to a competitor twice, and charged twice, to have this issue fixed, but all they had accomplished was to graciously accept my money and leave a huge amount of gear oil in my carpet and bilge. They were never able to explain what was causing my issue or what they had done to fix it. At Prestige I was informed about what was causing the issue, what they needed to do to fix it and given a reasonable estimate. They then completed the work in just a couple of days. That was great, but what really impressed me was when I went to pick up my boat. In the few days they had my boat, I had traded trucks. I just threw in the hitch that I had used to tow the boat with my old truck and when I got there realized the ball was much too high. I walked into the shop and asked a young man who was working in a boat that was much older and less cared for than mine if I could use a wrench and vice to flip the ball over in the hitch extension. He promptly hopped out of the boat he was working on, PUT ON HIS SHOES (which he had taken off so as to not track dirt and oil into a quite dirty boat), and swapped the hitch for me. Made me feel great about having these folks work on a boat that we care a great deal about. Mike N. Meridian

At our appointment, we felt very welcome they had a cute welcome sign with our name on it and Chad was very knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. There was no pressure to buy at that moment he gave us time to think about it and call at a later date when we had made up our mind. Once we knew it was the boat for us Chad helped us with all the paperwork and even added on a free Un winterization package and offered to take us out on the lake for the first time. We learned how to use our boat and explored a new to us lake. Honestly, I thought buying a used boat we would not get the service as if we bought a brand-new boat, but everyone at prestige treated us as if we bought a brand-new boat.

At the end of the float, Boise River Raft and Tube has a designated rented raft and equipment pick up spot, for easy dropping off of your equipment. It is nice not having to lug around the gear after soaking in the sun for a few hours. They also have a bus shuttle service which takes you back to the top after floating down to the bottom. Service is always great. The workers are friendly and have good knowledge on how to have a safe and fun floating experience. Pro Tip: For those not wanting to ride the bus back to the top and going in a group. Consider parking a vehicle at the bottom, piling into another vehicle, and then driving to the top. After you float down with your group, hop in the car at the bottom and pick up the vehicle at the top. Though the bus ride back to the top isn't anything to be feared and is a great option.

When we arrived, we discovered multiple problems, including a bad converter, defective batteries and electrical issues, a broken radio touchscreen, peeling paint around the bumper, and front tires that pulled hard and were severely choppy, making the motorhome unsafe to drive. Some repairs would take a week or longer. The motorhome was clearly not ready as promised, so we rejected it. We paid our own travel expenses both ways, and now Dennis Dillon RV is keeping our $3,000 deposit. We have tried to resolve this matter, but Quinton, the sales manager, has not returned our calls regarding the refund. We are extremely disappointed with this experience. Instead, we encountered numerous problems and are now fighting to get our deposit back.

It is absolutely beautiful out on the lake, and the views can't be beat. Here are some thoughts/recommendations for your visit: -The dock is NOT the place to fish with young children. It sways back and forth and kids are likely to fall in if they aren't watched carefully! Also be careful- there is lots of bird and deer poop on the dock! -It's hard to guess what might make the fish bite. Salmon eggs seemed to attract the most fish, but we still only caught one. We tried worms and fishing cheese as well. -The playground is really fun for kids, but the grassy area is filled with poop that make it hard to walk safely -The parking is so close to the lake, which was awesome!! Overall, we really enjoyed our experience here, and would recommend a visit! It's not a terribly far drive from Boise, either.

They did right by me! We recently moved to Kuna from Lake…read moreForest, California last November. We bought our boat brand new from Anglers Marine in Anaheim, California in 2013 and faithfully serviced it there since new. The boat has been used mostly in coastal off shore waters from Long Beach to San Clemente and occasionally in the Colorado River in Arizona and Nevada. Well maintained and serviced every 2-years from bow to stern and the trailer no matter what, we fixed it. Our recent saga begins last January 2023 when the boat ran hot in the driveway during a routine start up. I called to make an appointment for service and was told the 1st available service appointment was April; 3-months out. With no other option we waited. During the service it was determined a thermostat housing was needing to be replaced and it was on backorder. So we waited for the part to come in...waited and waited. Still on backorder and the boat in storage unusable we moved to Kuna Idaho. I brought the boat up and put it in storage here while we continued to wait for the backordered part...March 2024 started to show some decent weather so I reached out to Indian Creek Sports & Storage just about 3-miles from my house. There I met Troy who patiently listened to my sob story and with his seasoned experience and advice he convinced me to bring it in for a look as he suspected the water pump and not the thermostat housing was the problem...I asked him if I needed an appointment and he simply said..."go get your boat and bring it in"...I was shocked...so I did. The boat was there for about a week at which time the backordered thermostat housing from Mercury Marine had come in and I took it over and delivered it to them. A day or two later I got a call from Darren who introduced himself as the mechanic working on my boat and he told me the water pump was in bad shape and best to replace it with the thermostat housing and then everything will be correct with a baseline for further diagnosis if required and I agreed. A few days later Darren called me said the boat is ready and runs perfect! My boat wasn't there more than 2 weeks including the time it took to get the water pump and during that time I also met Steve, Chris and others who are all very pleasant, approachable and knowledgeable....Once I got my boat home I carefully examined the work and I can say it looks like a factory installation. Perfect. As happy as I am to have this year long odyssey finally over I'm more pleased to have a trusted team of Marine engine and propulsion technical advisors and mechanics only 3-miles from my house who do what they say and don't mind explaining things in natural language.....and that Darren is a Genius!

Because of this oversight, the entire lower unit almost fell off while I was out on the water with my wife and daughter. It was a terrifying experience that put my family in direct danger. When I took the boat back, instead of apologizing for the mistake, the owner was incredibly rude. He blamed my motor's custom design for the issue, even though the real problem was his shop's failure to secure it properly. He eventually fixed it, but then called me just to gripe and complain about how he "wasted his time" on a "dumb motor." A professional shop should know how to follow basic safety specs the first time. The owner's lack of accountability and his aggressive attitude are completely unacceptable. Save yourself the stress and the safety risk, take your boat somewhere else!
