Service department sucked. I know the Exact issue with my motorcycle, showed them the Exact two parts I need. And asked if they had any sources to see which specific part I needed of the two. All the guy keep answering was "you'll need to bring it in so we can diagnose the real issue" I told him I already know the issue and I know it's one of the two parts I showed him. And he just gave me the same answer, he didn't offer any help with price or availability of the parts. I knew what to expect of a dealership but I guess I was hoping they would beat the bad reputation, instead they just lived up to it. They were very good with communication and even submitted the estimate and billing to the tire shop. Very satisfied. I am submitting this complaint to document my experience with DDRV, which I believe reflects misleading business practices, inconsistent representations, unprofessional conduct, and failure to return a customer deposit. I initially contacted DDRV by phone regarding a specific motorhome listed for sale. During my first conversation with a salesperson, I asked whether the motorhome was owned by the dealership or listed on consignment, and whether she could provide background information about the vehicle. Instead of answering, the salesperson repeatedly stated that I could "make an offer," without addressing my questions. After attempting to clarify several times, I ended the conversation politely and moved on, as I was located in Washington State and there were many other dealerships between my location and Boise, Idaho. Approximately two minutes later, I received a call from a manager at DDRV asking what the dealership had done wrong. I explained my interaction, and he stated that this was "not how we do business." He then reassigned my inquiry to another salesperson. I was subsequently contacted by a different salesperson, with whom I had a productive discussion about the motorhome. Over the following period, I received calls from additional DDRV representatives. During one conversation, I was advised to research forming a "Montana LLC" as part of the purchase process. Based on this guidance, I formed an LLC at a cost of approximately $1,400. Within 24 hours, I was contacted again by DDRV and informed that the LLC structure would not be accepted unless the motorhome purchase price exceeded $150,000. This requirement was never disclosed previously. I explained that I had already incurred $1,400 in costs. DDRV agreed to reduce the purchase price by $1,400, and based on that concession, I agreed to proceed with the transaction. At DDRV's request, I provided a $3,000 deposit to move forward with the purchase. I informed DDRV that I already had financing available at 6.9% due to my strong credit. I was told that I would be required to use DDRV's financing so the dealership could "make money," as they claimed they were selling the motorhome at a loss. I was assured they could meet or beat my existing rate. Approximately 24 hours later, I was informed that DDRV could offer financing at 6.75%, and I agreed. I requested written confirmation of the financing terms. The documentation I received showed the correct purchase price but listed the interest rate as 7.0%. I immediately contacted my salesperson. He told me that rates change daily and not to worry. I then drove approximately eight hours to Boise, Idaho, and spent roughly two hours inspecting the motorhome. When I sat down to complete the paperwork, the financing documents listed an interest rate of 7.5%. I objected and stated that this was not the agreed-upon rate. When I presented written evidence showing a lower rate, the finance representative stated that the information was confidential and left the room. My salesperson returned and claimed the quoted rate was from "weeks ago." I pointed out that the message was dated eight days earlier. My companion, who was present, noted it was from the same month. The salesperson became agitated, accused us of questioning his integrity, and left the room. A sales manager then entered and stated that if he were in my position, he would have already signed the papers and "laughed all the way to the bank." He further stated that if I did not like the financing terms, I should leave and back out of the deal. All representatives then exited the room. After several minutes, they returned. When my companion stated that the situation felt like a bait-and-switch, all three DDRV representatives informed me that they would not sell me the motorhome and instructed me to leave the premises. Despite DDRV terminating the transaction and refusing to complete the sale, my $3,000 deposit has not been returned, and I am still awaiting reimbursement. Based on the totality of these events, I believe DDRV engaged in misleading representations regarding financing, applied undisclosed conditions mid-transaction, used pressure tactics, refused to complete the sale after I traveled a significant distance, and failed to return my deposit. As a single woman navigating a high-dollar financial transaction, I felt that the tone, body language, and statements used toward me were intended to pressure and intimidate me into accepting unfavorable terms. Once I asserted myself and declined to proceed under those conditions, the dealership abruptly terminated the transaction and instructed me to leave the premises. read more

I had flown 1400 miles to pick up a used RV. Upon my arrival there were numerous problems that were NOT disclosed - including a "check engine" light, loose front hood, inoperable front shade, dash A/C, etc. They offered no repairs or price reduction and stated take it or leave it. I asked to at least have the light code identified and their service tech just shut off the check engine light! So, after the purchase, the light came right back on as soon as I left the parking lot! I could not get up the mountain roads and was stranded on the shoulder. I had to get emergency repairs - turned out a mouse had eaten through wiring to two of the engine cylinders! This was a terrible, long and costly transaction due to their lack of disclosure and manipulation of check engine light! read more

I remember my first RM80 dirt racing cycle was $618.00 I paid in cash I'm unsure how much a 80cc dirt bike is now, of course technology has improved water pumpers and suspension But I find myself buying parts on occasion only providing the female counter person is available in parts She is the only one who actually seems to care enough to actually find the parts I need. She should be paid more than the rest,but the world ain't changing because I say it should. Anyway if your full of good credit, or actually have a great paying job then get your ass to DDRV they don't seem to need your money,but they are in the business for the rich. I am writing to file a formal complaint against Dennis Dillon RV located in Boise, Idaho, regarding my disappointing experience with both their service and communication. I visited Dennis Dillon RV to test drive a motorhome that I was considering purchasing. During the test drive, the dealership had left several doors open on the outside of the unit. While pulling off the road to secure the doors, I accidentally hit a street sign. I fully acknowledge that I was at fault for the collision and took responsibility for the damages. As a result, I paid 85% of the damages and then proceeded with purchasing the motorhome. I also filed a report with the state police regarding the incident, as required. However, months later, I was contacted by the state regarding the damage to the street sign, and I learned that they were seeking compensation for the sign's repair. Instead of reaching out to me directly to discuss this matter, Dennis Dillon RV chose to route the issue through their legal department. I received a letter demanding payment, which left me frustrated and confused as I had already paid for the majority of the damage to the motorhome. Moreover, I was not informed by Dennis Dillon RV that they did not carry insurance for test drives. Had I known this, I would have approached the situation differently. I also believe that the dealership should have communicated with me directly about the sign damage, offering assistance or at least discussing how we could handle the restitution to the state. I understand that I am ultimately responsible for the accident, but I believe Dennis Dillon RV should share some of the responsibility, especially since the vehicle I was driving had unsecured doors that caused the incident. Given that I had to stop and secure the doors during the test drive, I would have appreciated more transparency and support from the dealership, rather than receiving a legal letter demanding payment. I have already paid the bill for the damage to the street sign, but I wanted to bring this matter to your attention in hopes that others are informed of the potential challenges they may face if they test drive a vehicle at Dennis Dillon RV. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone who may find themselves in a similar situation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. ALL BEWARE!!!! DDRV is the most corrupt group of individuals you could ever deal with, no one in Idaho or anywhere should ever do business with DDRV. There's more than one reason the Westminster location in California closed down. (Unethical) Cancel a warranty, jump through their hoops and then don't get your money, rightfully coming to you. Jerry Mangeac blamed BMO and passed the buck to Tonia Millspaugh, whose title is AFTERMARKET WARRANTY, another unethical employee at DDRV. She claimed to send the funds to BMO and DDRV didn't have my funds. Why would you send my money to BMO, when the trailer was paid off? Follow your own quote "policy" or perhaps if Jerry asked for proof of payoff and did his job, you'd known the loan was sufficed. Once getting attorneys involved and BMO, come to find out DDRV was holding my money hostage and didn't wanna pay. Needless to say I was overnighted a check for the INCORRECT amount, after months of litigation from their useless attorney Tracy Crane and Tricia Travis. Don't say the word "attorney" to DAN in service, he'll say, "oh you said the A word, I got to go now." Hang up on you, as if we are children. What a cowardly act. No one answers the phone unless you call sales, of course they want to sale you something but no other employee at DDRV appears to want to do a job they are apparently paid to do. Last but not least, check your inverter serial numbers as for DDRV likes to install used and or old inverters on your new units. The email dialogue from all these facts above would be priceless to see for all. DO yourself, family, a favor and DO NOT do business with these unethical people and watch them go out of business, just like the Westminster location. CUSTOMERS BEWARE: DO NOT GO HERE!!!! We had the most horrific experience with DDRV. Our van was in their shop for insurance repairs. What they were supposed to out and put back in so the body shop could do their work, was not broken. BUT it came came to us not only broken but with multiple fire hazards. They cut and exposed LIVE wires. They taped up wires vs seal in an area of moisture They screwed the electrical and fridge isn't working. Broke lights. Lost parts. Drilled new holes in the floor and misaligned cabinets. We have spent countless hours fixing the work that "their best mechanic did" Absolutely not only unacceptable, neglect able work but also hazardous!!! read more

Took my 2 motorcycles there for the first time for oil changes and tune ups. $250 oil changes and performed service that was not authorized and forced to pay for it. Also on the 2nd bike a carb clean was requested but during subsequent rides it is obvious that was never done. Lesson learned. read more

In my attempts to understand the timeline on the repairs Jason refused to answer my specific questions, continually talked over me and finally hung up the phone in mid conversation. Full disclosure - I only began the process with DDRV, eventually, due to distance alone, went with a more local dealer (I live states away, in southern NV.) But I wanted to put a good word in for the sales department. I spent a great deal of time considering possibilities and pursuing several possible RVs at a number of dealerships I originally called about a very specific unit I really fell in love with found on an aggregator site, which, unfortunately, had been sold just prior to my contacting them (it was the only one I was able to find all up and down the west coast). Sales Associate Jacob was a huge help- though they didn't have my unit, he absolutely went the extra mile to really find some great alternatives, all while doing an awesome job of hearing my preferences and not only suggesting, but doing full video tours of other fitting options I hadn't considered! Super friendly, helpful, and easy to reach, as well as being very forthright and honest about the downsides I might encounter- a huge mark of integrity for a sales rep! Unfortunately, I live several states away, so I ultimately decided to stay local in case I ran into any issues, BUT, had it been for the service alone, I cannot recommend Jacob, and therefore my experience with sales enough, and would have gladly purchased from them. They also have a great selection of units and some unexpected gems! As for pricing, after researching and scoping out literally over a hundred new and used units, their prices are very competitive and reasonable compared to similar dealers, in my experience. They are absolutely worth contacting if you're in the market for a great RV, especially if you are anywhere near the ID area. Even with a decent distance shipping, they may be a better deal than you'd find nearby. Definitely worth reaching out if you're in the market. Though I can't speak to their repair/service department, etc, if my experience is any indicator, they are absolutely worth checking out! Recommend! read more

When I explained i had one in an hour, i was advised they needed more time to get everything right. They have always been honest and listened to concerns dealing with warrantee issues and made it right - I had a water leak on a new Micro Minnie it took a while for them to find where it was coming from but they never gave up, found it and fixed it. They offered to box my personal items up so they could get it on the lot ASAP. When I went back for my personal items they were all lost-- except for my portable BBQ which a manager had been using in their back lot! They refused to take responsibility even when caught red-handed with my BBQ. I cannot believe how unprofessional this dealership is! read more

DDRV or Dennis Dillion RV in Boise, ID from my experience is a very high-pressure RV dealer. Let me say I am happy with the trailer we bought, but not the sales process. I feel compelled to warn you about dealing with DDRV. They use a deposit scam to keep you from canceling the sale. They request a large deposit, for me it was $3000 where other dealers, like Thompson RV out of Pendleton Oregon, give your deposit back without question. Their deposit was $1000 and was refunded immediately after I could not cancel the sale with DDRV. DDRV use a form called the Product Order and Work Authorization or POWA. This form is sent out after I made a deposit. The POWA form states the deposit is nonrefundable, but the salesman will tell you that you can back out of the sale should you don't like the financing. I did complain about the high interest rate and requested my deposit back. The response was to lower the rate a 1/2 a point. I said I still wanted to cancel the deal. The second response was to lower the price $5000 and lower the interest rate 1.25 points. Still no refund on my deposit. The deal seemed ok, so we agreed to the financing. That was the kiss of death. The refund was now moved to the down payment and my deposit was officially nonrefundable. If I did not buy the trailer at this point, DDRV according to the POWA form was going to keep my $3000 deposit. So, feeling forced to buy the trailer we did move forward with the deal and bought the trailer sight unseen, with the exception of two walk though videos, as we were out of state. So, my recommendation, should you want to buy a trailer from DDRV, do not put a deposit down unless you are VERY, VERY, VERY sure you want to buy the trailer. Also, do not put such a large deposit down. At most $1000 or what you are willing to forfeit if you cancel the deal. Be sure to request the POWA form before you give any money to the dealer. Or better yet, check out Thompson RV in Pendleton Oregon, ask for Casey. You may pay a bit more, but you will have an honest deal with a great dealership. read more

This is the worst RV dealership we have ever dealt with. They tell you one thing and then back peddle when you call them out. We canceled our deal with them. And the sales manager Jeremy called and TRIED!!! to make it right. We we're already pre approved and ready to go with our bank. When Jeremy made a new offer to us we agreed. I said, so I can call my bank and have them cut you a check. He told us " no this offer is only if you finance with us. We said no, and moved on. They sold me a pre-owned trailer that they didn't inspect properly. The air conditioner didn't work first trip, heater didn't work, water lines were opposite and the shower hoses was off. Every trip we had we had problems. Every time we used it we either had a blow out, damaged wear to tire. Repeatedly we told the dealership. I purchased the extended warranty and additional tire coverage. Check your warranties they don't cover much. My axle is bent and its my belief they sold it to me without throughly inspecting the trailer or they would have caught these issues. My inspection report provided by Dennis dillon is blank. I've tried for over 2 months to request theirs. No response. I called and asked for the manager left a very detailed message for my call. I didn't know it was Joseph Muller as the manager. He didn't call me he emailed my husband because he dealt with him on the past issue. He knows what the issue is because I left a message and emailed him no response now for over a month. Don't purchase a pre-owned vehicle from them. You're putting your life at risk. The warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on and Dennis dillon won't respond to you should you need help. Warranty company only open 9 to 5 Monday through Friday. Ridiculous run around if you break down after hours and don't get pre authorization to tow your vehicle off the freeway. Joseph Muller service manager is evasive and non responsive. Filed complaint with Better Business Bureau. I've spent more time and money broken down repairing a trailer that should have been inspected and repaired before resale. Update to response: Hi Quintin, this is Kimberly Hepperle. This is my cell number. It's concerning as a client what I've been though since purchasing an RV from Dennis Dillon. I left a very detailed message for Joe Mueller over a month ago. However, I never received any communication back. He called my husband, although I left my message clearly outlining the purpose of my call, what I am looking for, what portfolio insurance has stated regarding our current claim and my phone number. In addition to the phone message I also piggy backed on an email he sent my husband. Needless to say I don't appreciate my life being in peril, lack of communication from the dealership and having to be my own advocate against portfolio insurance and their denial of my claim without inspection. A gentleman named Quintin from Dennis Dillon made a PC response to my review but didn't respond to my text message. Their culture of ignoring the client is cultivated from the management down. They have no customer service and no desire to communicate with prior customers who are left without representation in California. If it were an option, zero stars. Let me just cut to the chase, save time and money and go to Carls cycles instead. The entire staff has actual mush for brains here. Parts center for one, never answers the f-ing phone. And when you walk in there's always at least 2-3 guys sitting with their thumbs in their ass behind the counter. (Oh and only walk in if you have an extra 10 minutes to spare. You have to wait for them to watch each other finish playing with themselves before they even acknowledge your existence.) Second, if you purchase an off road vehicle of any kind be prepared to wait at least 5 months to get your warranty canceled. Yeah I typed that right, not 5 months to get it back after you sell the vehicle. 5 months for these retards to get it cancelled, after you call them 4 times to check on the progress of the cancellation. We came here and first off, they were busy and although we told the receptionist we just wanted to walk around their lot and "look" at what they had, we were "made" to be escorted. The "salesman" that came to us seemed to be "put out" especially since we were "honest" enough to tell him we were just "looking." Then when we told him we wanted to see the Class "C" models, he wouldn't even offer us a ride in one of the many golf carts they had sitting right outside the doorway we exited and so we walked to the back forty. He then proceeded to rush us through showing us the ones "he" wanted to show us, and seemed even more put out. We were not impressed with the only make of Class C they carry and noticed they were all in really poor condition, e.g., dirty, moldings etc. not kept up, etc. Upon our walk back to the building, the salesman kept expounding to us how he "doesn't normally do door entry walk-throughs" and how he has sold 7 Class A's to one guy and how people from all over the country call "him" even Tom Hanks, and basically just kept saying how totally awesome he is....blah, blah, blah. We were totally convinced that THIS is not where we will be purchasing our RV from. The day before this experience, we were at Camping World and had the nicest salesman that was not put off by the mere fact that we just wanted to "look." He also took his time and drove us around their lot and showed us the various models of Class C's they carry. Never making us feel hurried, or unwanted there (like we felt at DDRV). He was very kind and gracious and so we decided we WILL be going back to CW when we are ready to purchase. Lesson to ALL sales people....treat every customer as though they have a million dollars in their bank account and could pay cash for anything on your lot. also we secured a good deal on our purchase, it all went downhill from there. the upselling is pretty common i suppose, but they take it to another level. 2 items that needed to be addressed before picking it up were not, and we were given a promissory note stating that it will be done as soon as they get the parts. 3 weeks later, they told me to bring it in, which i did, along with a couple more concerns i uncovered during our 1 and only outing. a broken usb outlet, which i thought they could just repair while fixing the 2 items they promised already and a question in regards to a toggle switch. fast forward 6 weeks and the promised items nor the usb outlet are repaired. they still have my rv and once i get it back, DDRV is dead to me and anyone i know and can reach with this cautionary tale of truly poor customer service and untrustworthy people who make promises that they will not keep. in writing no less. oh, and i had to give it 1 star in order to post, but they dont deserve even a 'not good' rating, as i feel their service is below that. read more

We purchased a 2023 Micro Minnie FLX from DDRV in Boise, ID in April 2023. From our experience with our sales professional, Robert to our financing officer Jerry. We had what we would sum up as outstanding customer service. We have purchased a number of RV's and certainly feel like this was our best experience. To continue the same quality and professional experience we returned to have warranty items addressed and Jerry our original finance person really s showed up for us and made us feel like we were valued and an important customer even after the sale. Mike is our service advocate and through the entire process of review, communication with manufacturers, and final repairs his communication with us was extremely responsive and we truly felt he was our advocate to repair and service our new RV. We picked up our repaired trailer today and although we keep thinking the "other foot will drop" and be let down, amazingly we have not! I would highly recommend anyone we felt with at DDRV. Although we didn't get to meet the repair team fixing our trailer they too did quality work. Outstanding sales and service. Tom Handy asked if I'd put down a deposit so that they could hold the RV for me while my escrow closes. I asked "what is the process of recieving my deposit back if we couldn't work out a deal?". Tom Handy assured me that if we could not work out a deal and something where to go awry, he would simply refund my deposit back to my credit card. 10 days later, when my escrow closed, I reached out to Tom Handy to start negotiating price. We were unable to come to a deal. I asked for my deposit back. Tom Handy turned confrontational and accused me of lying and being dishonest, and holding the RV for 3 weeks (it had been 10 days). Tom Handy refused to refund my $500 deposit, and said he was entitled to my money, and asked that i never contact him again. I immediately filled a fraud dispute with my credit card company, and I immediately reached out to Tom Handy's general manager Neil Foster. Neil assured me he would refund my deposit. Unhappy with my visit to this establishment. Cannot recommend anyone using their service department. Clerk was rude and not helpful. I understand not having availability but at least he could have been nice about it. Maybe recommend alternatives to someone not from this area and in desperate need of a resolution to a problem that could be life threatening. I know everyone has issues, but if your responsibility is customer service, at the least you could do is be respectful and /or kind. That was not my experience today. read more

We bought a motorhome from Dennis Dilon RV in Boise Idaho in October of 2021. 1) We took it camping the first week we had it. At 6:00 am the propane leak detector went off. We found the leak after getting home. DDRV claimed they pressure tested it twice before we got it. 2) It is now the end of December 2021 and we still do not have a valid Title. The state claims DDRV hasn't sent in the paperwork. DDRV claims they have twice, but the state has lost it. We have called DDRV 4 times to get them to follow up with the state. They have told us they will but so far to no avail. 3) I called today and talked to Jeremy (sales manager). He again said he would help but then told me I had a bad attitude... I guess Jeremy thinks it ok to buy a $90k vehicle and then just let it sit in the drive because it can't be registered or plated.... read more

Not sure what this place is about. It's EXTREMELY hard to get into the place since the convoluted road to it is closed from one direction, so there's only one way in. I was interested in talking to someone about their motorcycles because I'm in the market. I spent probably fifteen minutes inside walking around looking at everything, looking at all the people that work there doing this and doing that. In the time I was there not one single person said a single word to me, didn't even look at me, and that includes the receptionist at the front desk - coming in and leaving - not one word. I'm not sure why they're even there if they don't want to talk to prospective customers coming through their front door. But I do know for sure I will NEVER waste my time going there again. How does a business STAY IN BUSINESS with no customer service? Maybe they think they have enough customers already. read more
