Gas is usually only about a penny more than other gas stations in the area like Gate and Racetrac. Sometimes, when traffic is busy on Dunn Avenue, it's easier to stop here and pay the extra penny rather than trying to cross over to the other side of the road and stop somewhere. Unless you're just wanting to make a quick stop for gas because it's convenient, I'd go to the Gate or Racetrac because you'll find a lot more in those stores, they're a lot bigger, and they are a lot cleaner.

They have all the latest gadgets gas stations/convenience stores seem to be getting nowadays like milkshake machines. They even have a blood pressure machine in here... now that is definitely a first! There's a nice selection of hot food items; always, it always irks me that they always seem to be out of tamales no matter what time of day it is. They also have the ever popular Beer Igloo. Ton of gas pumps, but because they are so busy, it's not uncommon to have to wait for a pump. There are always several employees working, but for whatever reason, it seems when I go to the register there's only one employee there with like 10 people in line. Is it really that difficult for another employee to come to one of the other registers? Yes, I'll keep stopping here because we drive by often and are always in need of something. But I'm just not a huge fan of this Gate.

A lot of pumps with plenty of space in between so you're not all jammed in next to one another. We get gas here quite often and we've never had to wait for a pump. Gas prices are competitive with this area of town. This Gate has been here for about a year now and I'm amazed at how clean both the inside of the store is and also the outside near (and by) all the pumps. Inside you'll find all the bells and whistles of the new gas stations/convenience store. Hot food items, sandwiches, milkshake machine (really good milkshakes too), and the shining star which is the froyo machines and bar! Since it's open 24/7, I can't tell you the number of times I've had the hubby run get me froyo in the middle of the time. That's my absolutely favourite thing about this Gate. FROYO!!!! YESSSSS!!!! Went inside and it was a discombobulated mess people delivering pallets of product no organized operations - no clear lines of who was next - I simply walked up to an open cashier - then was quickly reprimanded by the cashier who said that I needed to get in line so I asked several people and asked were they at the end of the line. I did not know there was an order- I actually did not end up buying the newspapers because now I was on the far end and then the same cashier waves me over and said you're next so I walked back and he threw my items in the bag. I had to tell him three times how much on what pump ... Never greeted me never looked at me was totally rude, so I said how was your day I asked him for my receipt. He then asked did I need anything I said my receipt so he threw in the bag didn't even close the bag.- I said "Thank you" Gracias - and told him He was not helpful at all. Even…read morethough the convenience store is small, they do get pretty busy and don't have many pumps, so finding a pump can, at times, be challenging. The parking lot is clean. There's a car wash and you'll also find an air pump here. As I said, the convenience store is small. The selection of items is not very large. If you just need to grab a drink or a small snack, you're good. The store is surprisingly clean. I'm not entirely sure if there are bathrooms here. While I was in the store, I didn't notice them, but I also wasn't looking for them. There's a possibility they may be located outside and I've just never seen them, but again, I've never looked for them. If I'm in need of a restroom, I go a bit farther down the street to the Gate Station or the 7-Eleven. I also go to one of those places if I'm needing drinks or snacks. If I'm just needing gas, this place is as good as any to get it. Especially since it's a Shell and I can use my Winn Dixie Rewards Card here to get my gasoline discount.

This gas station is pretty old and has definitely seen better days…read more The convenience store is pretty small, but you'll find the usual snacks of chips, drinks, etc. Just don't expect a huge selection. There are only four pumps, but you shouldn't have to wait for one. A car can pull on either side of the pump, so eight cars can get to a pump at one time. Gas is usually about $.5 cents a gallon more here than at the larger RaceTrac and Gate stations down the street. But sometimes, like today, I'm not in the mood for the crowds at the big stations, so I will just pop by here real quick. It's also not uncommon for the card readers to be down on the pumps, so you may have to go inside. I do remember about 15 years ago when this was a Hess Station and I would stop here all the time for gas. Back then. The big gas stations weren't around on Dunn Avenue and this was the place with the cheapest gas. It was really a pain to get access to a pump back then. It's unfortunate that all Sunoco did was change the signage. It would have been nice if they would have done some upgrades. The employees here are super friendly!

Poor repair and maintenance…read more Bathroom marked out of order but wasn't. Was not particularly clean but worked. Pumps incredibly slow, 15+ minutes and tank not filled yet. We gave up and left. On the high side, friendly staff.
