And it has a large selection of just about everything you would expect. Where it gets low marks..LOW.. is Customer Service. It is horrific! The people are in no hurry to assist you, or ring you up. They would much rather talk to each other or text on their phones than do their job. And it's shocking when someone says hello or thank you. It's obvious none of them want to be there and it is a real downer , when all you need is a coke and you get treated like a pain in the a$$. Yet i still go there.. 24/7 ... must be why.

Unfortunately though the 'Pay-at-the-Pump" feature won't give you a receipt and just tells you to go see the clerk for a receipt. Kinda defeats the concept of pay-at-the-pump.

When traveling by car, gas is high enough without scrambling at the last minute to find a place to sleep before you hit the road again. Since I didn't know the area, I had to drain my iPhone AND gas tank trying to locate another place. When you are a woman alone, you want some place that is well-lit, near a bathroom, and a lot of business coming and going to prevent break-ins or the chance of getting raped. I had become reliant on the Flying J or Pilot, and now I can't. I also understand that one bought out the other, so the ban on overnight parking is probably standard now. Although I didn't go inside, I noticed helpful items from the lot including the car wash, air station, and ice. Everything went smoothly during my visit, but the pump directed me inside for a receipt. I'm not sure if this spot, right on the south east corner of the intersection with Southport Road, will be allowed to stand. But in the meantime, it is very conveniently located for these two busy roads. Of course, getting out and across traffic during rush hour is a challenge, but with a bit of planning, the location should work for most drivers. There are multiple bays for vehicles to pull into. Not all have diesel available, so if that's what you need, then you have to be selective. All the pumps have seals to help protect the credit card readers from being tampered with, and that's appreciated too. Because of the layout, upon leaving, I had to drive around the building to get turned around to face the street. Maybe they want you to consider the car wash one last time after being prompted on the card reader/pump. Anyway, the place was pretty clean and the gas was competitively priced. The pump worked well and I didn't have to wait all day to get my car fueled and have my receipt in hand. Review #3061
