I set a New Years Resolution not to spend my points until the last day of the year to see how many I save and I am doing pretty good. This one is a smaller gas station that doesn't even carry my husbands Cigarettes USA GOLD and the price of a 24 oz Pabst Blue Ribbon was $2.09 and we pay $1.09 for it in West Virginia so I felt a little price gouge but hey the gas was cheaper by .20 cents per gallon and that was the main reason for my stop BESIDES the POINTS!!!

You don't really expect a truck stop in the middle of nowhere out here on the highway, I-77 that is, south of 70, and I guess most don't, as very few people use it for this reason. So this particular truck stop is usually pretty quiet and it's definitely more geared towards truckers than travelers, because that's who uses this road. I'm glad it's here and it helps, even though it's a chain truck stop. So all in all, this is a good truck stop in the middle of nowhere where you wouldn't really expect a truck stop.

Love's in GENERAL are really good travel stops, and typically have great mechanics and techs…read more. Although there are a handful of there that don't, but this isn't one of THEM. I don't usually spend the night at Love's, there are other truck stops that I frequent, but I stayed at this one before and as of right now I'm getting a steer tire replaced. I pulled in, and there was absolutely nobody in either one of the bays, So I told the technician I needed a steer tire, and it's also a plus that my company has an account with them so I also get tire discounts. I feel more at ease when I see older technicians in the shops. Sometimes experience can't be beat, especially for important repairs. While I was waiting for my tire to be replaced, I went inside to the McDonald's. The employees there are some of the most polite employees I've ever met at a McDonald's in my life!!! Hahaha! I come thru here average weekly. This Loves in West Virginia gets pretty packed at night so make sure to park early. It's not small…read morebut not big either so just park early if possible. The inside was pretty clean and no wait for showers when I went to take one. The cashier was pretty knowledgeable in answering my questions about the area. All the prices were reasonable to me with the items I bought and parking lot well maintained. I will definitely stop here again!
