Local habitant here: I was sitting in my car at the red light…read moreintersection directly facing the front facade of this Shell station (E side of I-71/I-75 exit 186) and happened to notice a somewhat small blue on white sign reading: FREE AIR. After a slight adjustment in my trajectory, I pulled directly in front of the air hose projecting through the front wall of the building alongside the bagged ice unit, grabbed my pressure gauge from the glove box, exited the car and found an intact, long-enough hose with a beat-up but functional air dispenser head which was connected to an actual working air compressor. Turns out I did not need FREE AIR at this time, but GOOD TO KNOW availability. For fuel reference, there are several branded gas stations off this exit and seemingly the prices per gallon are identically too high about 98% of the time.

I went in as a regular and I did ask if I could leave it there Because I knew my son-in-law wouldn't be able to get to it for about three days which saved me a pretty big bill in towing. They were so kind and understanding about it. I stopped in the next day and they didn't make me feel embarrassed or anything. They just treated me like the loyal customer and like I would expect a friend to treat me. This is what I would want from my employees and especially anyone under distress. They all three deserve recognition because it wasn't only this but every other time I've been in there Even if it's been a bad day their smiles and personalities and great Customer Service always make me leave their feeling good. Cons: small location, if it's a busy time of day and you're claustrophobic don't go inside. If you are used to food in the gas station and wand a grab and go lunch this ain't it. Needs updated, shelving, register, doors....it's just an old place and shows. My biggest problem with this location is that every other night it's closed or open, the hours seem to be inconsistent. It is supposedly a 24 hr place but that seems to change by the day/week and when it's closed the pumps are also off. Parking is not to hot if you are only going to get drinks or anything besides fuel. Yes there are parking spots but they are in inconvenient places.
