While the car was no longer filthy, it still had a thin layer of grime on it, which is is not noticeable on the paint, but was very easy to see on the windshield where the wipers don't reach. I felt the grit on my hood with my fingers. Maybe if I had kept my car a little cleaner on the outside and not waited so long between washes, this pass through might have been acceptable.
