The papusas are so good. They are coupled with the slightly vinegary slightly salty cabbage slaw. The homemade dipping sauce and hot sauce make everything complete. The owners and staff are delightful though there can be a bit of language problem for an anglo like me. My lack of spanish doesn't get in the way of ordering and preparing the food accurately. Place looked great but we didn't have the opportunity to eat there. Everything online and on the door sign indicated they were open for breakfast /brunch at 9:00 am. We walked in at 9:10 but no one was there. I said, "Hello?" To be greeted by a sweet lady who didn't understand me but told me they were not open and she couldn't tell me what time they would be ready to serve. I'm so happy there is an authentic place for me to get pupusas! Hands down the best I've had considering we moved from a place that had endless options for pupusas. I always get the loroco and chicharron pupusas. At first I was kinda skeptic about the cabbage not being submerged in the liquids (since that's how I had it in the past) but it still holds the flavor good. The sweet salsa was a game changer for me. I never had it til I came here and it's a must have on your pupusas. When we first sat down, the owner came up to the table after our order was taken and asked if we wanted chips and guac. He made it fresh and how we wanted it, since I'm not too big on spice he had the jalapeños on the side for my husband. It was flavored so well that we actually ate it with our pupusas too. First time visiting, but we will be going again soon. I'm not real familiar with Central American food but I do visit and love the food of Puerto Rico, this is similar. We had the guacamole, grilled steak, and fried pork chunks all were served quickly and at the right temperature. The service was great - they were immediately attentive. Lighting could be adjusted, maybe dimmed a little and there was initially no music but they were working on it. Great food, great service, can't wait to go again! read more

This Honduran/Salvadoran restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner all 7 days of the week, and although it can take a while to get your food when they're busy, it's well worth the wait! Owned by a husband & wife team with the wife running the kitchen, the food is all made fresh, from scratch, and to order. They also have a selection of fresh horchata and tropical fruit juices including passion fruit (maracuya), tamarind (tamarindo), and hibiscus (jamaica), which are all delicious! The space itself is simple, clean, and open, with large windows that let in lots of natural light and the wait staff was kind and attentive. Amazing new restaurant in Collierville! The owners and wait staff were welcoming and friendly- we were immediately made to feel right at home. All the food was fresh & made from scratch. We started with guacamole and chips- so tasty. Extra spicy pickled onions & habaneros were brought as a condiment & we loved it. For entrees, our party of 5 ordered 3 different El Salvadoran pupusas, steak tacos, shrimp tacos, pork chops, and chicken tacos. Everything we ordered was nothing short of amazing.
