Food quality: 5 stars- everyone enjoyed the food that I preselected for a buffet style lunch. Banquet food has the potential to be bland and boring, but Fox Hills delivered resturant quality food that I would happily order again. Everything was set up at the desired time and the staff made it seamless, so as not to disturb our meeting. You can tell that they do a lot of banquets and have the details dialed in. Value: I priced out options from a few area venues before choosing Fox Hills. The menu of options and food are straightforward and good value. It's not cheap, but the quality for money made it a good fit for me. Not having for worry about separate vendors and invoices made it simple. I've planned a fair number of large events, and this is a bigger deal than most newbies think. Atmosphere: The venue is classy enough to host a formal reception and comfortable enough for business casual. I felt comfortable having my group of business owners use all of the facilities. The view from the rooms is beautiful. Golf: With multiple courses to choose from, this really makes Fox Hills stand out compared to the local completion. There is a scenic course for every skill level. Overall: I've hosted events at multiple venues, including Top Golf. While I've had good experiences elsewhere, Fox Hills checks a lot of boxes and I would recommend them to a friend. Northville Hills Golf Course was designed by Arnold Palmer and is currently regarded as one of the…read moretop 50 public golf courses in Michigan. It lives up to that billing. The course is stunningly beautiful and immaculately maintained. You can tell a lot of work went into sculpting each hole. I can only describe it as thoughtful, creative, and unique. Heck, even the time I spent in the sand was lovely. You'll have to pick each shot carefully as the rolling terrain, marshland, and generous bunkers can quickly get you into trouble. The course forced me to use every club in my bag at least once. It was exciting and challenging. The greens are pro level fast but roll true. They were also surprisingly hard. Several times I looked in vain to find the divot from my approach shot. Pace of play was decent. We caught up to the group in front of us and had to wait occasionally, but we didn't mind. There was no drink cart when we were out, but at the turn they offered to pack us a cooler of beers if we liked. It was a pleasure and I'd love to play here as much as possible.

Just my buddies, my clubs, perfectly trimmed greens and fairways, the sounds of nature, the mosquito's, and for some reason I can't stop thinking about Tiger Woods after all the scandal publicity!! When my golf buddies and I head out for the links we are usually drawn to Tanglewood, even though there are about 100 other golf courses in between us. I think its the whole package, perfectly kept greens and fairways, friendly staff, and the golf carts aren't all hoopty. My favorite hole is west 8, it's shaped like the Michigan glove, and has the mini Mackinac bridge to get to the green. It's kinda cool, not to mention I usually par or birdie it so quite naturally I'll like it the most. My philosophy is, if the course is top notch the green fee shouldn't matter. It's $49 for 18 with a cart... hold on, hold on... yeah it's a little pricey but trust me it's worth every penny. They do have spring and fall rates like all the other clubs do, and is priced the same as them. Which means... if your gonna spend the duckets to play, you might as well go to a nice course. The club house is really nice and often times they have some sort of wedding or banquet going on, which tells you how nice it really is. After you have failed to achieve par for the course, take a load off in the Tanglewood restaurant and have some cocktails and some great food. Try one of their burgers or the ribs. Really good!

There are some areas with sidewalks that could use TLC and edging, but all and all the dog parks have the lawns done nicely. Ocassionally rain causes mud puddles, but outside of that there is a lot of field in the areas. The dog park gets pretty busy around 5:30-7 or so. If you have a dog that doesn't do well with a bunch of dogs, I'd stay away from this time. Most dogs are good and get along well with others. Some dogs just don't care for other dogs and that's ok as long as the owner is there. Too many times owners are too busy socializing and don't keep an eye on their dogs. The owner knows their dog exhibits certain behaviors yet doesn't pay attention to the dog at all. I fear something bad will happen. The trash cans should be emptied more often. It's nice they have bags and receptacles all over. Watch as you walk around because there can be quite a bit of poop around.

A lot of goofy & happy dogs running around socializing and having a good time. The people who come here are nice and friendly & understanding. I have not seen a single "aggressive dog" just a few dogs who are talkative or like to play rough which is kind of like how my husky is. No one really gives you a hard time and most dogs here are disciplined. It's always a good time honestly. My dogs can run infinitely, I'm serious.. I've stayed here for 4 hours a few times and she could still run. I take my dogs here so I can exercise myself, and when I get tired it's time to go. They keep the place maintained nice. Everyone cleans up after there pup & people are respectful of others. It does get muddy on rainy days, but they do try to keep the grass trimmed. In the winter the sign says it closes at 7 but I come here frequently after 6:30 and sometimes stay a little after 7 with no hassle. I recommend bringing a bowl and gallon of water so your pup doesn't get dehydrated, there is also plenty of garbage bins and seating areas so you can have a comfortable experience. No food or treats. Also be aware of kennel cough, it's not a bad thing but it does exist and if you don't want your pup to get it, then don't take it to public places. I hope my review makes you excited to go. I love dogs.

The staff is always cordial and very friendly, our meeting normally goes for about two hours, which includes a great dinner, which is always served nice and hot. I read a few reviews about their spa nights and wine nights, so I may have to come back and check it out for myself. Nothing like a good spa day with tasting their wine. There's always plenty of parking and the grounds always look very well kept. This is one event we always look forward to coming to every year.
