Bella performed the services for me during my first visit to the Apple Valley salon. Like the other estheticians I've had elsewhere, Bella was very friendly and professional. Out of four experiences I've had now, I must admit Bella's attention to detail was easily superior to the others. I've had two wax treatments and this was my second sugaring session. After she was finished I was surprised how little time it took her to be so thorough! My skin was somehow much less sensitive than after my last sugaring session, too. Bella truly seems to know how to do what she does SO well. If or when I book at Apple Valley again I'll definitely try to book an appointment with Bella. The results were very good!

For the second appointment, I arrived 10 minutes early and was then notified that they were running about 10 minutes late, which I completely understood. However, I ended up waiting for approximately 50 minutes, only to find out that there was still another person ahead of me. I ultimately had to leave. It would have been much more professional and respectful of my time if I had been notified before arriving that they were significantly behind schedule. I understand that delays happen, but communication is important. This experience was very unprofessional and could have been handled much better.

Note: this review is from over a year ago, I was afraid to write it because the man I've been…read moreworking with made it a point to tell me that he found my business yelp page and I was worried he would try to sabotage it. I found Minnetonka Wholesale Salon Equipment while I was looking for barber chair for my new shop. Finding my chair was easy as I did all of my browsing online and just ordered it through W.S.E. I specifically worked with a man named Less who was very unhelpful. When I placed my order for my over $1000 barber chair he told me that it would take 5-7 business days to get the chair and then he'd deliver it to me in St. Paul so I planned accordingly and ordered it 10 full business days before I opened my door for business. Well guess what, 10 business days flew by and I called Less to ask what the update was (he tells you to call him, he does not call you) and his response was "You typical millennials never write anything down, I knew this would happen, I said (insert what this guy thought he had told me)" So here I am, doors open for business with no barber chair. I finally received my barber chair 15 business days after my order. Less dropped it off and did not check for any kind of damage to my chair. When I unwrapped it it was very clear the chair had been dropped on its side and the lever to lean clients back did not work. Less had to turn around, pick it back up and get me a new one which took another 18 whooping business days because of the upholstery I chose to go with was out of stock. Could this have been the original reason why I didn't get it on time the first time? Anyways you think alright, this time it's gotta be right. NOPE! He showed up with the second chair and left... what do you know, there was a chemical on the chair that had eaten away the chrome on the sides. This time he didn't have to take the chair but order replacement arms for the chair which took more time to get. Also, my chair about a year after having it wasn't leaning my clients back. I've got a warranty on my chair so I called Less on a Thursday to have him come and fix it and he said he didn't have his schedule near him to book an appointment to come and fix it and he was out of town all weekend and Monday and if he forgets to call me Tuesday, that I should call him and book something................. when I was able to reconnect with him he told me it would be two weeks for him to come fix it. Nothing like running a business with broken equipment. What I'm getting at is if you're working on opening up a salon DO NOT BUY FEOM WHOLESALE SALON EQUIPMENT. You will be treated poorly and not get what you pay for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He happily agreed to an on-site appointment despite the early morning (6 am). The appointment was confirmed a few days before the big day. When the day arrived, 6 am came and went with no word from Lawkong. I attempted to text and call many times with no response. Ultimately, I had to give up and head to my ceremony site at 8 am as we had a 10:30 am ceremony. He called on my way to the site claiming he was in a fender bender and was too shook up to contact me. I was appalled and deeply hurt. As it was my wedding day, I see absolutely no reason why he could not have returned any of my attempts to communicate with him over the past couple of hours to alert me of the supposed accident. If he had been en route, I should've been one of the first people he called. I wouldn't say he ruined my day as I was marrying the love of my life, but I was deeply disappointed and left in a horrible position on my wedding day. He said he would pay for the hair extensions I purchased that I can't return, but after two checks being lost in the mail, I declined a 3rd attempt at repayment.
