A neighbor had told me about Rick and Maple Leaf when I was having shoulder pain. My husband had gone there too and was pleased with his treatment. I have now completed my PT and feel much better. This was the first time I've ever had physical therapy. I do however take my disabled brother to therapy 3x a week at various facilities and have been doing so for over a year so I have something to compare it to. If my brother was here instead of Philadelphia I would definitely take him to MLPT. I suppose the facility not being brand new would be a turnoff to some people but the quality of care will make up for it. Everyone at MLPT was very professional and attentive. Everyone will be working with you. It seems like a different approach then the UPenn/Good Shepard facility where I take my brother. One therapist works solely works with him. Everyone at ML knows where you are in your therapy and actively assists you. My family physician also has his own practice. He is affiliated with a larger chain but his office is run much the same as ML. Living in a smaller town this independent healthcare where you see the same people year after year is what I'm used to and I appreciate the personal care. Rick and Jack are well educated and dedicated to what they do. Most importantly, my shoulder feels great. I personally wouldn't go anywhere else and would recommend them to anyone. read more

I was scheduled for an evaluation at 7pm. I show up at 7pm and check in. 7:15 comes and goes. 7:30 comes and goes. At 7:45 I ask how much longer it's going to be. I'm told that the therapist likes to do evals when there are no other patients in the back for privacy. The receptionist goes back to see how much longer. Comes back and says 10-15 minutes longer. I asked for my script so I could just leave. Why would I be scheduled at 7pm when they knew I wouldn't be seen until after 8? I wasted an hour sitting in excruciatingly uncomfortable chairs with horrible back pain for nothing. read more

Probably the worst health care I received...ever. The equipment is outdated. The staff is hardly any help leaving you standing around wondering what activity to do next. They are very unorganized at the front desk to say the least. The physical therapist, along with 3/4 of the staff should be retired. The PT they did give me hardly helped my ailment and the staff didn't seem to care. Don't waste your time. Go to pretty much anyone else with a pulse. They should be your last choice. The best part of Maple Leaf PT is the clean bathroom and the candy jar. read more
