My previous comments still stand. I never thought I'd still be coming here (well over a year since…read moreI started), but it's a testament to my trainer, Christine, and her skills, encouragement and professionalism. She keeps my workouts fun and interesting. I would give her six stars. Why should you come here? Because it's cheaper than seeing a psychiatrist. Haha. No really, I feel so much better after a session! All the stress of the work day melts away and I get some "me" time. I will tell you that over time I can see the way my body has changed: more defined shoulders, higher/firmer butt and leaner legs. Their location on Ellis is closer to work, so I can walk there, which is good, because the parking lot is small. The huge plate glass window in the front sometimes feels like a fishbowl. Still feels a little claustrophobic when multiple trainers are there with their students, like "don't go too far back," so I'm sticking with 4 stars.

Option B: go to Bell's Bodies, pay more money, and have extremely dedicated, personable, intelligent, healthy, motivational, experienced trainers provide you with customized sessions that WILL help you achieve/exceed your goals. Bell's Bodies is more than a building filled with trainers, clients, and exercise equipment. It's a lifestyle, a community, a source of support, a place where lives are transformed!

Bodyblast personal training…read more I have been with the gym for about 3weeks. The gym experience, all around has been great. The Coaches and trainer have taken the time to explain and guide you at every step. The gym availability is great for busy people.I would recommend any one who needs to make a life change and the accountability aspect to come see them. They are all so warm and welcoming.

I signed up for BodyBlast twice when it was housed in Weston Fitness, and both times I had a…read morefantastic experience. The program includes nutrition counseling, a meal plan, and personal training, all tailored to specific goals. From what I've seen of other programs, BB is unique in that at no point will you be told, "You're a female, so you shouldn't ____," and the training is not All BOSU All The Time. There's some real weight, valuable weight training from trainers who have actually studied how the body works and didn't just download a certificate from the internet. My first time with BB, because I was interested in fat loss I was given a high protein-low carb diet, and because I was interested in limiting my intake of animal protein Stephen offered a modified vegan plan. Then I was matched with a trainer who made me feel 100% comfortable as a gym newbie, and who showed me a lot of useful exercises including how to properly perform a squat. He also let me know plenty of times that it was OK if I had one cheat meal per week and didn't lecture when I told him it was pizza. I didn't start seeing real results until much later in that year, when I was long off the official program and began treatment for hypothyroidism and PCOS, but I took what I learned from them - especially the importance of form - and it changed my body in surprising ways. I was the fat kid growing up, so to be told I "looked athletic" and "looked like I worked out" was shocking. A couple of years later, I decided I wanted to start lifting heavy and went back for more. This time, I told Stephen I wanted to learn deadlifts and barbell squats, and he immediately pointed to a trainer who was excited about training a girl to lift heavy things. This trainer showed me a lot of good strength exercises, got me on a 5x5 program, and maniacally laughed as he loaded up weights for me. I saw incredible results in a short time - both in strength gain and fat loss. For a number of reasons that have nothing to do with BB, I've had a tough time maintaining a routine for a couple of years, but I'm back in action these days and still keeping in mind the things that BB taught me: lift heavy, lift properly, eat protein, watch the carbs, keep it up. I may not be a stunning before and after montage - and I may never be - but this program truly did change my life.

They only answer things by email, even "urgent" issues have to be emailed. After calling and leaving voicemails for three weeks, they only called back after an email was sent. Oh also, there's two SJAC facilities within 5 miles of each other, so be sure you choose the correct one. Very upset at this whole experience.

He admitted he all he did was check people in and knew nothing else. We sat directly next to the front desk at the stools closest to the pool for 15 minutes without hearing her name called. I figured "maybe they are running behind" I asked again and this time the front desk guy states she should have been with Gianna Papa. I thought to myself "Why was this information not provided originally???" He pointed out Gianna and I walked over to ask if she had called the 11:30 appointments yet. By this time it was approximately 11:50/11:55. Gianna said she called my daughter's name "twice" and no one answered so she just moved on to her other 2 students. She blamed us saying " the other girls heard their names called " meaning we weren't paying attention. Gianna then called Alek Combs over who continued to blame us stating "Gianna called her name" and "why did we wait so long to ask about our lessons if we were just sitting here?" Gianna and Alek lacked professionalism and blamed us. They took zero responsibility for running their shifts and their lack of accountability for their students. I have no faith in their abilities as instructors/coaches/ temporary guardians of my daughter while she would be under supervision in the pool. As me and Alek continued back and forth, Gianna stood there and watched. She was NOT watching the two other girls who were under her care. Because of this, their father got upset by the situation as well, which he rightfully should have. But instead of directing his frustration towards Gianna and Alek he decided to direct to me which escalated the situation further. I chose to be the only responsible individual and I removed Alek from Gianna and the pool to speak with him and access the management email address. Alek was tone deaf to the entire situation not realizing he had been blaming me and a 5 year old girl standing there waiting to swim. Alek offered to give her lessons in 30 mins to then make up for everything but as we sat they're waiting for that additional time he realized he had another appointment cancelled on us and wasted our time even further. End summary: We showed up on time, sat around for and hour, got blamed for not speaking up or listening, my daughter cried and I almost had an altercation with another parent. We wouldn't consider returning based on the fact that the instructors feel that they addressed it properly. We don't feel confident their attitude would change. There is no clear document given to a new student stating what is needed and how the classes work. No one told anyone, my wife or mother, that an instructor would be shouting from across a noisy pool at a 5 year old little girl. Wouldn't you think it would be beneficial to make sure all children heard their name by WALKING up to the front desk to make sure. This wasn't a class of 30 kids... it was 3 kids total. Not hard to make sure everyone was there. Ridiculous. The sheer attitude and response from the instructors is deplorable and in front of small children of all things. This isn't how you treat customers. Gianna and Alek were responsible for my daughters sadness and my frustration. We will expect a full refund.
