We checked in and went through security with ease. They have renovated the airport so it's very clean and has a few more places to spend your time ( and your money ) at. My Gf who is a Riders fan, purchased a jacket for 100$. I saw some great carry on luggage, but at 150$ was a bit too pricy. *Tip* when flying West Jet, first bag is free. if your bag is over the 50 pound limit - be prepared to pay 50-59$ extra - so better off bringing a second bag ! Second bag is only 21$

Flying into Canada has its perks, but here I was flying to Regina, Saskatchewan just because I had…read moresome business to attend to in the city. Plus, I enjoy the small city town vibe that Regina had to offer. The 5th annual Saskatchewan Credit Unions Queen City marathon was being held on the 2nd Sunday in September and it was better to fly directly into Regina instead of Saskatoon. I flew Delta airlines in and out of Regina on this trip, which I believe is the only U.S. Airline to service Regina international airport. The airport itself was indeed an international airport, since it has flights to and from the United States. Although it's designed international, it's still a small regional airport, due to its size and number of departure gates. It's definitely similar to the regional airports in the United States. Just smaller and tight packed for your flying experience in and out of Regina. The Regina Saskatchewan international airport has the basic essentials of any airport in Canada and middle America. The best part is that the rental car counter is in the terminal, next to the arrivals / baggage claim, and the actual lot of cars is just a short walk outside the terminal. You could return the car 1 hour to departure and still make it to your gate with plenty of time to sit and relax for your flight. The arrival process was rather fun, since we all were given the Canadian customs form on the plane to fill out. We arrived and funneled into the border customs area, where we were processed. My time here was rather fast, under 5 minutes, and I was on my way to the rental car counter, out of the airport, and to my hotel for the weekend ahead. They asked more questions than that of other border security officials ask, presumably that Regina is a smaller airport and the risk of anything wrong is certainly heightened. The time it took to get off the plane, through border security, to the car rental counter, and into the rental car took at most 30 minutes. I thought it would have been longer, but I guess I was wrong. Be aware to keep your US Passport or any identification with you at all times. It really sucks if you lose it somewhere! The Regina international airport is organized and functional at the fame time, even at 4:30am, it was already good to go. The airport business is really 24/7 and they cater to anyone and everyone passing through, for business or pleasure. The departure area is quite interesting, like a kiosk of a few gates huddled together, but when you start boarding, you enter a long hall way and it's like going to the movie theater where you need to enter the correct jetway number for the aircraft. Kind of cute in a neat way. The airport itself has even a Subway restaurant kiosk in the arrivals / baggage claim area, which is kind of cool too. Whatever your travels has you here in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, best bet would be to fly here directly. Wouldn't hurt to price compare neighboring cities for the best price either. It's a cute regional airport that you can get in and out quickly and safely. Just be sure you have your luggage and travel documents in check! Safe travels! @ 35,000 feet Support local! A

The tomatoe soup should come in a double or triple like a good scotch. It is so flavourful and textured. Any item on the menu is worth a try and you will rarely not want to repeat the selection. He has catered several events for me and all items were complemented greatly by my guests. Price is great as well and quality and service are rated at the top of the scale. Give them a try for lunch and then order your next event through Chris. You will not be disappointed.

But I specifically got chippers with garlic aoli and he got coleslaw. I also got the chocolate almond torte ($12) to go. We had a fun time guessing the decor theme. Spoiler: It's Vintage Industrial. I'll start off with the negatives. My truffle aoli was warm, I would have preferred it cold. My guess is that it was freshly made, but the mayo was opened as brand new. I only tasted mayo. The plates are nice, but because the burger patties are specially smash patties, they a lot of grease which unfortunately pools and leaks off the plate. Without a rim to stop the grease, I had to put my napkin down to stop it from leaking off the plate. The Gravelbourg Dill Pickle Mustard only really tasted like mustard. I would have preferred fresh dill sauce, heavy on the fresh dill. I didn't taste any dill as the mustard overshadowed it on top of all the other flavours. As for the coleslaw, my boyfriend is a big fan of coleslaw but found that it tasted like yogurt. Now as for the torte... I felt it was very over priced, the almond extract flavour was too strong and the layers weren't even. But there are a lot of positives ! Our server was extremely friendly, everything is 15% off regular priced items in January and the food was good! The chippers were phenomenal. Seriously, perfect seasoning with the thickness. I wanted more. The burgers were massive, neither of us finished them. The patties themselves tasted better than more than half the patties in this city. Good quality. There was a generous amount of pickles on this burger, which was exactly what I was looking for. And the fresh pretzel buns are unique and delicious. I loved these buns as they brought more depth to the flavours and they were great quality. I would recommend this restaurant. However I am concerned that their menu is too vast... But if they made it smaller and narrowed their focus, they have the potential of being extraordinary.

I ended up here twice in one day because we were staying at the hotel next door, and the lounge there was closed Sun and Mon. I had a Strongbow and my GF ordered Chardonay. It was half price appy's so we ordered Nachos and Dry Ribs. Now this is where things went downhill.... Fast. My GF went to the side room where they had VLT machines. I am too cheap, and get bored too fast, with throwing money into a machine with shiny lights and cool noises, so I was at the table when the food came. The "nachos" were not at all what I was expecting ( see photos ) it was crispy French fries smothered with cheese, some peppers, and more cheese. In fairness to the Pub, the menu did say "Irish" nachos - it was me who didn't read the entire description. The dry ribs tasted awful. They were also not what I was expecting. I sent the ribs back, because my friend said she would eat the nacho fries. I ordered the hot buffalo wings. What she brought back was chicken covered in dripping pink sauce. I was disgusted. I Googled buffalo wings and showed her what they should look like - not this. She kinda got an attitude and did not offer to replace them. Needless to say, the food left much to be desired.
