We heard great things about the food so we decided to try it for the first time. Our reservation…read morewas a party of 7 and a 3y/o for 5:30 PM. We got our drinks right away, but my 3y/o got the same cup as adults. We then placed our orders. Our food seemed to take a while being that it wasn't very busy. I ordered an appetizer to keep my daughter occupied, and we had to ask for those and our side salads. The cheese sticks were the same as what I can get at Walmart. The side salad was so small I could hold the bowl in my palm. The food started coming out, but it didn't come out all at once. Some of us had been eating while the others were still waiting for their food. My 3y/o received adult-size, chicken tenders, and fries. I got a fish dinner which was only 3 tiny pieces of fish, 1 side, and a side salad for $15.99. My fish was dry and looked like it was out of the freezer. My haluski tasted too much like pepper and was mushy. My pierogies were good. For myself and a 3y/o WITH tip, my bill came to $80 which I understand there's inflation, but then reviewing my bill, I was charged for 2 to-go containers and a small pizza with 2 toppings cost me over $11 which I was not able to eat because the sauce was spicy. Actually, the sauce made my lips burn. The server herself was very nice, but the service was very poor. There were tables seated, well after we were and were gone before we were. We had to stop our server and ask for refills and our checks because we weren't checked on, even then, we still waited. It was definitely not a good experience, and I am very understanding because I've been in this industry for 26 years. We more than likely will not return!

Awesome dinners and service. Highly recommend the cheesecake and the Lemon Drop Burger!read more

When we arrived, we were greeted politely by the starter and golf course staff. However, once we were inside, the attitude changed. I can't say if this is uniform of what their experience is like, or of this is just a small blip because of COVID, but the service at the restaurant and bar attached to the golf course was dismal. When we checked in for the course, we were informed that there is a $39 fee for a rider, in addition to the golf fee of $130 per person. While I was informed ahead of time that the $39 fee existed, I will say that of all of the high end courses I've ever played, this is the first course that ever actually enforced it. Not the best value, but I was fully aware of their policy, so I cannot say I wasn't informed. After checking in, we ordered food, and was told it would be ready by our tee time. When we arrived to pick up our food, I was told the food was just being boxed up, and charged for food that had not even been started. 10 minutes later I come to find out that the food had not been started, and I'm now 10 mins late for my tee time. After asking for a refund, I rush outside to hit my first tee shot, only to realize 2 mins later that they had shortchanged me by $13 dollars. Overall, the course is nice, and is in good shape. Having driven 3 hours from Philadelphia, I would have expected a better experience. If the golf and atmosphere had been better, I would have definitely been inclined to come back. After this experience, I would not spend the time, or money coming back. While it's hard to put into words how truly bad the experience was, the overall lack of professionalism and indifference to our concerns is among the worst I've seen at a high end course.

First off, the views of the surrounding Allegheny Mountains and Cumberland Valley as breathtaking. The golf course has five par 5's and five par 3's, including one named "Tiny Tim". The No. 4, which is the "Volcano," is rated as the hardest hole on the entire course. On No. 10, you hit from an raised green over a valley to a two-tiered green with a high shelf in back. All in all, BJ enjoyed this course.
