Staff of a mix of thugs and good rats. No professionalism just failure across the board. The Shell gas station is much better run by professional staff with great service. It's sad to say but it's a reality and a common pattern ninjas will run your business in to the ground. If I was management I would get rid of these people they effing suck. The staff in MAPCO Mart was very kind and friendly. I bought some snacks while there and attempted to buy firewood but they were all sold out, which was very disappointing. As it turns out, the entire time we stayed down the road at the campground, MAPCO Mart never had firewood, which didn't make sense to me. Overall, average experience.

There were a lot of people needing his attention, but he kept his cool and acted very professional. He was also very friendly and had a great attitude. I'm sorry I didn't get his name. The drink coolers had not been stock lately and there were many empty shelves. There were only a few Coca-Colas left and the only Coke Zeros I saw were bottles of Coke Spice. I don't know about you, but that sounds awful to me. I finally found two regular Coke zeros on the bottom shelf. They were laying in the slot so they were hard to see. I grabbed both of them. They had a sale on bottles of Gatorade as well. They were the bigger bottles and they were priced at two dollars each if you bought three. I like Gatorade so I bought three green zeros. That's still my favorite. I do still have a lot of waters in my cooler, but it's nice to have something different once in a while. I guess I need to go grocery shopping and get some food. I can't really afford to eat out every day. Thorton's is a pretty good store if you have to stop for road snacks. It's a big building, and they have a lot of stuff. Fountain drinks, coffee, ice cream, those roly grills that cook hotdogs, and some kind of little taquito looking thing. I guess it's a little better than some convenient stores. they do have a lot of stuff to code from. Oh yeah, before I forget, this store has parking in the back and an entrance in the rear so you can slip in the back door. I don't think I've ever seen a store that you could go in the back way before OK, I'm back at my campsite and I'm pretty pooped. I don't think I'm going to be up much longer. It's been a long day and I have more appointments tomorrow.
