Two empty water bottles added to the mess. There was a layer of dust on just about every surface in there. To top it off, the sink was filthy. That itself rated a one but wait, there's more. There were approximately eight people in line to check out with two cashiers. No problem right, wrong. One of the cashiers was having a leisurely conversation while one cashier was trying to keep up. Propje were mad and rightly so. Some even said something and the cashier didn't care. I am not recommending any other gas station but there are three others at the exit. I will not come to this Thorton ever again.

They are exploiting customers pricing cheap off brand water the same price as the name brand. Why when a few days ago it was priced appropriately? Honestly hate this place even though it's literally right in front of my building. The employees are dumb and vacant. They must have hired people literally off the street. Staff of a mix of thugs and good rats. No professionalism just failure across the board. The Shell gas station is much better run by professional staff with great service. It's sad to say but it's a reality and a common pattern ninjas will run your business in to the ground. If I was management I would get rid of these people they effing suck. Maybe it's all gone to shit. ‍

As I was on my second trip back to my car, the manager of Exxon yelled at me, cussed me out, and put his hands on me due to where I temporarily parked my car. I told him that I was carrying heavy items and would be done in 30 seconds. He said he didn't care and I need to move. After I agreed to move my car, he continued to yell at me and berate me. He pushed the dolly at me then tried to take it from me (the dolly was given to me by Indus Kitchen). After I moved my car and proceeded to deliver the remaining items, he was still berating me to his employees and as I walked back out of the store, he continued to cuss me out. I said nothing more to him. *Delivery time minus him trying to steal the dolly from me was less than 2 minutes. I would give zero stars.

There are only a handful of free spaces, and they seem to stay occupied all day, leaving most drivers with no choice but to pay to park. I can't comment on the showers since I usually shower at Love's, but the restrooms had a strong urine odor during my visit. The convenience store was noticeably overpriced, and the Popeyes and Burger King dining areas looked worn down and uninviting. The staff wasn't rude, but the overall customer service felt lifeless and lacked any sense of energy or hospitality. Overall, this stop felt neglected and in need of some attention. It's fine if you absolutely need fuel or a place to stop, but there are much better options for truck drivers looking for a clean, welcoming place to take a break.
