My senior citizen handicap mother went in here to use the restroom. The staff decided to constantly harass her by knocking on the door and asking what she was doing in there. Their behavior was beyond threatening. When she got out of the restroom the manager told her the one restroom has a five minute limit. No signs. Some made up rule. There is an interstate that runs close to here and somehow this place manages to survive. The staff is a joke and have no patience. They put up slogan signs about community and when it comes down to it they want your money like every other business. Basic customer service and empathy for all people goes a long way. There was also beer. The phone accessories and electronics were amazing. I picked up a USB C cable that splits such that you can listen to audio on one side and continue charging your device with the other side. As convenient as it is these days to have wireless earbuds, when they lose their charge, you lose your audio. Especially when I'm travelling, I'd rather have this setup with corded earbuds and a means to charge your phone when your phone does not have a headphone jack. It was a nerdy find, but such a cool one. You can also choose from a wide assortment of CB radios. It was great looking at them, as it was all new to me. I also invaded the pork rinds section. I picked up a bag of chili lime ones, which I snacked on right up until I boarded my plane from Detroit to Toronto. They were delicious. Thanks, Turkey Creek! The man at the counter was nice. I usually swing by this location for the 7 Eleven part, as the gas prices are not very good here. This is mainly due to being located in Cool Springs where everything is more expensive. I always get gas closer to the city. When I stop by it is usually pop in for an energy drink and snack on my way to the office. It is always a gamble on what they will have in stock. Selection is hit and miss on most things here, especially the drinks. Always seems to be empty spots in the coolers and empty boxes on the shelves. They have other options, so I am able to pivot, but sometimes I hop next door to get what I was really after. Service is bland here. Nothing terrible, but also nothing great. Overall, okay convenience store that does in a pinch.

Multiple grades of gasoline were available for purchase. The windshield cleaning supplies were fully stocked. The areas around the pumps were clean and tidy. When I went inside to buy a beverage, I was presented with ample choices. They even had a walk-in "beer cave" cooler. It was mid afternoon, and an employee happened to be brewing some fresh iced tea. So I purchased a giant, 44 ounce, cup of that, and the price after taxes was only $1.64. Very reasonable! Looking around, they had fresh donuts, a pizza oven actively being used by an employee to cook some pizza, and an abundance of prepackaged snacks. I went to the counter to pay, and when the line became a little bit long, multiple employees came up to the cash registers to quickly get everyone checked out. Impressive! Kudos to Adakin for patiently answering my questions and getting me signed up for Thorntons' loyalty program. I wish that this chain of convenience stores would open locations in my home town's area. I will definitely make Thorntons my first choice of fueling stops whenever I return to middle Tennessee.
