When I went inside to buy a beverage, I was presented with ample choices. They even had a walk-in "beer cave" cooler. It was mid afternoon, and an employee happened to be brewing some fresh iced tea. So I purchased a giant, 44 ounce, cup of that, and the price after taxes was only $1.64. Very reasonable! Looking around, they had fresh donuts, a pizza oven actively being used by an employee to cook some pizza, and an abundance of prepackaged snacks. I went to the counter to pay, and when the line became a little bit long, multiple employees came up to the cash registers to quickly get everyone checked out. Impressive! Kudos to Adakin for patiently answering my questions and getting me signed up for Thorntons' loyalty program. I wish that this chain of convenience stores would open locations in my home town's area.
