Where do I even start?! Just WOW!!! The moment you drive into the parking lot, you are stunned with the amazing view. It feels like you are in the Swiss alps. They had pianos everywhere for guests to enjoy and they hosted a hootenanny where guests and workers signed up to do a special talent. They have 2 restaurants inside, a gift shop and coffee shop. We had a king room looking out to the parking lot with a balcony - the room had a cute little bathroom with a shower. The hotel had WiFi, it wasn't the best connection but we were expecting no internet service at all so it was better than nothing! They had park updates everyday with the weather info, which areas were closed, areas with bear/mountain lion sighting etc. Bears and mooses are known to roam the area so you have to bring your bear spray with you everywhere!!! The views (day and night) are just outstanding - you can stand out on their balcony and get the best views or even sit inside in one of their chairs and still get a good view. There's honestly not a single spot where you don't get a good view of the mountain/lake. Also the special thing about the hotel is that it is only open 90 days out of the year!!! It closes once the snow starts. We will definitely be back one day.

A beautiful hotel, the sunsets are amazing. The staff is very helpful and takes a lot of pride working there. Reservations take planing as the best rooms go fast. Two choices for restaurants with the same menu, the ambiance at the Swiss. lounge is more relaxed and the music is more upbeat. Hiking trails near by offer spectacular views.

The hotel is perfectly situated for hiking, relaxing, and enjoying the surrounding beauty. We stayed there for two nights at the end of the season, which meant that some services (e.g. food was no longer being served in the lounge, only in the cafe and dining room) were curtailed or reduced. But that did no affect the joy of our stay. The room we had was small with two twin beds. We also had a door that lead to a shared balcony. We sat in the chairs on the balcony and enjoyed the sunset over Swiftcurrent Lake (I posted a photo of that beautiful sunset). The door leading outside was old and warped and allowed quite a bit of cool drafts into the room. But, we knew this was a 100-year-old hotel and expected as much. The staff we encountered were all helpful and friendly. We would return to this hotel. For those who enjoy hiking, it was perfectly situated!

This is a review from someone who stayed at the Swiss Current Motor Inn. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. We had lunch here once which was buffet due to Covid. There were few gluten free options so our waitress charged us for a child's buffet. Super nice. The bar has a great cocktail menu and all our servers were friendly. As others have mentioned the view is phenomenal. Gift shops and snack area was well stocked. It's a great place to hang out.

After driving through the night to arrive at the Grinnell Glacier trailhead at 7am before the crowds descended, by the time I completed the hike later in the day I was more than eager to check into the Many Glacier Hotel. Designed with a Swiss theme because of the picture postcard Alpine surroundings of Glacier National Park, this hotel, like most others in the National Park system, gets my happy place. Keep your five-star luxury resorts; I'll take simple rustic in a setting like this every time. I could tune out the world for hours while gazing up at the main lobby's light fixtures that almost rain from the high, high ceiling. If you look at the room choices on the website, they all look like a homage to the worst of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Fortunately, a number of them have been renovated and my room banished that tacky motor lodge vibe for an interior befitting the overall look of the place. No television and no internet made for a luxuriously primitive stay. Everyone should disconnect from the modern world when they can. Another disconnect, this one unfortunate, is the food. Saying it's average or okay is being kind. One entree had bread that approached ceramic in hardness. The other had toasted bread that was a bit burned. None of this surprised me: food at the National Parks is hit-or-miss depending upon the time of year. Since the hotel just opened for the season, the staff from all over the country and other parts of the world is probably still learning to work as a team. Hey, you can get liquored up well, though, if that tradeoff works for you. I was here for the experience and the views not the food. On those two points, I loved it here. This was my introduction to Glacier National Park and I couldn't think of a better one. Footnote: This hotel is located in a remote area. While fuel and snacks are not difficult to obtain, more extended services can be challenging. Ensure that your car is in good working order.

We visited here when we came to the Many Glacier area to go hiking. We looked at staying at the hotel, but all of the rooms were booked, so we had to stay at the Saint Mary Lodge instead. We loved the back balcony of the hotel. The views were gorgeous and made us wish we were staying there. The hotel was crowded. It seemed to attract a lot of tourists. There weren't many places to park, so we had to park by the main road. The lobby and inside of the hotel seemed very nice. I can't comment on the rooms, but based on everything else, I would assume they were also nice. If I came back again, I would try to plan further in advance and stay here.

This is our third stay at the Many Glacier Hotel and we'll definitely be back. The rooms and WiFi coverage have both improved a lot since our last stay five years ago. The rooms also seem to have gotten some plumbing updates and new bedding. All welcome changes but without destroying the character of the hotel. People need to realize that this hotel was built in 1915 and while it's had many updates and improvements over the years is still a 105 year old building and that's why I love it. Yes it's not super posh but it's been tasteful updated without destroying the original character. The floors are creaky and the sound barriers are largely non existent but I still love it. The access to the hiking where you walk right out the door and go is amazing. The views from the lakeside room are beyond amazing. I challenge you to find a better room view in the continental US. This hotel is one of the Crown Jewels of the National Park Service. It's old but that makes me love it more.

We arrived late (~10PM) and nearly couldn't find the place because it was PITCH DARK without visible signage or lighting. Address says at Durham Road but it's really a dirt road 50 feet from Durham that is very easily missed. We found our check-in details taped to the front door. I say "found" because it was PITCH DARK so I had to use the flashlight on my cell phone and the lights to the car in order to see it. The paper directed us to Cabin 2 and said the key could be found under the front mat. We walked over uneven terrain, down stairs, across more uneven terrain to find Cabin 2. It was PITCH DARK without any outdoor lighting or lights on in the cabin. The room itself (and really, it was just a square room) was fine. It seemed clean, but was very basic. We immediately noticed there wasn't a bathroom attached. The bathrooms and showers are located in another structure back across the uneven terrain, up the flight of stairs, across more uneven terrain to the bathroom structure. Any middle of the night bathroom trips would need to be made in the PITCH DARK without any outdoor lighting. We ultimately decided it wouldn't be safe for us to stay there, so we left. We luckily found a lovely room WITH A BATHROOM at Glacier Park Lodge that was much more comfortable and safe for our family of 4. BEWARE of the misleading "private bathroom" and bathroom "a few steps away" language that are totally inaccurate and meant to mislead. Definitely not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues.

The carpets are stained, the hotel entry is cluttered and grungy, our room smelled weird, and there was pee on the toilet seat in our room...before we ever used the toilet. That means they didn't clean our room's toilet and if they didn't clean the toilet, what else did they neglect? Fortunately, I carry clorox wipes when I travel and I personally wiped down all the surfaces in our room. Oh, and I also found a glue trap under the bed against the wall. I have NEVER stayed in a hotel that had glue traps in the room! Why do they need glue traps?? Mice or bugs, but either way it's unsettling. I understand that all hotels must use pest control, but using glue traps in the room is tacky and disgusting. We felt so gross staying here and absolutely hated it. Unfortunately, it's the nicest hotel in Cut Bank. That's not saying much. Also, the walls are very thin. You can hear everything going on in the hallway and adjacent rooms. I was up until 3 am because of an adjoining room's occupant going in and out of their room all night and allowing the door to slam. We only stayed here because it was close to Glacier National Park. The only thing that got me through this stay was knowing I had a very nice room in Kalispell for the next leg of our trip.

I'm pretty surprised by the negative reviews here. We stayed in a Main Lodge Value room and found everything clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but everything I expected in the room. And the lobby and common areas were outstanding. There are a ton of great places to sit, the big logs are really impressive, and the grounds are terrific, with flowers, horseshoes, and even a small (lumpy) soccer field. Everyone we encountered were friendly and hardworking. Most surprising are complaints about tiny showers: ours had a neat large clawfoot bathtub with good fixture & curtains to shower. So I guess that isn't a common feature, but it's not like we had a super deluxe room.
