Manuel is very nice and easy going yet there can be miscommunications through the wife who is the person who handles the calls. I had Manuel for almost a year and suddenly, the wife stopped returning my text messages after she tried to overcharge me for picking up leaves Manuel had failed to pick up. This was my first Fall in Georgia. I assume the gardener will clean up the leaves and dispose them. Instead, Manuel created a wall of leaves between my property and my neighbors's. I called their number to ask for the leaves to be either bagged or be taken away yet the wife was snarky and told me it's impossible for Manuel to take the leaves of all the houses he maintains. I offer to buy bags and they came to pick up the leaves yet the wife tried to charge me an extra $120 for that after the weekly fee I paid them. After I asked for clarification, she stopped responding and it has now been 3 weeks. I had been paying them what they ask for weekly maintenance so I expect for the maintenance to take place. Another issue I had was they charge for everything as an extra, even if one asks small plants to be cut or removed. Make sure you ask upfront what their fee includes. I felt Manuel Just was focused on cutting the lawn and nothing else unless I constantly had to ask the wife about what needed to be done. Quite honestly, it's too much work to be dealing with his wife. She seems to be temperamental and also very rude for not returning my texts. read more

By far these folks are the best, most proffosial, most diligent landscaping company I have ever dealt with. They relandscaped my entire backyard, tilled it before putting sod down and brought in 9 or 10 loads of river rock. In addition they fixed the problem that started our yard from erroiding by installing a french drain where 2 gutters and one neighbor was flooding our yard with rain. This crew of workers were outstanding! from beginning to the finish, they did an awesome job. when I called for an estimate they came out within 2 hours. Joselin, walked around our yard with me and listened as I explained our desires. She then worked diligently researching various products to find the ideal rocks and plants that would bring our vision to fruition!! She reached out constantly to share what she found until we agreed on the perfect selection of products. Her written estimate was very detailed and precise. This level of customer service is superb and lacking in most of todays service oriented businesses . They came out as scheduled and completed the work to our greatest satisfaction including clean up. I hired Manuel Landscaping to lay sod in my backyard and install a French drain due to some drainage issues that I had they were supposed to also re-slope my backyard. We chose our sod type (Zosia) and they came and scraped the backyard of the old Bermuda and mostly weeds and then installed The french drain. I had to explain how the French drain should be installed and they basically covered only half the drainage pipe in gravel. The French drain is actually working and currently has no issues. The problem is with the sod. Of what they layed, only about 1/3 of the sod ever took root and never turned green. They didn't do any soul prep at all even though our contract stated that they would bring dirt as required. They installed the sod on 3/19/21 and since install the sod has at least received the recommended 1" of water per week. I contacted them at approximately 5.5 months after install to complain and they stated that the sod company would only replace the sod after 2 or 3 months. I contacted 3 different sod companies who all stated that they had a 1 year warranty. In the end, I don't recommend that anyone hire this company for anything other than grass cutting as they don't honor their work. read more
