Artists include Danielle Lopez, Carolyn Garay, Erin Curry, Lora Mosier, Lauren Bolinger, Jamie Tippie, Cory Randal, Jed Collins, Jason Frederick, and Kit Karbler with new and exciting artists being added all the time. Danielle is also a fantastic photographer that can meet you on location to film or photograph your exciting vacation memories. I recently attended an Ecstatic Dance drum circle event at the studio that was led by Dr Harry Pepper and his drum troupe Spiral Rhythm. It was such an exciting and freeing experience, to be dancing and surrounded by awesome art. I can't wait for the next one. Both sessions were as chill as getting your throat tattooed could be. No small talk while in the moment had me in an almost trance and really helped me to love the proces, or ritual of it all. I was expecting to be paying an arm and a leg for the quality of work, but he stayed on the very low end of my budget which I am super grateful for (tip yr artists if they are that good, friendly, and just as invested as you in making sure it's gonna come out awesome with the best placement). I was grateful for it, and also grateful the building felt accessible to me, as the meetings were ground level. Fast forward to more recently- I was excited to go back, post pandemic. I spoke with the woman at the desk, and asked about the current meetings. I revealed I was a recovering agoraphobic and would have a hard time going up the stairs or using the elevator. I believe she showed me the stairs. She did not mention online meetings. I really didn't feel supported at all. I remembered recently that I had asked about the peer support, prior to that, where someone comes to your home. I thought that would be good for me. I was told I would get a phone call to discuss more details. Call never came. Don't let people like me fall through the cracks.

I did skip 1 of the night swims though. Lots of a variety of panels (as shown by the schedule pictures). It's best to buy tickets while on sale in January. Badge pick up is pretty busy the first day, but it moves pretty quick and is easy any time after. Lines tend to be longest for the otaku market and craft fair. Dealer's room and artist alley are varied yet roomy. This con is actually pretty well priced since it's a popular venue and big events. The wrestling tournament is also extremely popular. List goes on, but basically there's something for everyone.
