Went to get my passport pictures taken and they were so quick! Such a beautiful family too!

A friend told me that he took his passport photo here and that the photographer looked out for him, making sure no hairs were sticking the wrong way and that he was satisfied with the photo, taking multiple shots. Months later I came myself and experienced just that! He made sure I got the chance to look at myself in the mirror as well before sitting down. 10/10 recommend. I made my partner do his photos here months after that and once again it was the same experience. I will be taking my brother soon! read more

Great experience! Last week we took our annual holiday photos at this studio for the first time. We were over an half hour late but they still took us. Photographer was very understandable with the holiday traffic and being a mom of three, it takes some time getting a whole family ready lol he didn't rush us at all. He was super patient with my year and a half old. Photos cane out great!! We also got the photos back in less than a week which is a plus since we needed them before Christmas Day! Peter is the best. This is a real old-fashioned personal-service photography and printing studio. I ran in 5 minutes before closing with an emergency job and Peter not only accommodated me (though I wouldn't advise rushing in at the last minute lol) but was so friendly and nice about the whole thing, I felt like I was having my headshot done from the care he put into my passport photos alone. Highly recommended. If it's a bit more than CVS or Walgreen's--is it? I don't even know--I don't care, I'll keep coming here for the kind, old-fashioned service. read more

After getting my passport photos rejected that were taken at CVS, I asked around and was directed here. Not only did he have the pictures done in 5 minutes, he started printing them while I left the store to find an ATM so I could pay him. The pictures were exceptionally better than the ones I got at CVS. But that is not what prompted me to write this review. I had a bag of wrapped Christmas gifts with me that I was having a difficult time finding a box large enough, so I decided to just wrap them in thick brown paper and send them individually. I asked the owner of he knew of a nearby store where I could get a roll of this paper. I'm assuming because he wraps and sends picture frames, he disappeared into the back and emerged with a large sheet and a tape gun. We wrapped right there on the spot in minutes. I really appreciated this, I even made it to the post office that day due to him streamlining my tasks. I will be back for any photography needs, it's these types of mom and pop small businesses that earn your business by being so personal and professional. read more

My visit here made me remember the good in the world! I visited here on a Wednesday, needing to get my headshots printed in a hurry for an audition. I left my house so quickly that I forgot my debit card. My pictures were printed very quickly and I was allowed to take my pictures with me and come back to pay for them! I was like can I leave something for collateral damage. I was then told "We've been here in this same spot for 27 years and we will be here when you get back" I returned a few hours later to pay after I finished some other errands and found my debit card. I also needed my resume cut in 8x10 shape to put on the back of my resume. And out came a cutting board so my resume could be printed. This was a very pleasant experience and I will surely be back! read more

Mantione Studios is a reliable neighborhood staple. They have been at this location as long as I can remember. I took my children here for their communion pictures years ago. Throughout the years I have used Mantione studios and they have always been very professional. Yesterday my daughter in-law and I brought my granddaughter to get her passport photos taken. In spite of getting to the studio half hour before closing time with a one year old we were greeting with a friendly smile and were attended to right away. Peter did not rush us at all. He will take as many pictures as needed as long as he gets the best shot of you and then makes sure you are satisfied. I can't imagine going any place else. Came here looking for passport pictures, pulled up around 4pm but manage to find parking. The owner was busy with another customer but still acknowledge me and told me he would be with me in a few minutes. I asked him if he had a bathroom and he kindly pointed where it was located, thank God bc I had to go! Afterwards, he explained everything and we began our session. I was impressed with the fact that you can see your pictures after he takes them. You don't even have to move, you approve or disapprove right there. Never seen that before. The screen is right next to the camera. That was great! He charged me $15.00 for two pics, worth it bc it's was professional done. I went to a CVS and my pics were rejected by the state. Will definitely come again for portrait pics. read more

This studio offers very good quality pics and excellent customer service. Way better than those photography studio in Elmhurst and Flushing. Price is reasonable too. I took a trip to Spain with my daughter to create a beautiful memories by taking pictures with my good camera only to find that I was not able to suddenly locate my photos on my camera that I took of my trip. Instantly I lost them all and panic mode struck I googled as much information and made calls to Nikon, Scan Disk and finally a call to Mantione Studios. Peter Mantione was so patient and his heart was pure in diligently working to make sure that my memories were not erased. No kidding my camera was not user friendly, but Peter broke through and was able to explain in details and resolved all my concerns and he was also able to teach me a few important details of photography skills and camera usage. Peter did such a great job with my pictures. He retouched them and worked on them with me to get them exactly how I wanted. My pictures were a weird size and Peter had to hand-cut them, but he pulled it off and they look great! I will definitely come back to Montione for any future pictures I might need. I love this Studio! I had hundreds of pictures printed out here and the quality is amazing! Peter helped me select and edit them. He is extremely knowledgable and very friendly. He does Passport Pictures, headshots, comcards, family portraits, etc. He even does graphic designs. I needed some advertising done for the office I work at. He designed some beautiful cards for us and is very talented and very fast! He had the cards designed and printed in less than a week! Fantastic Job. Also, whenever I want personal photos printed, I put them on a USB and head over there. He has a really cool machine that prints them instantly and with great quality! Love this Studio!! The guy wasted my time, didn't want to work at all all what he was looking for is to get as much money as he can. all what I needed is one picture for work purposes. He insisted to do photo session or charge me $ 60 for one picture. He said he doesn't do single picture. How about passports photos you have to do photo session also? If you go passport photos this mean you can do one picture right? so disappointed. read more

I went to Mantione Studios about 15 minutes before closing to get passport photos. I tried to renew my passport online & do my own photos but my photos kept getting rejected. Peter Mantione not only took the passport photos for me he also helped me fill out the online application to renew my passport, uploaded the new photos and made sure that my new photos were accepted. He also stayed half an hour past closing time to help me. He was so kind, accommodating and helpful. From now on I'll have all my family photos done at his studio and I highly recommend him and his work. He and his wife are lovely people. read more

There are no words to fully express the gratitude and satisfaction I got from my visit to Mantione Studios this week. I actually only walked in the studio to ask about pricing and had no intention of making any purchases. Peter and his staff engaged me right away with questions about my needs and took the time to listen to my responses before offering their suggestions. After getting the photo I needed to make into a framed digital print, Peter not only took time editing it on his computer software but walked me through every step of the process to make sure I was satisfied with the result. His staff (I deeply apologize to her as I don't remember her name and I'd rather not guess an incorrect one) walked me through picking out a great frame as well. I like this Photography Studio. Of course its more money that the big chain stores but you get what you pay for. We have been here 5 times for each of our 3 kids Communion photos and 2 Confirmation photos. We will come again for 1 more Confirmation photo. They are very professional, neat, organized and timely. We received many beautiful proof prints to select and order photos from. We placed orders that included a collection of photos in a frame and individual prints. We are very happy with the photos- truly beautifully done. Their website is excellent and you can find out anything you want to know by looking there. read more
