We liked what the focus of the school was SUPPOSED to be. Music was pretty much non-existent. Art was just someone visiting the class once a month. We figured the first year or two, they might be developing, since it was a brand new school. But chaotic leadership changes and a lack of the specialty programs promised was extremely disappointing. Then the pandemic hit. And, even in the second year, they had an abysmal program that was not at all cutting edge, which you would think a Science/Tech school would be on top of. We ended up moving to CAVA for that second year and were SO glad we did. They definitely had their stuff together, since online is exactly what they have been doing all along. I was even more happy that we left STEAM when we did, as the year students returned there was a huge problem with bullying and behavior issues. Still looking for a strong in-person program for my soon-to-be middle schooler. But, definitely glad we left STEAM. Would have LOVED it if it had lived up to its promises.

My son is 10yo and has always loved math. I did notice some frustration with learning new concepts…read moreat school and though we do a lot of practice at home together, I wanted a bullet proof plan to reconcile any gaps and retain his love of math. We've only been here a couple weeks and Ive already seen such a huge difference. The very FIRST day he expressed to me "I feel very safe here mom, I feel no pressure and free to just do it my way and take breaks when I need do. It's just so fun and everyone is so nice. I LOVE MATH!" It melted my heart when he expressed this to me. He always looks forward to his sessions and is super excited to start and is then immensely proud of himself when it's over. They are open Sun-Thurs and have flexible hours. A huge selling point for me was that we didnt have to commit to a time, we could just drop in whenever theyre open. This was a must as my son's schedule is already pretty packed as he's in sports, plays instruments and is in foreign language classes. They also have longer hours than other centers. The convenience of their system can't be overstated for any family with a busy schedule. My son has also been eager to do math competitions of some sort, this center is considering holding competitive events down the line, and I believe Math Kangaroo next year. So this speaks a lot to their openness and adaptability to consider the interests of their kids. My son does not even think of this place a tutoring or help center. He just refers to it as "math league" as he sees it as a mental/math dojo (like a karate dojo) of some sort where he's a part of a math loving community and he comes to practice, have fun and learn to be the best he can be in math so that he stays ready and equipped for future math challenges in the classroom, out of the classroom in LIFE and those future high school competitions on stage lol! Lastly, Megha is the owner and from the first day (his assessment), she developed a quick rapport with my son just by talking with him and showing genuine care, kindness, interest and compassion. Kids pick up on these things quickly, as he did not get this same vibe and warmth from other math centers. Plus she has an incredible incentive program set up where kids can spin a wheel after sessions and also earn math money through hard work and they can save that to earn prizes as small as candy and as large as a PS5. They also have events like an upcoming PI party which my son has been talking about nonstop. He immediately posted their flyer on our fridge and told all his friends about it lol! We are just so grateful to Megha and the wonderful, kind team that makes this center what it is.

Absolutely the best investment we've ever made into our daughter's education. There is nothing but…read moregood things happening here for all the children that attend. Like many families we struggled with our child in getting her to focus and take instruction from her mom and dad. The whole staff here is incredible in working with our little girl. She now has the confidence and is actually excited to go into her math sessions.

My daughter attended delta charter online for 4 years. We loved it and the staff and if we had any…read moreissues it was handled very promptly until her last year there. It seemed like a great school until they completely screwed my daughter out of her chance at getting in to any college or university. She was given classes she didnt need and when her teacher left the school we were never notified until several weeks later. During those weeks her assignments and tests were locked which meant she couldnt move on until the teacher unlocked them. Since the teacher wasnt there anymore, my daughters emails to her teacher went unanswered. Several weeks later i received a phone call from her new teacher introducing herself. Assignments were FINALLY unlocked after the new teacher figured out how to unlock them. All the time my daughter wasnt able to do her assignments and test showed "idle time" which meant she wasnt doing work like she should be. She finished the year then decided to go to in person school for her sr year. We found out when we requested her transcripts for her new school, that her grades on her transcripts and her gpa were way lower than they should have been. Shes emailed and called the school several times and the last time received an email from the "principal" that i cannot believe would ever write like that to a former student asking for help resolving the issue. Shes a joke like the rest of the staff has become. They all have always been so kind and helpful until the last couple years. We have a couple staff members that have remained helpful to us and have said theres been several changes in staffing that have caused the changes in rude staff members that dont hold up to the same standards that they used to. My daughter has been denied several admissions to universities and colleges specifically listed as it being her jr year gpa which was not her fault. Admin is a joke there. For my daughter to reach out for help and basically be told its her fault and be told off by the principal, is ridiculous, embarassing, and sickening. This is her career. Her entire life put in hold due to a power tripping principal who should not even be in her position
