The overall environment felt negative and, at times, openly unkind. I witnessed staff speaking to students in ways that were belittling and inappropriate. In one instance, a teacher used name-calling toward students--something that should never happen in any school, especially one that claims to reflect Christian values. Administration was equally frustrating. Concerns from both parents and students were consistently dismissed rather than addressed. Instead of feeling heard, I felt brushed off and judged. During a very difficult time in my personal life, I expected neutrality and professionalism, but instead experienced what felt like bias and a lack of basic understanding. Leadership was particularly concerning. While interactions could appear polite on the surface, the follow-through told a very different story. Decisions felt inconsistent and unfair, making it hard to trust the administration at all. The front office experience made things even worse. Shannon, who is often the first point of contact, was repeatedly rude and unprofessional in my interactions. The tone was unwelcoming and dismissive, which sets a terrible example for both families and students. First impressions matter, and in this case, they reflected a much deeper problem within the school culture. To be fair, not every staff member reflects this environment--Mrs. Quilcy stands out as kind, patient, and genuinely supportive of students. She deserves recognition for the way she treats families. Unfortunately, one positive example does not outweigh the broader issues. For a school that promotes faith and character, the lack of compassion, professionalism, and willingness to listen was deeply disappointing. I cannot recommend this school to families looking for a supportive and respectful environment

Our child is learning at grade school level (which appears to be much better than Stockton/Lincoln/Lodi respective school districts), and our friends are often impressed by the differences in the breadth and approach of Montessori vs standard/other programs (we generally get the sense our child is ahead of where they would be should we leave Montessori). Not sure we'd find a comparable school without moving to one of the private religiously affiliated schools. Ever grateful this place exists. Worth every dollar.

Both of our girls, Legacy and Honor, grew up here. Legacy started in 2022 when she was just two, and Honor started when she was about a year and a half. Legacy stayed until she started kindergarten at Coral Hollow, and this year Honor said goodbye as she started TK. Looking back, we realize just how much this school did for them. The structure, the organization, the care, the individual attention. Every Friday, the girls would bring home their work and my wife and I would honestly be blown away. They had an app where they sent pics all the time. Throughout the week, we'd get pictures of the girls working, learning, interacting with their classmates doing things that I honestly didn't even realize kids their age were capable of. As parents, that level of connection was priceless. And the teachers were amazing. A huge thank you to Miss Shanika, Miss Raji, Miss Jenny, Miss Farsana, Miss Sunita, and all of the other staff whose names I might be forgetting. You cared for our girls, you taught them, encouraged them and treated them with so much patience and respect. Our girls still talk about you, and still ask to visit. It wasn't only the academics, though. It was the environment they created, the small group attention, The individualized care, the way they celebrated birthdays and holidays, all the little moments that made the school feel really special. It genuinely makes me emotional thinking back. Montessori on the Prairie helped plant the first seeds of our girls' education and gave them a strong foundation that they'll carry with them for years to come. We'll always be grateful for the love, care and respect you gave our daughters. Thank you for being such an important part of our lives. My freshman religion teacher also made a student burst into tears because she told him his dog wasn't going to heaven (his dog had just died). Also in that same freshman year she asked a group of girls to line up in front of the class and have a boy walk up and stick a piece of tape on one of the girls' hands. He then proceeded to take that piece of tape and put it on the next girls' hands and then the next girls' until the tape lost its stickiness. And that was how she tried to teach us girls that for every sexual partner you have your value decreases until it's nothing.
