Not overly salty, just right. As for the mac and cheese... honey, I had given up on finding good mac & cheese up north, but this place completely changed my mind. Creamy, cheesy, flavorful--just how it should be. The cabbage and collard greens? Chef's kiss. Service was alright--nothing to rave about, but it's a mostly takeout joint so I wasn't expecting anything extra. The ambiance is minimal and could use a little love, but once I scoped the scene, I kept my expectations in check and focused on the food. Now, the Arnold Palmer (or as they call it, Uptown)? It's basically diabetes in a cup--but in the best way possible. You have to try it. I'll definitely be back!

The portions are fairly large and a good value for the price. The Cubano is no exaggeration of a mammoth of a sandwich here. My photo is only of half of it. The service is a tad on the slow side, but it's a good sign as it only means everything is fresh and made to order. The owners are extremely friendly and you could tell through interactions that they truly care about the customer experience as well as the quality of their product. As this is a food truck and therefore a mobile restaurant, the schedule, location, and menu can be found on their Facebook page.

The steak sandwich was delicious, exact flavors I expected and packed perfectly. The ham croquettes side dish caught my eye so I figured I'd give those a shot. $2 and they were so well made and fried perfectly, not burnt at all and the filing was delicious. The food would be 5 stars here, I only rated a 3 because the guy who took my order was short with me and was not friendly at all. I was the only one there too. It's a shame because the food was so good. Didn't have the best greeting but then as I was waiting for the food, posting up pictures of the truck and menu to Yelp it seems I couldn't hear him from the table on the other side of the truck so another customer told me my order was done. As I was coming up he was making a comment to the other customer about how he only has a cellphone for the business for that reason. Rude. Dude, I was on my phone posting up pictures for YOUR business! Definitely didn't like that.

Dahi Aloo Papri chaat (4/5) - with a bit more spice we'd be looking at a near perfect starter. 2. Ajwani Paneer Tikka (3/5) - it said homemade but the paneer and the paneer was just about tender for the few minutes after service. Immediately after, it got extremely dry and hard to eat. Couldn't get my fork in or out of it. 3. Mutton Burra Kebab (3/5) - the flavor was just okay but the mutton itself was rather dry. 4. Pandara Road Wala Butter Chicken (4/5) - it was good but could take a bit more of spice to get that oomph and to meet the standards of its name. 5. Breads (3.5/5) - The naans were lavish to look at but this along with the tandoori roti got tough and dry upon just a few minutes of it resting. 6. Dal Bukhara - didn't try but heard it was one of the best items on the table.

I really enjoyed the table papad at chutneys given and all the food was delicious The bad: The entire time wait staff excessively came to pressure us to order drinks, their special menu, and to add more dishes. Our table had a total of eight times someone asked if we wanted drinks alone! In addition, they insisted on us scanning a review qr code and would not take no for an answer. I think the food was amazing but the experience overall felt really uncomfortable for a meal.

I ordered the BBQ Lunch with chicken, pulled pork, and BBQ tofu. The sides for this were vegan cole slaw, garlic roasted broccoli, jalapeño cornbread, mac & cheese, baked sweet potatoes, and I added a tray of salad. The food arrived on time, and they helped set up and got us ready for service. The chicken was on the bone, which I was surprised about. This didn't stop my crowd from finishing it all. The chicken pieces were also quite hefty. The tray of pulled pork was flavorful and not over-sauced. They provided a ton of BBQ sauce that was leftover since the food was perfectly moist and seasoned. The tofu was an excellent vegan option. The mac & cheese was plentiful, which was good because we typically run out quickly. The sweet potatoes and cole slaw were a bit of a dud. The CORNBREAD!!!! Wow, wow, wow! Drizzled with honey butter, this cornbread is moist, sticky, and so good. One problem with Little Urban Foods is that there is no brick-and-mortar, so you have to wait for an event to enjoy the food!

The best part was that everyone RAVED about the food. While I knew I over-ordered for 40 people, we had very little leftovers! The menu was fantastic & Blair was also great in helping me make the selections as I wanted everything. We selected the pulled pork, beef brisket, garlic/rosemary chicken, honey carrots, Mexican corn (she asked me first & then put out some pieces w/o the good stuff on it, if anyone preferred it plain), chickpea salad, shrimp shooters, spinach in phyllo dough & fried zucchini. It was a good mix to satisfy everyone. I also think their prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service they provide. I highly recommend KB on the Go!
