Classes are fairly small & students get quite a bit of personal attention. Many people view this as a school with some troubles, but, while one cannot deny this, one also cannot deny that there are some delightful, talented, motivated students in a variety of fine programs. Some of these students have the gifts & will go on to the Liberal Arts & Science Academy (magnet program) at LBJ High School to participate in their many unusual programs, such as engineering & robotics. This school currently has a nearly full complement of fine arts programs (band, orchestra, dance, art, computer animation), so the students have ample opportunity to apply their learning & express themselves in a variety of ways. Inexplicably, theatre arts are not part of the current offerings, but choir has been consistently so inconsistent that it was abandoned not long ago. Several in-school tutoring & behavior management, as well as after school enrichment programs operate on this campus to support student learning, affectation, and success, so that students have ample opportunity to get a variety of assistance all day long. The cafeteria management may be among the best in the district, though the food offerings are very basic, with no frills whatsoever. The cafeteria supports basic student nutritional needs & offers very affordable meals to staff, as well. However, the lack of flexibility in scheduling makes it certain that some school staff cannot eat a cafeteria lunch. Some staff might seem a bit gruff or grumpy at times, but what can one expect when some students will not respond constructively to any other manner of addressing them? Like many similar schools, some students often behave as if they are disinterested & they therefore can appear disrespectful & troubled.

I was appalled by the foul language that was left unaddressed by the faculty present. Instead, they accepted the assaults and some even moved away from those participating in the verbal hammering directed toward your coaches, the officials, as well as, other visitors to the game. Unfortunately for my grandson who works so hard, I will not attend another Garcia football game. Eventually, the young kids in the stands joined the 'adult role models' and began their own onslaught of profanity and insults. I am very embarrassed and ashamed of your faculty, administrators, and parents for their part in this. The male parent pacing the rail, screaming at the field and the female spewing profanity ruined the experience for myself and the majority of the fans trying to focus on the game for the welfare of the kids.

Both of my kids have VERY different personalities, and I feel like all the teachers have adapted and responded to both of their different needs so well! The owner, Ms Kathryn, has amazing communication skills and has created such a sweet community here in Manor for parents, teachers and kids. There was a parents night out recently that my oldest was begging to go to just to have a chance to be back at her old school! All of the teachers here are kind, friendly and trustworthy. We receive multiple updates and pictures per day and they have fun, interactive activities and lesson plans. My kids have gone to many different daycares, camps and schools and this has been one of our favorites jsut because it truly feels like part of our family!

I didn't sign a form that stated their refund policy nor was I aware of it before or after the transaction. We have been effected heavily by COVID and can not afford to lose money but this business could care less about the financial situation of their families. I was given no options. They wouldn't transfer the deposit to the next quarter, no partial refund, nothing. Following writing this review I have been threatened with a lawsuit, over $150? I met with her each week for voice lessons. We started very simple with vocal training and breathing exercises. We moved to tone, technique and timing. She referred a professional colleague of hers to record the music piece and he came out to her studio and met with me and her to ensure my vocal rendition would be perfect. Kylah really assisted in training my voice and making me a very confident vocalist which in turn made be a confident bride on my wedding day. Kylah is patient, kind and a lot of fun to work with. I loved going to my lessons!! My guests and husband were blown away and there was not a dry eye in the room as a sang to him.
