The online site didn't match what was available and wouldn't work on my phone. So I ordered my food at the bar (veggie burger and side salad) and after 35 minutes I finally checked in on the status. I was trying to be patient because there was a larger group, but my friend had already finished her food 20 minutes earlier because hers came through so quickly. (However, I had to also remind the server about her drink that was forgotten.) For my food apparently the ticket never went through to the kitchen and I needed to wait another 10+ minutes for my order. I wasn't offered any kind of compensation which is a bit annoying. When I got my food it looked rushed, it was fine when I ate it, but as you can see the cheese was thrown on last minute. The only highlights, very nice live music and our was our server was trying hard, might have been earlier shift in her career. She had some support at one point but that person just left so she was managing the entire upper floor and running down to check on orders. Might be a fine place to grab a pint, but go elsewhere for food!!!

We went upstairs to sit down, below was nothing open .. it was nice & quiet upstairs hardly any one siting there. Drinks we tried the Local Beer , nice tall glass they were good. Also tried the Maple Bourbon wings, I must say aside from them being a bit small the wings were very good, really nice taste to that sauce. Not much on the service u pay at the bar then find yourself a seat. Decent looking bar area below, good size seating area upstairs. It was nice to sit for a bit , grab a drink & quick bite while we rested a bit then headed back out to explore.

I ordered the large and it was huge - probably could have satisfied three people as a bar snack (there were two of us, so we tried out best to deal with it). The potatoes were slightly sweet, sprinkled with sea salt and served in the skins with a mayo based dip...yummy! I washed them down with a well chilled glass of pinot grigio.

Third our server was near-mass shooting/suicide level of stress when we arrived. She absolutely did her job but I could tell that the slightest mistake would send her over the edge. Not sure why, the pub didn't seem to be the high-stress kind of place. Fourth, the sign outside clearly indicated a Young's pub and we were not offered a cask ale option of any sort, which I didn't understand, was this a rule? No cask ales above the first floor?
