I am no elitist, so I have to say that we are still not disappointed by the menu choices we made here. We dined here before on our last trip to Manila and liked it so we tried it again on our first night back in town.
The siomai has a different texture than what we're used to from the ones we normally eat at Chinatown in L.A. but it was good for us. We ordered three of them.
I like the beef brisket a lot. It might be my favorite. The lumpia is also a different style than what we normally get, but again it was good for us. I also ordered the garlic kankong which was also good but I personally would like more garlic. Maybe I should have asked for more garlic.
My son was sooo tired from the plane ride that he was nodding up and down trying to keep his head up. When his beef noodle arrived, he ate the noodles quick, then we just let him sleep with his head on the table.
We had so much food that we brought home the left overs. I still enjoyed them the next day. read more
