The staff are friendly and were good enough to hurry our order through for us recently when we had to get to a show on time. The Duck and Plum Sauce was great, and so was the Fried Tasmanian Scallop and the Mongolian Lamb - even the humble Sweet 'n Sour Pork was delish and more light and crispy that oily and soggy (hooray). We BYO wine and my partner usually buys a beer or two, and I'm pretty sure they only serve beer, wine and softdrinks. If you're going with a few people, book early to get one of the big round tables and spin that lazy susan to try as many dishes as you can.

He loved it... plum duck, chilli prawns, sweet & sour, sizzling Mongolian. It's all there, in plentiful serves and with a great ambience. Perched on the second floor of the Esplanade building it occupies, bay views would be available, although I've only been at night. We bring wine but also enjoy the house wine, beer and soft drinks and now make a point of visiting Marina Crest at least a few times a year with friends and family.

I'm not writing it off yet though. A few years ago, this was the flagship of the Chinese places around Wynnum and it still pulls a pretty big crowd weekend nights and holidays.
