I've had terrible pains and aches at a level of an 8 or 9 out of a 10 scale. I've tried meds and stretches my doc gave me and also had acupuncture and cupping to no avail. Stumbled upon Dr. Travis' practice randomly and thought, why not? $50 for new patients and $25 for return patients. Sign up was easy, and I waited 10+ minutes to be seen next as a walk in. Prior to the adjustment, Dr. Travis asked lots of questions, including preferences. During the adjustment itself, he shared what to expect before doing the actions, and he constantly checked in after each dramatic crack. I told him I was fine each time and trusted him to do what was needed to help relieve the pain. My partner then went next and had a similar experience. We both walked out of there with so much relief! My aches and pains in the subsequent days lowered less and less as each day went by. 3 days later, they were virtually gone. I can't thank Dr. Travis enough! My partner's aches that originated during early pandemic days, which he attributed to aging/wear and tear, were also gone. The adjustments are affordable and so valuable! We have so much gratitude and awe for Dr. Travis' healing skills! Note that this place only takes cash or check. Affordable Chiropractor in Manitou. Came here after a friend suggested him. He usually works on a walk-ins basis, but during the pandemic he's been by appointment only and you'll need to schedule your services. They are a cash only business (or check) as they can keep costs down that way. They also only bill once a month, so you get an email via SuperBill with the total charges for that month. read more

I used Travis for many years and enjoyed getting adjusted by him until one day went in to get oiled up. I received the full adjustment but the next day my right leg wasn't working went back to him and he did a little different adjustment. About a week later went back and he gave me some paperwork to get E-rays in which I did. I received a discount since I was VA. The paperwork was then sent to Travis but I didn't receive a call or a message on this issue. This happened on February 17,2022. Not long after that my VA buddy took me to St.Francis hospital to get an MRI which showed the L-4 and L-5 had been damaged. I had surgery and I'm still in a wheelchair. My quality of life turned upside down. I'm still fighting the storm. It's absolutely life changing. Be very careful. read more

Such a great resource for the community of Manitou as well as the greater Colorado Springs area. It's ultra affordable; I paid $20 bucks to see the Chiro; the chiro himself is really pleasant and smart and capable. I was a lil worried that I'd be too big for a chiro to handle but this fella is a tall and strong man more than able to handle even thee largest of specimens without assistance. There's sometimes a bit of a wait, but the accommodation that has been made is that you can get a chair massage while you wait. Just a really good small business with an owner/operator that really provides value and service. Been there three times, will go back the next time my ribs and back start Paining me. read more

$15 for a consultation and adjustment, walk-ins welcome, no appointments, no hassle. I used to come here when I lived in C-Springs and little has changed. You show up, fill out a little paperwork, wait your turn, talk to the doc, and get adjusted. Simple as that! Then you pay just $15 in cash or check. Where else can you get such great service at such a fair price? Nowhere, that's where. I wish we had a place like this in Lawrence, KS, which has many similarities to Manitou Springs BTW, but we do not. Chiropractors in Lawrence want at least $100 for an initial consultation and subsequent adjustments run $60 and up. Too much! My military insurance does not cover chiropractic, so I suffer rather than pay overpriced hacks in the Midwest. Maybe I will just wait until my next trip to Colorado where the weather is much better and the chiropractors are not scam artists. I have been going here for years, and my family goes here, too. Dr. Travis Mauzy uses both traditional AND activator method, and I prefer traditional. He is a former college offensive lineman, and has the physical strength to make traditional work. I go here for regular adjustments (every month or so), and if I suffer an injury, more frequently. His office also offers chair massage at reasonable rates while you wait. His prices are the best in town, too. read more

This is a good place if you need a quick adjustment, but for any major problems, I would suggest looking elsewhere. They seem most interested in getting people in and out quickly as evidenced by the fact that they only take cash or check, they are open less then four days a week, they try to hurry you along, and they don't take appointments.
