And they gave us a coupon for a two for one drink (they probably hoped we would get wasted before seeing our room, in retro I wish I had also). And that is the friendliest thing I can say. ° The mattresses are lopsided, loud, some springs are definitely retired. ° The previous guests, the flies, were still staying in the room when we arrived. ° Desk service was apathetic and non-responsive (could stand to be replaced by one of the energetic flies). ° There is WiFi like advertised. Just don't plan on using it. It disconnected every other minute and when it stayed connected it moved at the same speed that a mannequin runs a race. Hardly hyperbole. ° Like curtains? Like peekaboo? Great. This place is a good mix for you. Plenty of moths have eaten holes through the window covers. ° Paper thin walls. I'll just give them this one. It's an old building. Who cares? But that other stuff pretty well sucks and can be fixed.

We have a 20ft travel trailer and appreciate the pull through sites so we can stay "hooked up". We can easily walk on a quiet local street to Walmart. The site has maintained grass and a sturdy picnic table. The secured bathhouse and laundry suites are very clean and well maintained. The internet performs well and is included in the nightly rate which is reasonable. We have observed that the tent sites are great- level, grassy and partially shaded. For tenters there are nearby places to take safe shelter for severe weather alerts. We really appreciate the owner's commitment to maintain and upgrade the facilities. The new roadway surfaces are great! The staff have always been extremely helpful and pleasant. Keep up the great work North Park, we appreciate you!!
