First off jets are not even supposed to fly in here. Short runway and it's been under talks for some time to extend the runway, update the airport, or move it entirely. Anyway United is the only current commercial carrier coming in here. 10.15.16 and the staff is friendly. TSA too, same people really just different shirts. Not super wild security but metal detector and bag scanner. They may pat you down, but in the year I've flown here I have had no issues with them. Small waiting area with a few drink machines. More food is ore security but also a vending machine. Still it's only an hour flight to Denver and you'll get service on the plane so I wouldn't worry. Ample food in DIA so wait If you like. Walk out, board the plane, business as usual. The United employees in DIK are polite and patient. Get your bags coming in plane side unless it's 2 degrees then they will bring them in. Some seating, rental car desks, a few taxis. Pretty basic airport but still it gets you closer than Fargo or Bismarck. Still Bismarck is an hour down the road so maybe that's a better option depending on fares or where in North Dakota you are trying to get to.

The manager of that place is so disrespectful to animals and just so immature with her words. She mistreats her staff a lot as well as the customers too. Her weekly rates for workers are so ridiculous saying it's the cheapest one in town! Just, stay at the other hotels that offer better room and bigger beds. The manager is just a Karen who feels entitled for a poor quality stay! She will kick you out since I've seen it happen . This place seems nice on pictures but a small bed and ride staff is not worth the price

And they gave us a coupon for a two for one drink (they probably hoped we would get wasted before seeing our room, in retro I wish I had also). And that is the friendliest thing I can say. ° The mattresses are lopsided, loud, some springs are definitely retired. ° The previous guests, the flies, were still staying in the room when we arrived. ° Desk service was apathetic and non-responsive (could stand to be replaced by one of the energetic flies). ° There is WiFi like advertised. Just don't plan on using it. It disconnected every other minute and when it stayed connected it moved at the same speed that a mannequin runs a race. Hardly hyperbole. ° Like curtains? Like peekaboo? Great. This place is a good mix for you. Plenty of moths have eaten holes through the window covers. ° Paper thin walls. I'll just give them this one. It's an old building. Who cares? But that other stuff pretty well sucks and can be fixed.
