Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5…read moreAmbiance: 2/5 Overall: 4.2 My group got the fresh fruit shaved ice with strawberry ice cream and coconut pudding. The shaved ice itself was really nice and fluffy, with the condensed milk topping being VERY sweet yet not overpowering. The fruit toppings we got, for the most part, were good. The pineapple and cantaloupe were both okay, though I think they both could've been fresher, but the strawberry and mango were both really good and complemented the shaved ice. I also really enjoyed the strawberry ice cream on top. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it added another dimension to the dish. The coconut pudding, though, was quite disappointing, not tasting like much and overall just feeling like a random and unnecessary addition to the otherwise really good dessert. The ambiance here was the main issue. It is a little bit barebones and not very decorated, but that didn't bother me. What did though was the piercing high pitched noise of the electronics, which made it really hard for me to focus, and the flashing lights, which just made me feel really disoriented. Still, this place is a hidden gem in the Dun Huang Plaza compared to everything else around it, and is definitely worth a try!

I was wearing a dress and heels and was very uncomfortable. The staff watched me walk toward the bathroom without mentioning that it was locked or that I needed to pay first. I waited a few minutes, thinking someone might be inside, before returning to the counter. Only then was I told I had to pay first. I explained that I absolutely intended to pay and asked again if I could please use the bathroom because it was urgent, but the employee refused. Her expression and response felt dismissive. She was also wearing headphones and on her phone, which added to how unwelcome I felt. I paid, used the bathroom, and ended up leaving my drink behind because I was so frustrated. I understand reserving bathrooms for paying customers, but I had already made it clear that I was purchasing a drink. Explaining the policy upfront and treating me with a little kindness would have made a huge difference.

I browsed their website previously and was mainly interested in trying a smoothie bowl or freeze. The establishment is so clean, aesthetically pleasing, yet simple. The employee I chatted with was super helpful and even let me taste to the 2 flavors that I was interested in. I tasted both of vanilla and açaí flavors. I wasn't a big fan of the vanilla, but the açai was incredible! They have two sizes for the freezes, I opted for the larger size. You can put as many toppings as you'd like. I opted for the blueberries, almonds, coconut chips, and the granola. It was so good! The granola was some of the best I've ever had. Pricewise, this around me $8.50. I need this place on my side of town immediately, but in the meantime, I will definitely be making a trip to Sugar land lol. Forgot to mention that I also signed up for their awards program. I believe you get one point per dollar. It was super easy to sign up, they have a QR code by the register and the process only took a couple of minutes. So glad I decided to stop by, I'll definitely be back.

This is my third time now, and they've been amazing every time. The waffle is like a perfect mix between a pancake and a waffle. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. It's made fresh and served warm, and the flavor is spot on. It's slightly sweet with that rich coconut and pandan taste that just works. They also have other flavors like durian and taro if you're into trying something different. I'll definitely be back to try the drinks, but honestly, these waffles alone are worth the trip.

This updated review is strictly for their waffles. Their waffles are always so thick, fluffy, nicely chewy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. Whatever flavor you choose, you won't be disappointed. My absolute favorite is the original Pandan Coconut flavor, but the Taro flavor and the Durian flavor are just as delicious. You can also get the Multi waffle which has all 3 flavors in one. They are super flavorful, not too sweet, and perfectly textured. You won't be disappointed with their waffles.

This is among the best coffee drinks I've ever had. Certainly the best I've had in recent memory. What I'm saying is it's in the running for the best coffee drink I've ever had. The egg cream is thick and eggy, which I loved. The coffee itself is bold with a strong coffee taste. The cream is dusted with a heavy shake of cinnamon and it all melded together into a delicious concoction that I couldn't get enough of. The famous Egg Coffee didn't stand out at all from all the praise it receives. I expected a rich, creamy coffee experience, but I couldn't find any coffee essence at all. Instead, the drink was overwhelmingly sweet from start to finish. I was also excited to try the new Lychee Jasmine Matcha since it sounded phenomenal, but it ended up being my least favorite. The lychee flavor completely overpowered matcha, making it hard to enjoy the drink. Overall, it was a good try but it wasn't cup of coffee.
