If you're staying on property at the Westin it's a great option for morning coffee, a quick bite, or last minute necessities. A great grocery + pizzeria + souvenir shop - - - - - - - - June, 2025 Visit My wonderful wife planned a relaxing trip for us to St. John's, US Virgin Islands (just east of Puerto Rico), in June, 2025; we had a great time... such a beautiful island! We stayed at the Westin, St. John, and the Mango Deli is the on-site grocery where you can also get pastries, pizzas, and more. We visited multiple times on our trip; most items in Mango Deli are items you'll recognize from grocery stores at home (US). They offer made-to-order pizzas, sandwiches and more. They have bananas, pastries and other breakfast food. They have snack food, including some Gluten-free (GF) chips... ... when we visited in June, 2025, we discovered Go Craize crackers - VERY good, in several flavors, and also pasta and sauce. They also have several Westin souvenir items, including shirts, hats, etc. The team is helpful and friendly. The prices are not overly expensive and this is a good source of food for your stay. This business is on the property at the St John Westin Resort. It's just ok. Disappointing really. We grabbed a sandwich and a small individual bag of chips to picnic at Honeymoon Beach. The sandwich was flavorful but the deli meat was too thick and chewy. Next time we tried we got croissants with egg, cheese and sausage which were decent but nothing to write home about. read more

It's not bad, and the location is everything! You never appreciate places in a hotel when the prices are high unless all of a sudden it's Thunderstorm raining incredibly and you can't get a taxi cab. This happened to us last year. We were glad we were able to get pizzas at mango deli read more

Adequate selection and they staff can give realistic times when food will be delivered from the kitchen.

The lemon glaze muffin was delicious. The turkey sandwich was very taste. The women there were nice and helpful. It was very quick to grab something to eat. The have a great assortment of things to eat and drink. read more

The Mango Deli is located inside of the Westin St. John Villas. The prices are comparable with the local markets and the customer service is friendly. For breakfast they have breakfast sandwiches, fresh bagels, muffins along with made to order coffee. Lunch offers a variety of sandwiches and pizza. I stopped in to check out what snacks they had a decided on a small bag of brownie bites. Later in the week we decided to order Italian subs. The subs were loaded with meat and the bread taste amazing. We also enjoyed the Italian dressing on the side. This prevented the sandwich from getting soggy. read more

You don't have to go to town to get food or basic food supplies, Taxi cost $10 per person round trip ... and Westin gives you $10 welcome gift to use in this deli ( thanks), we ordered pizza and other goodies here! If you are unlucky enough to find yourself on Westin St. John (bed bugs, bad service, overpriced mediocre food), this little deli on the Westin property is a life saver. While its selection is limited (sandwiches, pizza, salads, snacks), they are open from 7 am to 9 pm and offer deli food at ok prices. My recommendation: If you need to eat on the Westin St. John property, use the deli. It is simple (excellent BLT) but good at acceptable prices. The other 3 restaurants on the Westin property are overpriced and the cooks (or how I like to call them "perpetrators") are horrible. read more

we were staying at the Westin for a week and were destined to eat on site at least a few times during our stay. they have a few on site options including a beach cafe for lunch / dinner, a poolside lunch spot, an upscale steakhouse open a few nights a week, and a deli serving sandwiches pizzas and salad open for all meals. now i guess i should caveat by saying i live in NYC so when i think deli i have pretty high expectations. this did not meet that. or come even close. but i will say it was pretty much on par with the other places we dined on our visit and turned out to be the place we frequented most based on convenience and price (while expensive, it was less so than other restaurants and didnt involve a cab ride downtown to get to). we ate here almost every day for a combination of breakfast / lunch. they have a variety of deli sandwiches (lots of meat on hoagie rolls), a few pizza options (pizza hut style with low quality toppings), and a few salads (way overpriced pasta fruit and potato options). they also have some pastries and desserts available in addition to convenience store style packaged chips, drinks, etc. not much more to say except that we ate here because we had to eat and it got us through the day. sandwiches are large (thank goodness since they run about $12 each) and the pizzas (starting at $16) are large enough for 2 to split. the best deal here was a 6 pack of beer for $12, so maybe just skip eating and go on a liquid diet for your trip and you'll be in good shape :) many of the westin room options are in villas with kitchens, i would suggest going that route and cooking your meals and dining out downtown once in a while versus eating at the onsite restaurants which we found to all be subpar. read more

Okay people, you are going to want to take a pass on this one. There is nothing wrong with the little food they serve here if you do not mind paying an arm and a leg for it. But the quality is really not exceptional for the few lunch salads offered. You could simply walk to the market down the street and get the same food for half the price. At this point, it is little more than a snack shop. Prices in here could be $8 for a bag of chips or $28 for a Tortuga rum cake, the same cake that is sold in every other shop in the V.I. for half the price. read more
