I really love the freshness of the mango. You can really create any combination you want and never get bored coming to eat here. It is a great size and a filling lunch for me. I love mango in general, but eating at this way is even more satisfying. I love to watch the person who makes my mango creation. It is a lot of fun and there is always a line, which is a good sign in my opinion. Go try one for yourself and see what the craze is about.

Too pricey $5. Small portion. And a bit too salty.

Trying this out to see what the crave is. I've never eaten mango this way other than when it's very sweet. This is too salty. And it's quite pricey for such a small porti

For $5 a container, I was a little taken back at first. After seeing how much mango they actually put inside, I honestly think it's worth it. There's so many different seasonings you can use and you can tell them how little or how much you want! I got honey, chili salt, all seasoning, and hot sauce on mine and I love it! It's a huge portion and lasted me two days. Tip: since they use green mangoes, it'll get riper over night! Personally I thought it tasted better the second day because it soaked up the seasoning and became more ripe

Tons of different combinations that you can create and it's delicious! $5 per container and it's pretty much a full large mango. Super fun and yummy, definitely better than another pretzel or your typical mall snacks!

Tables are set up next to the farmers market. I opted for a glass of rose and it was really good (and I'm not a wine drinker). The plates came out at a good pace. Everything was really good and tasty. I tasted some new things (e.g. fennel, roasted olives...). I wouldn't mind eating here again, but it was not mind blowing either. It's outside dining so if there's no breeze then it must be very hot sitting there. if you love the better things in life and are a vegetarian then this is definitely the spot for you! It is very different for Miami! I'm sure there's nothing like this around.

Josette S. posted the event, and this was my second time at Chef Allen's Farm to Table dinners, since I'd previously indulged at an Elite event a few years back. There is still free parking across the street. The dining area had various farmer market booths around selling vegetables, jams and a tasty cherry Italian ice. To a carnivore like me, salads are typically just the app or first course, but as a vegetarian meal everything was a salad. We started with a family-style plate of various (yellow, red, and roma) tomatoes and fried okra. I found out veggie dishes can be fried! The third course of roasted potatoes and red peppers along with a cool yet spicy red pepper hummus. This contained my usual veggie plates so it was easily my favorite! Main course was a piece of eggplant parmesan with just the right amount of tomato, cheese and a side of wild rice. I ate most of the eggplant "meat" but left the skin. The second course, other than the shredded carrots, was the one I could have passed on. Like President Bush, Broccoli wouldn't be prudent, not gonna do it.. Dessert was a rich, not overly sweet, piece of chocolate brownie. Though I said in was going to be a troll and have a burger afterward, I was actually satisfied! Chef Allen himself spoke the first event I went (during the elite event) giving a history of how each dish related to the dinners theme. However, he wasn't there at Monday's event so we missed out on that. Still, the manager and staff from the Books and Books cafe were very pleasant and informative. I'd definitely give the cows another break sometime.

The line must have had 30 people in it, on a Friday morning??? What the heck is this about... I drove off, no time to stop; I am on a work mission. I went to my printer and he said "oh my, it's so worth the wait..." Okay, so I went back - I am not going to talk about the wait because it was worth every minute - I know why people are in line and surrounding the window - this is clear cut: Fabulous meat : jerk checken, jerk RIBS! I could smell the smokiness as it floated through the air, all the spices kicking in - I am salivating... I was hungry, had not had breakfast, now its after 12... Jerk ribs? I never heard of such; that's why I was willing to back! I picked up lunch for me and printer. Let's talk about the rules: NO SIDES! they do not sell sides unless you are placing a catering order. Pre-Order? NO, not unless you are ordering 5 plates and more.... I had the opportunity to meet Chef Tally and his daughter, Tallia (obvious namesake). I almost walked off without sauce. I just cannot tell you how good the meat was - the ribs were so succulent, flavor packed - JERK RIBS. I never thought of it; I have been eating BarBQ forever, this was a twist that I am in love with. Chef has a cool operation, I was wondering how he could serve all those people - he has a killer (as in giant) smoker that gets the job done. My next event, I will let you know how the sides work because I will call Chef Tally's World Famous Jerk for catering! In the meantime, I stopped at Publix for a small side of Southern Potato Salad and I was a very happy camper.

We enjoyed a delicious drink, and the book event was super cute and well-decorated, set up to the right side of the building. There were multiple food stations throughout Carousel Club, so it's a great place to get together with friends, try food from different vendors, and enjoy drinks in a lively, memorable setting.

We were told by the bartender, that she'd be able to make simple cocktails if needed. I do think that they are loosing a good opportunity to stand out with creative carousel themed cocktails. This is also a no cash bar. As we're sipping our simple gin and tonic's, looking around we noticed the games scattered around the area. There were a few table tennis and paddle games. I must comment on DJ who was spinning this night. He had such a wide range of music! From r&b, Latin, dancehall, pop, he had everyone on their feet dancing. The atmosphere is very chill, breezy and relaxing. Will be returning!

We tried it and loved it so we decided to get it. We ordered the #2: Churarto Elote Cup. It's one of the spicy options. Although I asked for hot sauce on the side since I was sharing this with my daughter. This option has mayo, cotija cheese, Tajin, Doritos, Cheetos, Takis, hot sauce, and lime juice. It's a good size so you get lots of corn. Lots of flavors and spice. We mixed up the items and it was quite tasty. The hot sauce adds that extra kick! My daughter also got the Jarritos Pineapple drink too. Like a sparkling pineapple soda. Too sweet for me but she enjoyed it. You can also "Create Your Own Cup" option too. Next time you see this in the mall and this is your jam, try it out!
