I do not recommend Mando's Auto Care. I took my car there because the check engine light was on. They claimed the problem was the catalytic converter and the oxygen sensor. They replaced the catalytic converter and charged me, but the issue wasn't resolved. Additionally, they couldn't find the oxygen sensor for sale. When I picked up my car, the check engine light was still on and they told me it only needed a computer reprogramming. I took my car to another shop where they diagnosed the problem correctly, found the oxygen sensor for sale, and informed me that the real issue was not at all what Mando's Auto Care had mentioned. They assured me that Mando's shouldn't have charged for a service that didn't fix the issue. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

1. I Called this morning and someone picked up and let me know I could come in today . I didn't make an appointment because I was unsure what time I could get down there. 2. I got there around 1 o'clock. Mando was there and greeted me. I told him that i needed a smog for sure, oil change and was not sure if i needed a transmission flush or service. I wasn't sure what the difference was and what my car needed. He said he would take a look during the oil change and let me know. I waited about 3 minutes after pulling up and telling him what I needed before my car was up. (very fast) 3. The oils change and the smog check probably took about 20-30 minutes seem like the time few by by time i went into the snack shop and sat down outside it was half way down. He let me know that the transmission fluid was very dirty but i don't want to flush it because it may cause damage which the hyundai dealership explained the same. He said it would take about an hour and he called and left me a voicemail just a little under that saying the car was ready. 4. I got back and he let me know one other concern he had with my strut on one side. (it was a lot looser on the left side than the right) I appreciate the way the information was given to me, I didn't feel like he was trying to just try to make a sale or more money he showed me the difference and that was it. 5. The price was very reasonable and actually less than I thought it would be and 20.00 less than the advertised price. I appreciate great customer service and Mando seems very honest and I can say thats very hard to find when dealing with mechanics. I WILL BE BACK! read more

Armando took care of my smog check at a great price and quickly. While I was there he helped a kid put air in his bicycle tires. Another guy came in asking for a tool to put a do-it-yourself flat tire plug into his tire. Armando actually gave the guy a spare tool that he had! I've been meaning to write this review for awhile now. Two years ago when I bought my first car, I called around to have a full inspection before signing my final purchase paperwork and Mando stayed open late to accommodate me needing this done immediately. Which was good because the car ended up having major issues and he advised me, correctly, to return it immediately. A week later, before I purchased a replacement, I brought it to Mando again and he told me it was worth the purchase. Fast forward a year. On a road trip my precious car starts having some major issues. I brought it to Mando, telling him everything I heard and felt, and my suspicions on what was wrong, and he told me to bring it back the next day. They insisted that the problem was a certain part being replaced, and I obliged. To mandos credit, he was out of the shop while my car was 'repaired' but upon paying and driving my car out of their parking lot I could see it wasn't fixed. A year later, I've just now been able to save up the money to return to a shop, and turns out it was exactly what I'd suspected. Due to being ignored about what I felt was wrong and the problem being misdiagnosed, I will never be returning to mandos. Two stars for Mandos kindness on my first two visits, no stars for his staff and their repair services. read more

I ended up taking my mothers car to Mando's after having the brakes done at Purrfect Auto Repair and having to keep taking it back to try and find out why they were still making scraping squealing sounds and the steering wheel was vibrating. Mando said he would do an inspection to see what the problem was. I won't get into all the things wrong, you can read the review I left for them. The bottom line is Mando waived the inspection charge and I had him redo the brakes which now work perfectly. He also found a problem that the other shop had missed and did that repair. He's honest and knows what he's doing and reasonably priced. Don't waste your time going to the cheapest coupon shop. There's a reason they are cheaper. A good shop has all the business they can handle. A lesson that cost me a lot of money by going to the wrong shop first. Thank you Mando!! read more
