Within just two months, three buildings have had pipes burst, causing major water damage to multiple apartments. One building even had sewer damage, and toilet paper remnants were still visible. That alone should tell you everything.
If you're wondering why I'm writing this review, it's to save you the hassle and stress. There are apartment communities with management that actually cares about their residents--this is not one of them.
Just last night, another pipe burst in my apartment building while my neighbor was in what should have been his safe sanctuary. Suddenly, water was gushing from his bathroom, flooding his entire apartment. And yes--this was anotherpipe burst within a month of them supposedly fixing the first round of water damage.
What really infuriates me is management's response. Their first thought wasn't to accommodate him or find him a safe, dry place to sleep. Instead, they said, "Let us talk to higher-ups." Are you kidding me? His apartment was completely flooded, it was 8:30 at night, and the fire department had to be called again--the second time in two months.
What does that say about this community? Our tax dollars are going to emergency responders to clean up negligence that this company failed to properly address back in December. What if there had been a real emergency elsewhere?
Another major concern that management has completely failed to address is mold. After all these pipe bursts, there has been zero communication about mold inspections or prevention. That is especially alarming because the first single-bedroom apartment in Building 8500 had mold during its very first year of construction. Back then, management acknowledged the issue, accommodated me, and even lowered my rent--but that was a long time ago.
Now, after pipes burst in December--before I unknowingly signed my lease--there's been silence. No reassurance. No plan. No testing. I'm genuinely afraid of experiencing mold-related symptoms again due to this ongoing neglect.
So to potential new residents, ask yourself:
* Do you want your hard-earned valuables ruined?
* Do you want to live somewhere that doesn't prioritize your safety or health?
* Do you want to drive home wondering, "Is my apartment flooded again?"
Because yes, that happened to me in December--right before the holidays. And no, there was no compensation for sleepless nights with loud industrial machines running nonstop. No consideration for freezing temperatures caused by a hole in my ceiling. When I was told, "If your bill goes up, we'll talk to higher-ups," I already had my answer.
If you're reading this and deciding where to live--go somewhere else. I genuinely regret renewing my lease early in the fall, and I regret it every single day. read more
