The first visit- Dr Wych's team spent over an hour with me talking and taking x-rays. Moving slow. Reassuring. Calming. We talked about EXACTLY what needed to be done and how they would do it. The next visit- absolute perfection. I went in and came out 4 hours later - Problems fixed. No pain. And a greatly reduced fear of the Chair! Highly HIGHLY recommend Dr Wych and his AMAZING staff for all of us that have that fear!!

They proceeded to let me know that they needed to do a cleaning around that one particular tooth, OK cost me $600 to have that one tooth cleaned. The pain continued on and got worse after the cleaning and was told to take ibuprofen and Tylenol together to help ease the pain. The pain got worse and two months later I went to a periodontist. They too took x-rays and discovered I had significant bone loss And an infection around that tooth. This tooth now needs to be pulled because it's beyond repair and replaced with an implant. The periodontist told me that the infection looked like it had been there a lot longer than two months and has now moved up into my sinus cavity. Save yourself a lot of pain and money and definitely DO NOT use The Art of Dentistry for any of your dental needs.

I am not one who fears my trips to the dentist at all, but this practice could cure anyone who is. No lie, I look forward to going each time and it's not just for the free toothbrush/floss/travel size Colgate at the end of the visit. But, I do like that, too. Who doesn't love a tiny pack of floss for their purse? I digress... The entire staff makes you comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. My trips should be awful because I have had gum issues for years. But, Ashley and I worked on a plan to get my oral health back on track. Dr. Orman helped, too, of course. I mean, the whole office rocks, but Ashley? She was incredibly helpful by recommending products that I could use outside of my office visits to help improve my "you got some bad gums/build-up and bone loss" situation. That means I could be losing teeth and getting partials or (gasp!) dentures if I don't get my act together. Dentures? Ewwww, no. I am far too vain for that. So, today? Ashley's investment in me as a patient and my dedication (floss, people, for the love of all things holy, FLOSS!) has me back on track. It's been a journey, but I will still be eating corn on the cob in the future with my own choppers and not worrying about where "I put my teeth," when company comes over. How embarrassing, right? And, FYI, if you have gum issues and don't take care of them? Just go ahead and prepare for dentures. Or, better idea: Go see the folks at this practice; do not wait any longer. They aren't super fancy, but they are super fantastic.

I have called the office weekly since receiving a bill with a question about dental work I received over two years ago. I received the bill in question the beginning of December for additional money for a procedure over two years ago that I paid the insurance estimated cost. The irony: I had to get the procedure redone earlier this year by another dentist because the fit was incorrect. I am very disappointed that no one will return my calls. I sent the additional money to them and still have not received a phone call. Please do not go here if you want quality care by people that care about the patient. This practice believes only in the money. If you go, you will notice the dentist has very expensive taste. Your bill will reflect that taste not your dental care. Go to a dentist that cares for the patient. Your teeth and oral health will thank you for it. I learned my lesson with this dentist and this office.

I went in for a cleaning and told them I didn't want x-rays, fluoride or my gums measured. I just wanted a cleaning since I am in the middle of trying to fix a crown they put in incorrectly, more on that in a minute. When I said I didn't want x-rays the Hygienist got the office manager who said "I had to get x-rays once a year". I had x-rays done there on 8/24/2024 today is 7/8/2025 so that is 10 and a half months ago, less than a year. I was also there on May 12, 2025 to get the Crown that has been digging into my gum since installed, causing inflammation and three infections, removed. An x-ray was taken then. The new dentist had trouble getting it off finally cutting it away and damaging the abutment. When he couldn't get the abutment out he told me to go back to the oral surgeon who did the implant and bone graft for assistance. The oral surgeon had to take x-rays including a 3D of my entire mouth. After working for three hours over two days the abutment could not be removed because it most likely was cross threaded or some other error by Crowns Now. The entire implant has to be removed, a new bone craft is needed and four months worth of healing before a new implant can be installed. I Told Crowns Now office manager to get the x-rays from the oral surgeon even though technically it wasn't a year anyway and I wasn't getting an exam only a cleaning. She made excuses and my belief is they are trying to get out of honoring their five year guarantee on crowns. I have suffered years from the poorly placed crown and their inability to remove it. I now have to start all over again and they are refusing to clean my teeth unless I do what they say whether needed or not. To clarify my reluctance to get so many x-rays is because I have half a Thyroid with nodules that I am trying to protect from excess radiation and they don't use neck collars. They apparently believe patients have no right to decide their medical care when it affects their extra billing abilities.

Dr. Taylor is - bar none - 'the' most competent, ethical, skilled dentist in the midlands. Before finding Dr. Taylor, I suffered at the hands of other area dentists who are willing to do more harm than good by doing procedures they lack training to do competently and then serve up another bill to have them fix their mistakes. That was my typical experience many times over with different dentists before finding Dr. Taylor. I went through much suffering and spent thousands of dollars -- until I was smart enough tor realize I should ask a pro for a referral. Dr. Eddie Taylor was referred to me from a highly regarded oral surgeon who was repairing yet another procedure-gone-wrong from another one of my now 'former' dentists. Dr. Taylor is honest. He provides a wide range of dental services; he is a highly talented, skilled perfectionist. He takes pride in his work and is caring enough to put the patient's needs first and avoids having patients endure unnecessary procedures that don't offer significant benefit. So many dentists in the area will refuse to refer their patients to a specialist when the procedure calls for one outside the realm of general dentistry or will even try to do the procedure themselves. Some even offer botox injections and other non-dental procedures. Dr. Taylor is focused purely on dentistry and getting the best possible outcome for the patient as a PRIORITY. If/When a specialist is required, he refers patients to professionals he entrusts his own family to. Since going to Dr. Taylor, I have received excellent preventative care and restorative care. I have healthier teeth and gums. He addressed several issues that were causing problems for me and provided me a better functional and aesthetic outcome with minimal inconvenience. He will not try to up-sell the patient or risk an unhealthy outcome. Dr. Taylor diagnoses, treats and does things properly the first time. He has amazing staff who are always professional, competent and compassionate. It took me a long time find a trustworthy, exceptionally skilled, competent dentist- but I couldn't be happier since finding Dr. Taylor.
