If you don't like giant portions, don't think about ordering the shrimp plates or anything like that. They're massive. Also, the tilapia tastes too fishy. They used to have pretty good Tilapia, so i don't know what happened. It is also an extremely long wait, but I understand that, as they are very busy, have low amounts of chefs, and have to prepare a giant cart of food to cook. But if you are ok with all of that, the food is usually great. They used to have really good salad (bring it back please) but they got rid of that. Their soup is absolutely amazing. You have to get the soup. Say yes to the soup. Honestly, it is just perfect. Even though it appears as water with a mushroom and 2 chives in it, it is still tasting absolutely amazing. Alexandria only has one place with this. And Hana is that one place. If you ever want good Japanese Food, have a show in front of you, and if it is your birthday have a welcoming birthday gift which I'm pretty sure is a free cake, then you should come here. Hana is the best ever.

They have a huge sushi menu and even import seafood all the way from China for some of their specialty rolls! I found that to be quite impressive considering the location of this restaurant! The chefs work behind a glass sushi area and you can watch them prepare your rolls if you'd like. The only thing I didn't really like was that the staff seem to be trained to rush you out of the restaurant as your eating. They will take your order and then after a few minutes if you enjoying your food, they will bring over your check and ask you if you're ready to checkout. May only get about 2 bites into your roll before this happens. I don't know why but all of their wait staff do that so I assume they are trained to do so. In other words, you may as well order your food Togo as they ask you if you would like a Togo shortly after processing your payment. Again, you could be a quarter of a way through your food when they ask so you will have plenty still left to put into a togo box. I ordered their seaweed crab roll and their shrimp avocado and eel roll! They were both amazing!! I personally love the taste of seaweed

Solid choice in Pineville…read more I get brought to some strange places by work folks. Sometimes when I'm in Cajun country they bring me to eat Mexican or a Chinese buffet. While Pineville is not really Cajun country, I was expecting a local favorite not Genghis. But damn I need to open my mind some. This place was great. Here's how it works. You go down the raw line, pick your protein l, veggies and sauce and hand it to a guy who cooks it on a giant flattop grill. It was damn good and damn reasonable. Better than expected for sure. If you're in Pineville, I recommend you stop and check it out.
