It didn't feel like a salesperson pouncing on a sale. It felt almost like a slumber party atmosphere! The original sales gal and 2 other workers were now involved and they made it so fun! Once I got in the fitting room, it felt like a fashion show. But instead of everyone telling me "everything looks great/cute" (toxic positivity), they were using their expert language and asking ME how I felt or what I thought. I really appreciated that! They grabbed me other sizes and showed me other versions of outfits (wide leg pants vs. oversized button down vs. shirt dress). I actually wore one of the shirt dresses out! As I was checking out, I noticed another part of the store. I completely walked right past it! And that was their jewelry side! I fell in love with 2 necklaces on that side! By this time, the owner had come out and it was a full blown party. I recently lost my mom - out of habit, I went to call her to ask which of the 2 necklaces she loved best. I had to use the gals at the store to be my stand-in-mom-energy, and I ended up treating myself to both! Now those pieces were expensive (both 14k!) but I wear them every single day. The best thing about Aloha Boutique is that there are 3 dressing rooms, each with hypoallergenic disposable thongs.
